Pictures advertised for the chicken salad included olives, but didn't even get one. Ordered the tomatoes on the side which they did remove, but didn't include them on the side. Also, the size of the salad shrunk while the price increased. You would think if you pay more, either the size would increase or stay the same, but that was not the case. I was missing some more flavor there, and think it would have benefited from some tomatoes, onions or olives. The meat itself was pretty dry, especially the chicken. Was not particularly juicy or flavorful. The pita was warm and soft. The two dipping sauces were both on the tangy side and very thin and runny. I was missing some element of garlic or dill? I miss going to Q's Halal right before the theaters, but I'm glad it's still open! My family and I ordered for pickup since we were around the area and set the pick up time for 11:45 AM. We arrived right around that time and by the time I went to pick up the order, it was all ready to go. Just a quick confirmation from the counter person to make sure he's got the right person, since we ordered through Grubhub under my brother's name and I was out the door. I appreciate the quick service especially during this pandemic. For myself, I ordered the Gyro Salad which came with both a chutney sauce and a tzatziki sauce. They definitely didn't skimp out on the Gyro cause there's more than I'm willing to count in the attached photo. The gyros were really well seasoned and I'm glad they didn't drench the salad with dressing. Not overdressed nor underdressed - it was just right. Both the tzatziki sauce and chutney was mild in flavor and complements the salad nicely. The only thing I would have liked a little more is tomato, but other than that, it was a delicious meal. I also got a piece of the pita from my family and it was fluuuuuuffy! I didn't try anyone else's dish, but I will say portion wise, they pretty much filled everyone's to-go box to the brim. I hadn't eaten here since before COVID, and I used to love. I remember the chicken as being exceptionally moist and juicy - like, that was what they were known for. However, the 4 chunks of chicken on my mixed plate were super dry; I could hardly cut them. The souvlaki was also dry. On the other hand, the falafel was oily and so flavorless that I needed to put salt on them. There was ample rice, which I didn't want (I'd asked for extra salad, but that didn't happen through a communication problem with the cook understanding the order). The salad was about 3 leaves and a few cucumber and carrot stick slices. There was a stale half pita on the side. Really, what a(n expensive) disappointment. Won't be going back. read more

This is one of my top go to spot for gyro as they are probably the only ones that do not shave their gyro into thin deli meat slices. The gyro are usually a bit thicker and chunkier, which is delicious! Their rice are always cooked perfectly and seasoned well (not sure why so many places struggle with their rice consistency and you can get it mushy or too dry). I have yet to have bad rice from them and I order from them monthly for years. My only gripe is that they are slightly more on the pricey side when compared to Nick the Greek. Fries were super crispy and not overly salty. Alot of times, places will say seasoned fries and it's just overly salted. we got a falafel wrap which was pretty tasty and a chicken gyro. Both were good, pitas were soft. The people behind the counter were nice. The only critique is that I wish sauces were more readily available. We were given a small container or hot sauce which wasn't really enough and a few packs of ketchup. Most places have the yogurt sauce which would've been nice with the fries! Would return. read more

Also cheaper in person vs door dash. Amazing service. Super small inside and so is the patio. Love the gyros but hate the fries. The seasoned fries are waffle fries. Satisfying Mediterranean food but not sure if I'll go out of my way to get again. My recommend would be any of the gyro items. The Gyro Wrap had a generous amount of gyro and nicely balanced with veggies and sauce. I also got the Combo Platter, which has gyro and chicken over seasoned rice with pita and salad. I actually thought the seasoned rice was the best part! The rice was so well seasoned with great flavor, tasted amazing even on its own but even better when eaten together with the gyro and chicken! Most disappointing was the falafel balls. They were really dark in color, might've been from over frying, and on the drier side. I dipped them in the yogurt sauce from the combo platter and it still didn't really help save the dryness or flavor. To be honest I think the frozen falafel balls I get from Trader Joe's taste much better. The seasoned fries also weren't very satisfying, and as a huge fries lover I really don't have much standards, I will eat any and all fries. The fries were great at first, but it started tasting very salty after a few pieces where I actually couldn't eat anymore or had to drink water after each bite. Overall, I'd say the wraps and platters are solid options to satisfy Mediterranean cravings, but I would just pass on the sides. read more

I've been trying to dine out once a week to support local businesses during this time and this week Q's was dinner last night. They have great food and I was happy to see they were open. I ordered the chicken platter which came with rice, big chicken breast chunks, salad and pita bread. The chicken was moist and flavorful. My girlfriend ordered the chicken salad and there was so much chicken on it, you couldn't see the greens underneath. I ordered via Yelp and was given the estimate of 15 - 35 minutes. I saw all the amazing reviews of this place and decided to give it a shot! The place is a quaint little restaurant that has a simple menu and friendly customer service. Unfortunately when I went in, they were completely out of falafel! I got the chicken gyro and waffle fries instead. The woman at the register was nice and bubbly. The wait was excruciating, however. I had just come in from a long workout and was absolutely starving. I was the first person of a long line to order, but waited ~30 minutes just to get my food. The food was okay. The chicken was good and juicy, but that's really it. I wasn't blown away. The fries were okay too. Since we were in the area I picked up Yelp to try something local, Q's was one of the first things that came up, I read the reviews and I told my wife we have to try this place! Got there about 10 minutes later and they just got slammed with other orders, so we had to wait about 20 minutes. The smells coming out of that kitchen OMG, I did not mind waiting at all, my stomach on the other hand was getting excited! The person behind the counter apologized for the wait and even threw in some baklava! A+ for conversation and customer service! I don't know what it is restaurants are so stingy with it and never provide it. The sauces are half of what makes afghan/halal food so delicious. Located across the road from a movie theater , this establishment offers both indoor and outdoor dining. It was not too busy when we came to this place. We ordered Combo Platter and Falafel platter. The serving size was good. Combo platter came with Chicken, lamb salad, basmati rice, bread, Tzatziki and Chutney. Falafel platter came with falafel plus hummus and the same sides. I frankly was expecting Combo platter to have chicken kabob and lamb-beef kabob but the lamb-beef component was gyro instead of kabob. I found it surprising, as they already have a "Gyro-Gyro} combo. The rice was cooked perfectly. The salad was fresh. I think the hummus was OK. The Tzatziki sauce was slightly on the sweeter side but overall complimented the meat. The chutney was not too spicy and went well with the meat. I thought some pieces of the chicken were slightly overcooked and probably could use a bit more seasoning. The gyro however was cooked well. Same goes for falafel, but it lacked some seasoning too. I found this to be an average experience. The food was not bad at all but I did not feel it was memorable. Our family of 4 shared the following: 1) We got 3 lamb gyros for each adult - these were absolutely delicious! 2) Waffle fries - tasty 3) 6 falafel patties - great, but huge! (If we had known how big these were, we would have gotten only 2 or 3) I called in my order by phone and was told the order would be ready within 15 minutes. When I arrived, the staff member who speaks English had stepped away, and the other two staff members weren't able to help me with my pickup, even though it was ready to go. Thankfully, the person who needed to assist me showed up within a few minutes. The set up was generally Covid safe. One staff member's mask kept slipping below his nose, which made me nervous. I've been coming here for years, and am so glad that I can still support them during COVID-19! I've been here half a dozen times within the past few weeks and it's always delicious. I usually get the gyro platter but today I got the falafel platter. I love their falafels, always fresh, cooked to perfection and tasty. You can either eat outside, they have a few tables separated apart, and takeout of course!! They offer baklava for dessert, and a variety of drinks, yogurts, sodas, and more.
