Fries were lukewarm and waitress flat-out lied about them being fresh out of the fries. She was just downright obtuse!!

Service was fine. Ambiance comfortable and quiet. The food, however, was a disappointment. Both my wife and I ordered pasta dishes which were drowned in tomato sauce. Her entree included shrimp, mine Italian sausage. But the large of tomato sauce overwhelmed everything. Reminded of quick and easy pasta out of a can. Other choices on the menu might be just fine; just don't waste $50 on the pasta. read more

I spent two nights at the Holiday Inn and ordered dinner room service both nights. The staff were super friendly, the delivery was prompt and the food was excellent. I am sorry others did not have a great experience, but that is definitely not the case for my stay. read more

I think about this hotel/restaurant quite often and it always brings a smile to my face. I was halfway through my drive back to Indiana from Southern California when I finally forced myself to stop at a hotel and freshen up. My Great Dane and I had been living out of my car and hadn't eaten a full meal in a few days by that time; so when I saw eggs benedict on the menu, my heart fluttered. Lynn had been working extremely hard by herself that morning with a few bus tours and I told her to just take her time, that I wasn't in a hurry. When she had a smaller break, she sat down and we struck up conversation about my travels and her Tydogs and all the fun and trendy hair cuts they were getting! (This was probably the first human interaction I had in days and it was so heart warming and uplifting!) Upon getting the check, I saw the inscription on the total line that read "Pd with love". Words couldn't and still can't describe the intense gratitude and sense of belonging I had after one simple eggs benny and a little conversation. Now I'm not sure if it was because I hadn't eaten in days or if it was the company I was with but this experience of paying it forward will always bring a soft smile across my face and warm my soul a little. Once in three years. It's the Holiday Inn Restaurant. It is nice inside. I was expecting something on the level of the restaurant in Pulp Fiction. Well I had a steak and it was ok. They didn't have baked potatoes. To pedestrian I guess. I had some kind of flavored fries that were forgettable. I had a wedge salad that wasn't bad. My one star is the price. It was to much for what was served and the quality and flavor didn't support the price. read more

What a disappointment. I had the mountain climber burger and it had a child sized burger patty. For the price I expected a littler more. The corn chowder was pretty good though. My daughter had the salmon. It was pretty good, real good actually. I could have had it myself and I don't do fish. My wife had the grilled prime rib special, after finding out the didn't have chicken strips or the diet coke she ordered. Even then 12 oz grilled prime rib, sounds good right.... NO! Good clean restaurant with a decent menu variety. I rate this place head and shoulders over it's equivalent in Cheyenne. I have eaten here for 10+ years and would say that although there is nothing outstanding about it, you can get a good meal at a decent price. read more

I eat here regularly for lunch and dinner and the meals are consistently excellent and reasonably priced. I especially like their 6-ounce sirloin steak dinner. Their sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had, better than those at more expensive supper clubs in Casper. The coffee is always excellent. The service is usually excellent, however I've been here on a couple of off-days where it was merely "good." I have also attended several of their holiday buffet brunches and luncheons. While the food has always been very good, you really need to get here when the restaurant first opens because usually the food runs out and they are a bit slow to restock the buffet. read more

Called and asked what kind of salads they had. The person who answered listed a few and I asked what came on a specific salad. I got the answer of "turkey, ham, bacon, and about any vegetable". We asked for 2 of them with ranch and no tomato. Our salads came with a bunch of avocado which we don't like, no ranch, and no bacon. How hard would have it been to pick up a menu and read it, really? There was literally one person there as a customer and it was 8:30pm. They weren't busy at all. 3 people standing around. Never again. I used to spend Sunday's running about looking for a good buffet and this was one of my favorite places. We haven't been there in about 4 months and headed back down for my little girls birthday meal. The wonderful lady making omelets is amazing and I love that she is still there. The buffet is served from 12-2 and we arrived at 1245. It took 30 minutes to order, after I got up to get menus that were never offered us! 2 of us ordered the buffet while the others ordered off the menu. When we were ready to eat, there was very little left on the buffet, and as it was after 1, the kitchen wouldn't be stocking any more. Why is the heck would you advertise it until 2 if you aren't actually going to stock the buffet! Worst service I've had in forever and I'll not be doing that again. $85 for a meal that sucked.
