I just wanted to say thank you to Brian and the team at Tint World in The Colony - they installed full body ppf on my Tesla Model 3 a few years ago and it has held up pretty good after 70k miles. Recently I got hit by some heavy road debris that unfortunately went through the ppf so I needed to get a few panels redone - of course I was going to go back to the original installer. The car looks better than ever - they touched up damage that went through the ppf before applying the new one and you can't even tell. I've also noticed that their ppf templates have gotten better over the years so that's a huge plus. Prices are fair and quality of work has actually gotten better over the years. I live in The Colony and have driven by the shop countless times so I knew it had been around for a while. When I got my new vehicle I figured I would at least start there to get an idea of what I wanted and get additional quotes. Being a woman I feel like car places can be a bit intimidating, but I am glad I stopped in when I did because I met with Penny whom was fabulous. I knew after talking to her that I did not need to continue my search. She really knows the product, knew that my vehicle already had factory colored glass and what percentages would get me where I wanted to be. The location is right off Main Street so it is really easy to get in and out. The inside of the showroom and service bays are surgically clean and brightly lit making it clear that they take pride in their business. Setting up the appointment through the chat/messaging system made it real easy to stay in contact with the shop before, during, and after service. I dropped off my vehicle and it was ready in the time they said it would be; needless to say I am thrilled with the tint on my new vehicle. There was one small issue but Penny got me back in to resolve ASAP. I had a my Lexus top wrapped here, I couldn't figure out why my car was so loud now, along with my top trim piece that keeps coming loose. Finally I decided I'd get to the bottom of it. Well the rubber around my sunroof on one side is gone and on the other it is only attached at one corner. The top trim piece had the clips that hold it on broke all but 1. I would advise checking very careful before leaving this place after work has been done. read more

Recently took my 2021 Ford Bronco Sport to get my front windows tinted and let me just say, I love this place!!! I had talked to Penny and Jeff, the owners, on Yelp about pricing and scheduling. They were both extremely professional and thorough about everything. I quickly got an appointment scheduled for a few days after I called. Penny is the best!! She is so sweet, attentive, and absolutely hilarious. It took about 35 minutes to complete my windows and they look great! A couple days later, I realized the driver's side had a few imperfections that I wanted to get fixed and I called Tint World and asked them about what I should do. Since the weather has been so funky, they asked me to wait a couple days and then recall again to set up a time to fix my window. Great place, great service, and great communication. I asked the Service Advisor at the dealership about tinting them, and was told no that the dealer would not do them any darker. They were very detailed while walking me through the process and also provided guidance for what was legal for tinting . Finished tint came out looking great. I needed window tint on my classic car ('86 BMW) a couple months ago and wanted to take some time to really think about my review. These guys seemed professional so I decided to go with them. I regret that decision because it was a poor quality job. Pros: Staff was friendly (when I dropped the car off) and tint is dark That's about it. Cons: They did not assemble my interior back correctly, for the passenger side front door the panels were mismatched and bent in ways I didn't even think were possible. My door lock handle was taken off and left on the floor of the car. I fixed it when I got home and unfortunately didn't take a photo. The passenger rear door panel was screwed into the door which is just beyond me. I get it's an old car and the plastic clips might have broke and they needed to put it back on somehow, but really? Screwing it in? No one asked me if they could do this, and the clerk didn't tell me anything about it after they did it while I was paying. I had to find these things out myself on the way home. Just all around unprofessionalism. Now onto the tint itself, the cuts aren't close to even around the edges, and it just looks half assed. I feel like they used my car to train new employees, which for over $300 I expected better from them. At least it's dark right? Overall they should feel lucky I'm being lenient with 2 stars. If they try to make this right then I'll change my mind but as of now I'm disgusted with this service experience. The tint looks great so far but still in the curing stages. thinking maybe I should have went darker on my front windows but that is on me. I had my windows tinted at Tint World early June and amazed at how it turned it out. With almost daily 100 degree days in DFW, it was important to get someone with a good reputation to install my tint. I made an appointment to go in on Saturday morning. Upon arriving, I was greeted by Penny who provided excellent customer service. She carefully explained to what my options were. I opted for as dark as legally possible in the back and and legal in the front. I expected to be there a couple hours but I was only there maybe an hour and a half. That was FAST! I did have a few bubbles after it was completed that I was told would disappear after a couple days and that was the case. About two weeks after my tint job, I was involved in a car accident where my passenger side door had to be replaced. The shop where my car was repaired scratched my tinted window in several places. They offered to fix it by taking it to their contracted service center. I wasn't a fan of that idea as it wouldn't be the same as Tint World. I called in and spoke with Penny again and she set me up with another appointment to bring my car in and they'd fix the damage. This is the type of customer service that makes me want to go back in the future. I will highly recommend Tint World to others. They do a fantastic job! read more
