Burrito with beef, chicken, and shrimp
David E.

First visit and will definitely be coming back on a regular basis. Great food and service at a reasonable price. HUGE PORTIONS! Family friendly with a local feeling. Don't pass this place up if you are in the mood for Mexican cuisine.

This is our go-to local Mexican. Close to home. Consistent. Good skinny Margarita. Great nachos and enchiladas and burritos. The chips and salsa are pretty standard. It does get pretty noisy in the larger rooms because of how open it is and the larger tables for groups in the middle. Service is always pretty good and we always walk out feeling full.

Big difference in advertisement on website and what we were served. No flavor. Server was nice. Perhaps the mediocre food is just the Clarksville location? Everything was store bought ingredients.

We enjoyed taking our grandson for lunch. He is in college and we also gave him a gift card he can use later. Good and service, great!

Food was adequate, but if you order a margarita, be sure to ask the price. We paid 17.95 for a drink that wasn't very special.

I remember having an excellent torta (which does not seem to be on the menu now) but most other things needed some seasoning. CB has not changed. We were quickly greeted and shown to a table. Also the chips came quickly. The menu is far too large so it took me some time to settle on what I wanted, which was the Tuesday Taco special. Megan ordered steak fajitas. The food came fast enough. I had two carnitas and an asada street tacos with a side of beans. The food was not bad, it all just needed seasoning. Any kind of seasoning. Same with Megan's fajitas. Also needed seasoning and she even put salt on her beans. When is the last time you salted your food at a Mexican restaurant? I watched the fajitas for the first time in my life today. It seems like they cook the meat and veggies to a good doneness then put it on the hot cast iron to bring it sizzling to your table. They brought over the food pretty quickly so that was the first time I've seen the food burn at the table. Many workers came and checked on us, offering us more refills and making sure we had all we need. The fellow I think is the owner came by a few times too. Service here is very good!

She brought out chips, salsa, and queso. The chips were cold and a bit chewy, like they weren't quite done cooking. We asked for some that were a little more cooked. She brought us more and they were a different kind of chips. They were thicker and nice and crispy. They were unfortunately still cold, but they were much better! My husband got tacos. Birria and Al pastor. Both were great! The green salsa that comes with them has a really nice heat to it. (Also had cold boiled carrots and grilled onion to garnish.) I had Birria nachos with grilled peppers and onions. Chips were still cold, unfortunately. My meat tasted a bit like pot roast. Tasty though. The only disappointing thing for me was the cold chips and no margaritas! But other than that, very pleased. We will definitely be back.

I've been here a few times, this review is the combination of those visits. First off, this is not…read morejust Mexican. It is American, Asian, and pasta too. I've only had the Mexican and American so here we go. A few years ago the daily special was sliders. I ordered those and they might have been the best sliders I ever had. I have not seen them on the menu since. You get the traditional chips and salsa on arrival. They also bring some thin cheese sauce which is a nice add. This week we went for a late lunch on a Wednesday, maybe 1:30, and it was SLOW. Slow as we were the only ones there for a while, and slow to have our waiter come to our table. It was slow the whole time we were there. No Express today. I had the daily special, Popeye Chicken, which was sort of like the typical ACP but with spinach and mushrooms. Overall the only flavor I detected was mushrooms. Otherwise the whole thing was bland. The cheese sauce was bland, the rice was bland, the beans were bland. They served this with flour tortillas so I made a little sandwich that tasted like a tortilla. Megan had some steak tacos that she liked ok but agreed that they were bland.
