Met with Reuven in Burlingame to get some keys duplicated and programmed. First off, very friendly and personable! He had his key machine in his van ready to go and I mentioned to him I had my own set of keys to duplicate since someone else I went to wasn't really responding and doubled price on me for an older car! You would think a car with a proximity key would cost more right? Someone quoted me $80 for that key and $150 per key for my 2007 civic. With the amount of work that goes in to proximity keys I was stunned by the $150 up charge for an older car. Originally I was going to get a spare key for my 2017 Acura but have decided that I wanted to get my civic keys done as a priority. Reuven was friendly and honest from the get go, gave me a flat rate and then offered to program for just a little bit more. He didn't mind at all and I really appreciated the generosity. Thank you again, I almost want to find an excuse to get my Acura keys done next ! read more

Car battery died and he came out same day to get me in. Also had a spare key fob done at same time. Nice service and fair prices. He is the guy picking up the phone, providing the quote and doing the work. Not part of the national call center. read more

After five months, the fob is not working again. I paid $110 in October for Reuven to come out and replace the batteries in two of my Mini Cooper keys. Shortly after, the battery was already dying again. When I reached out, instead of any explanation or support, he sent only a YouTube video showing how to change the battery myself. No message, no follow up. Just a video. That response felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially after paying for the service. He does not appear to stand behind his work, and based on my experience, I would not recommend this service. read more

Ruben was fantastic to work with. Our front door had two separate locks. One had a thumb turn on the inside with no key access outside. The other required a key on both sides. We wanted something more practical with key access from the outside and a thumb turn inside. While other locksmiths insisted on replacing everything with generic modern locks, Ruben actually listened and came up with a creative solution. He combined the two locks into a functional "Frankenstein" setup that met our needs perfectly. He also installed a smart lock and rekeyed the "Frankenstein" lock so we only have one key. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and clearly takes pride in solving tricky situations instead of just selling the easiest fix. Highly recommend him for any locksmith work, especially if you have a unique setup. read more

Reuven couldn't have been better. He helped answer my questions before he even came out to do the job. I bought a new house with 5 exterior locks and needed them all rekeyed (one was a different type with no key) and he did it all for me with a pleasant smile. He even helped fix my car FOB. Highly recommend, reasonably priced and great work. Thank you Reuven! read more

Ruben was excellent to work with, and we are glad we went with him. He made sure everything in our new door/locks worked perfectly, even though it took a little time to customize the fit. Communication and professionalism was great, and we will call him back if we need anything else done. read more

I found out I lost my car key (for my car that was in an airport long term parking garage), and hour before my flight was bringing me home. I looked for a locksmith, found Reuven, and explained my problem. It was 8pm, locked car, no key, in a paid exit garage at the airport. He told me it wasn't a problem. Showed up a few minutes after I landed, got into my car, made me a key and 45 minutes later I was driving back home. He was great, I was stressed and he told me everything would be fine and I was able to get home. Definitely worth the value, I got a lot more than I paid personally. And then I found my old car key later... dead (it had been slowly dying anyways) read more

The guy said he could get here in ten minutes and he was not exaggerating! Ive been spoiled by getting my locks rekeyed by whatever complex I've been living in, so i got a bit of sticker shock over the $89 flat rate for a one-lock rekey, BUT that came with 3 keys, AND it took the guy 5 minutes. The circumstance that necessitated the job made the charge worth it. I suppose I considered what I paid the cost of peace of mind. Also - and I apologize if this is sophomoric - the locksmith was a bit dreamy And professional and friendly! read more

I contacted Reuven with a tall request: we needed help quickly, including picking up a needed part at Home Depot, to install some new door hardware and rekey a house that was going on the market for sale. Reuven communicated promptly, fit us into his schedule, went over and above what we could have imagined and was kind and wonderful to work with. He even helped my mother-in-law put one of the new keys in the realtor's lockbox and lock up the house before they both left. He was a gentleman, but even more, was extremely knowledgeable working with new generation locks. Thank you Reuven. We will be calling next time we need a locksmith! read more

Reuven was outstanding! Excellent communication before the appointment and professional in every way. 5 stars.

Reuven came to make new keys for my car. My car ended up being more difficult due to some technical issues and Reuven was patient and thorough through the whole process. He had to order extra parts, which he paid extra for fast shipping, and came back to finish the job. His pricing was way more reasonable than other quotes I had gotten. Definitely recommend R&R! read more

My family bought a car which only came with 1 fob key between 3 drivers, so we hired R & R to make us two duplicates. Reuven was very good with prompt communication, easy scheduling and completely upfront pricing. He came to our house and did everything - supplied the hardware, cut the keys, programmed the fob, tested and made sure everything worked properly - for like a quarter of what the dealer would have charged us. I'm a very satisfied customer and would recommend this company for anyone in need of a locksmith. read more

Prompt, polite, efficient and fair! I will call on Ruben in the future and will recommend him to friends and family!

Our tenants came home to a break in at our rental house. Ruben responded to my inquiry very quickly and was able to come rekey all the locks that day. One lock was very old and the mechanism was in poor condition. Ruben went back to his shop, returned with a new mechanism and installed it without charging an extra service fee. He is reasonably priced and dependable. read more
