The items that we got were all amazing. Soft and pillowy. The pineapple bun had a beautiful custard. So tasty!!

Cream cake now had additional flavors

Hands down Best Asian bakery in town, very reasonable pricing, they recently added more flavors to their super soft cream cake (ube, mocha and forgot what the green one is called), I really enjoyed their mango cake, more cream less cake that's how I like my cakes. Their Thai Ice tea is cheap than other places however it doesn't taste as good as other places. (I previously had it and don't have a photo of it) Friendly staff always have a smile on their face and are chill. *****************Cash only/Zelle

Most buns/pastries are $1.80 and much larger than typical ones from a Chinese bakery. The pineapple bun, for example, is probably at least 50% larger than normal. The little bags they put each piece into are filled to the brim - I'm actually not sure how they get them in the bags without squishing anything! All of the buns we got were quite good. Pineapple Bun, Custard Bun, Danish Bun - All 3 use the same pineapple bun base. The danish bun had some kind of starchy sweet and salty paste inside. The custard bun has pretty standard custard inside. The cookie topping could be more flaky and crumbly, but all three were still good. Taro Bun - This is the same size as the pineapple bun and has a good amount of taro paste inside. Sesame Ball - Filled with a mung bean paste instead of the more common red bean paste. Ube Cake Slice - I expected it to all be artificially flavored, but there were two layers of what seems to be real ube paste. Certainly unexpected and delicious! Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba - Unlike everything else, the drinks here are quite bad. I believe they use a powdered milk tea base and as a result the drink is extremely sweet and has a chalky texture. The boba is overcooked and has an unpleasant texture. I do not recommend getting boba from QQ.

QQ is one of the best bakeries in metro Detroit. It's a quintessential Asian bakery. So many Asian treats are here that can't be found anywhere else. My favorites are the Fried Pork Bun and the Peanut Snowball. They also have Asian drinks, moon cakes, Japanese cheesecake by the slice, beautiful cakes, coconut cream buns, and more. The owners are friendly. Lastly, QQ is a cash-only establishment. A must-visit when in Madison Heights.

Their watermelon flurry sounded so good and refreshing after a lot of spicy Korean food today fell AA. Nothing more comforting to me than a cold fruity drink with some bobas. Their coconut covered rice mochi with PB looks good. They also have a rice coconut covered ball with red bean as well. Yummy coconut covered rice balls with red bean and PB. No watermelon, out of season for most of the fruit. I settled on the avocado smoothie, since it was fresh. The only other fruit that they had fresh for smoothies was the taro and the Durian, not a huge fan of either of these options. The avocado smoothie wasn't too sweet, nicely creamy and filling. The Boba bubbles were nice and chewy and fresh. The coconut covered rice balls with the red bean was yummy. The one with the peanut butter actually had chunks of dried peanut butter. Both of the coconut covered rice balls were nicely filled. They don't take CC at all. Only cash. Rather a big inconvenience for this small business to save a buck by not accepting CC. I had to run down the road to my bank and get some cash for this inconvenience. The bank of course was out of my way too. It's 2021 after all, all businesses should accept CC if they want more customers to come through their doors. I get that they are cheaper as far as prices, which is probably why they don't take CC. They could offer a $5 minimum for CC charges at least or make an exception here and there for newbies, maybe. The younger man there is quite friendly, warm and trusting. Food and drinks here are good despite not loving the cash only policy here. I would come back for the rice balls and smoothies.

First off, they accept cash only!! Came here in search of a birthday cake and there were 4 options, each in 2 sizes, to choose from - taro, mango, vanilla, and mocha. Ended up with the mango and it was a very light cake, not too sweet, meticulous details on it. There is quite a bit of cream on it, but it was very light so that was nice. A medium cake was $27, which I thought was reasonable. They also gave me a happy birthday decoration and candle upon request. They have a variety of buns but didn't try those this time. Overall satisfied!

It's small on the inside and it can get crowded if there's more than 5 people inside. The food is still amazing and their cakes are delicious. I don't know anywhere else that sells cakes like these but they remind me so much of California. My other favorite from them is the coconut & whip cream bun. Tastes fresh all the time. I think it could be family owned but either way, good customer service since the first time I walked in.

Best Mango cake ever!! I bought this to bring to a party and everyone loved the cake! It is not very sweet and super soft with fresh fruit. Definitely will be buying this again.

