Each person from Phillips that we talked to either on the phone or in our home was polite, informative and professional. We feel good about using a local service too! My husband travels for work quite a bit, and now when he is away on business, I can take comfort in the fact that we now have an alarm system protecting our home and our family. I especially like the option to control the alarm system through our cell phones. Now we can arm it from bed if one of us forgets to arm the system. Could also come in handy if you needed to let someone into the house who doesn't have a code or young children.

My neighbor has then used these cameras to see when I am out as well as my and my families activities in my home. When I called to inform them how their system was being used and requested that the camera be redirected they refused and stated that it is my neighbor's right to film into my home. The customer service rep hung up on me when I asked for his name. I would not recommend using a company that supports voyeurism/stalking of people and their families.

When the new homeowners moved out, they had Current Home Technologies come out to cancel their service and remove loaned equipment. Once I moved in, I noticed that the DSC security panel's installer code and master code were not reset back to the default codes when it should have been (as explained by Tony, the founder and CEO). Tony refused to send a technician out to reset the installer code (which would be a very quick and easy) even though it was due to their own error for not resetting it in the first place. As a result, they instructed me to just factory reset the panel myself, which will require a much longer process to re-enroll every sensor and device in the home. Pretty disappointed in their customer service as this is a mistake on their end and they're unwilling to correct it. They also had the audacity to try and "sell" me on starting monitoring service with them. This is definitely not how you get new customers and more business.

I looked them up because we are finally putting in a bigger flat screen and I wanted it done professionally. Luckily I found the contact of the guy who lead the original install in our home, Jeff Kill. He was an employee at Room Service for many years when I met him, and he left Room Service some years ago now has his own company called Ambient Automation. The install guys on his team are also from Room Service. This week (Dec 18, 23) Jeff's new company installed our new 77" Sony, put new HDMI cables through our walls (to support 4K video) and were done in less than 2 hours, and it all worked with our existing universal remote (also provided by Jeff at the original install, and it still works great!) So the 5 star review is for Jeff's new team in case other former customers of Room Service find this review.

Every time we call Mike he bumbles around like an idiot and says "oh yeah it's never easy when you use this system" Are you kidding me? They are old and SPECIFICALLY ASKED for an east set up. I have to reboot the WHOLE set up 2-5 times a day in order for a black screen to not appear. When we told them about this, this was their response "well we can't order a new one cause it'll take way to long." And "this shouldn't be happening, but there's nothing we can do to fix it. If it gets a red light on the tv then we can." Recently some "control 4" stuff wasn't working. My dad contacted Mike and left a message. Still waiting to hear back after about 5 days. That's some real Sus ass crook shit to do. So we bought 10-15 thousand dollar system, and they fucked up, it rarely works, and they say they can't do anything about it.
