That was one of the most wonderful lunches I have had in years! And the coffee to finish! We had arepa, Cuban sandwich, quesadillas, empanadas. Everything exceeded expectations. This is a must stop. read more

Wow! Just wow! I have had a vacation house up about 20 minutes north of Helen and have been praying that one day, REAL, AUTHENTIC, Mexican quinine would make it to us. Sure, we have plenty of the run of the mill Tex-mex places, but most of them are a 2/10; on a good day. What we have here is a delicious little spot serving up REAL Arepas, street style tacos, and burritos large enough to take care of two meals. All of this wrapped up in a cozy little cafe with plenty of seating. Do not let the hours fool you - it's designed around our seasonality up here. If you find yourself in Helen, you really do not want to miss out on the deliciousness they're serving up at Q' Paso. read more

Cute little place in Helen! The food is delicious and super filling. I got the pork bowl, it has rice beans pico and plantains. My husband got the Tampa sandwich it's Cuban bread pork, ham, salami, Swiss cheese mustard and pickles. Delicious- we are both struggling to finish our meals and we are big eaters. We also got a side of Yuca Frits and plantains. Definitely recommend and will be coming back again.. we got empanadas and churros for home read more

Delicious. Hidden a bit off the beaten path (thankfully) in downtown Helen, this was a delicious change from the traditional Helen restaurants. The Latin bowl was stuffed with beans, rice, meat and salsa. The yucca frita added a delicious crunch, and fried plantains add a dessert-like element. The Cuban sandwich was drip-down-your-arm delicious. Friendly staff really want to make sure your experience is a positive one, which it was read more

Came here before leaving Helen the place is very warm and welcoming like all Latin households are, you feel like you are in a little cafe in Miami in a way. The owner super nice and welcoming I had an Arepa de pollo, A chicken quesadilla, and A Cuban sandwich all of the were flavorful with lots of meat and the fries are crispy . Cortadito Cubano is very good one of the best of coffees I had in Helen . I would say the only thing is to have condiments on the table for easy grab. read more

Q'Paso Latin Grub - Cortadero Cubano - Latin American Near Me - Helen, Georgia

The best Latin food in Helen. The kids loved the Quesadillas with a side of black beans and rice. They also love the Jarritos soda which comes in different flavors. I ordered a Latin bowl which was packed with delicious flavor as if I was back in Miami. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich and it is in fact the best Cuban sandwich he has ever had. We wish we would have found this place earlier and eaten here every day. Definitely try this place out if you love Latin read more

Definitely recommend! After walking through Helen, GA for the first time for the holidays, all the restaurants were packed. Our party of 6 was told there would be hours of wait times everywhere we went. Luckily we stumbled upon Q'Paso which is right behind Bodensee. Their food didn't disappoint with nice workers and fresh food. We got in towards the end of the day and they had run out of their empanadas but definitely try it out if you can! They make the dough everyday and only make a certain amount of dough. I got the Latin bowl and had plenty of leftovers to eat later. My boyfriend got the Pan con Lechone which is the more authentic version of the Cuban sandwhich. The churros were yummy too. Definitely wanna try the rest of the desserts next time. The resturaunt itself was very clean and new looking. I am very happy we stopped in. Everyone was fully and completely satisfied with their meals and we couldn't stop raving about it. read more

Ate here today as a party of 3 including a hungry toddler (if you know you know). What stood out the most was the hospitality. I asked if they sold tostada - they said they didn't, but the person I presume to be the owner offered to make me some and I took him up on it. The other items we ordered (chicken arepa, chicken quesadilla, chicken croquetas) were all good) but I think my off menu tostado and the arepa were my favorites. The service was fast and it was lowkey which was very much appreciated. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Helen. read more

Great outdoor seating, they made cheese quesadillas for my kids which was super kind and the kids loved them. The seasoning on the chicken was delicious. Was a little off main drag but worth the walk, great service! read more

Phenomenal food and customer service. Very authentic Cuban cooking. We way over ordered because we wanted to try everything. The food did not disappoint us. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the area. We will definitely be back. The owner came out and asked us for our feedback. Very personable. We even got to sample a new menu item. That is coming soon. It is fabulous! read more

Came here today for the very first time after some recommendations. Overall the outside sitting was nice and they were in the middle of a remodel on the inside that will probably look great once done. The counter person was quite friendly and helped us select our food and the service was pretty quick. 5-10 min wait. Once we got the food the burrito was huge and my co worker really enjoyed it. He did say if you are not a fan of rice he wouldn't suggest it as it's a lot of rice, beans, and meat. I had the Cuban sandwich and everything was going for this thing. It was hot and flavorful and the pulled pork was dripping in seasoning. It was very very good and would recommend to others. The only short fall I felt was for nearly 20$ a plate without a side or drink included seemed steep for the market and neighborhood. I feel either throw in a smaller side to go with this or lower the average price 1-2$ depending on the items. Will definitely be back to try some other dishes. read more

Food was amazing and super flavorful. Nothing that my husband and i ordered disappointed us. Empanada tasted so fresh and is MASSIVE. Highly recommend to get away from all the german food and taste something that is high quality and actually authentic. Oh and don't forget to ask for the homemade hot sauce read more

YOU. GUYS. This place is SO GOOD. Truthfully I have been been to Germany and am not interested in bratwurst or anything like that. I want something delicious and satisfying. This place hits different. The empanada has like a masa breading that is to die for. The Cuban is tender and cooked to PERFECTION. And the plantains. The perfect little plantains. 10/10 recommend coming here! It's only been open about 3 months and I will absolutely be coming back read more

We found a new hidden F&B spot, behind the scenes of Main Street. Q'Pasa has a combination of Latin Rice Bowls, Sandwiches and other extra's including Latin brand drinks. The Flavor profiles and different textures of ingredients are creative, fresh and delicious and the quality of service is excellent being informative and very homely. Definitely worth the visit when I'm the Alpine Village in Helen Georgia. For those curious, F&B= Food and Beverage. read more

This place is where you want to be. When we approached, it looked like it was still being renovated and I literally thought to myself "this place looks sketchy, I bet the food is going to be great." And I was right. The guy's running the joint were super chill, welcoming and we're proud of their food. The big guy taking the orders had a great accent and was very helpful talking us through the menu, while we were decided the cook (and genius behind the flavor) brought me a little sampler of the three meats. All were delicious, I went with the pork but the chicken had some unbelievable flavor too. My girls and I all ordered the burritos, which the big guy warned us, are for big appetites. That dude was not kidding. The burritos were freaking huge! I can eat a lot and I couldn't finish it. The food is phenomenal! If you're in Helen and need a break from the German food, check out Q'Paso. These guys are the real deal. Oh! And ask for some garlic sauce.... read more

Food was fantastic and amazing!! The people checked on us numerous times asking us if there was anything he could do. 100/10 recommend

Food is delicious, very fresh and flavorful. Portions are well-sized. Great quiet spot for lunch!

I'm so glad we stopped to eat at this hidden gem! We had 8 people to feed (including kids and a vegetarian) and this place had something for everyone. We ordered some arepas, pan con lechón, and Latin bowls. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious and everyone lefts satisfied. My kids asked if we can go back before our trip ends. I had l bicha, which was delicious, but I tasted my husband's pan con lechón and it was fantastic! I will be getting that next time we go! The service was very friendly, and the restaurant was clean. Parking was fairly easy to find because it's not right on the Main Street. read more