Have been a couple of times; both were take-out, and they pack their orders really well. They a good selection of tea, milk teas. The Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea are on my "must try" list. Lots of frozen drinks and matchas. We Tried: Steak Fried Udon Egg Fried Rice Bok Choy with Garlic Sauce Pork Xiao Long Bao Braised Pork Rice Bowl Mango Crepe Cake (stand out) All tasted fresh and had good flavor. Prepared well. The Bao's were the smaller dumplings and didn't travel as well, but the flavor was still quite good (Bao don't travel that well, even only 2 miles). Would definitely recommend. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu. Can't beat it for an excellent weeknight takeout or a dine-in.

However after placing our order on the screen, the two iced latte drinks came out with no espresso added? Apparently on the ordering screen you have to CHOOSE to add espresso, which is counterintuitive because then it's just sugar milk. Anyways that was fixed and my bubble fruit tea was good. I appreciate all the ways to personalize the tea and it's Good that they have non dairy drinks options! The staff person kinda awkwardly set the tray on our table and left - she didn't hand out the drinks to us, which is kind of weird? The cake we ordered took awhile to come out even though it was right there in the display - and I even inquired about it. we were done with our drinks by the time it came out - so it wasn't great timing and we were just over it. The spoons were cute but way too small to enjoy anything - my kiddo liked it though for a few bites. I feel like this was just for ambience and not really sustenance, not sure if I would come back. Maybe for the noodles or other foods but there's lot of other options nearby! They also advertise pizza on their front sign but I didn't see any on the inside menu...? Easy lot parking - watch out for the large pothole up front though!

Maybe a bad time, but once customers come in, the training should stop. We were not even greeted with a "Hello". The items in the window display was not even priced. I had to ask. The workers were very young, so maybe they were a little shy. Either way, we did not feel welcome or helped. The feeling was more of "leave us alone ". Remember, this place was empty. Once again Fox 2 News in Detroit has done a nice job highlighting a local business that I would not…read morehave known about otherwise. I ventured out within a couple of hours of viewing to experience Le crepe on Washington Avenue in downtown Royal Oak. I was greeted upon entering while my 2-high top table was arranged. The ambiance and vibe in this small space was extremely relaxing and the staff friendly. Tiekeya, the owner, was helpful when I explained that it was my first time. My server was her niece, a young lady with a tremendous smile who shared she was a student at MSU as I was wearing a pullover displaying her Alma mater that I know well from paying so much tuition over several years for my children. I started with an enjoyable vanilla cappuccino which was prepared to my liking. I did not feel rushed at all, but the service was attentive and consistent throughout my dining experience. The restaurant was quite popular on this morning and I heard others mentioning the segment on the news. It was funny, as I was texting a couple of friends (foodies) from work who were very curious to hear about my experience. I was sharing quickly upon sitting down as this was a nice treat. I reviewed the menu which had several unique choices and I decided to order The Green Goat which was a crepe containing pan-seared chicken, bacon, Granny Smith apples, and caramelized onions with goat cheese and a little arugula. The combination of flavors was delicious in every aspect! Wow! As wonderful as my main course was, the sweet crepe favorites were even tastier. I chose the Cinnamon Sweet Cheese with bananas which included a crepe containing the bananas and a house cinnamon cream cheese icing that was fantastic! Thanks again to Fox 2 News as I will gladly make the 24 minute drive to enjoy this experience again. I also was thrilled to meet Chef Dennis in the kitchen who I had seen on the news. Do enjoy if you venture out and there is free parking for the first two hours in the nearby garage. Le Crepe was so good that I returned the next day and enjoyed a wonderful local brewed enjoyable coffee while I waited for a table. On day #2, I was really struggling to decide which crepe to try from so many descriptive choices on the menu. I chose the James Dean which was also fantastic once again. It was a delicious combination of flavors of scrambled eggs, a slightly spicy homemade sausage that was a perfect complement, and red skin potatoes with a cherry sauce drizzle. Tiekeya assured me that I can try one of the others when I come back on Tuesday . It is wonderful to meet such a kind business owner and it was refreshing to experience the staff interaction and she shared that I have now become one of her "regulars". I can't wait to come back and introduce family and friends to this amazing menu of tasty treats.

The restaurant is more of a breakfast brunch place that closes by 2-3pm each day. Fortunately we faced no wait time and were seated promptly. It is not a big setting, rather small seating area and gives a very busy French street vibe. Crepes were decent, we ordered the chicken truffle and mixed Berry crepe, both were great. A couple of us had earlier decided to work from home (from the restaurant) over a Friday and they loved making it their once in a while office space while having coffee over. Will come again sometime.
