Friendly staff who do a nice job. Have usually been able to walk right in. Reasonable prices and clean environment.

Either a hit or miss. Sometimes they go so fast and don't take the time necessary. The employees are nice.

Took my mom & myself to get pedicures. The 2 gentlemen doing our pedicures were nice but did a poor job with the leg & foot massage and overall paint job itself. My mom drove 10 mins home and the paint on two of her toes fell off. We returned the next day to get them repainted & she put her sandals back on (after drying for 20 mins) and her pinky toes were smudged. We nicely asked for the color to be touched. They offered to do it but only put sparkle on her toes. She still had streaks in the color on the nail. When asked Ritchie if she could get the actual color painted on her nail, he told me to sit down and he would handle it. However he had the wrong color in his hand. Ritchie didn't need to be rude and would have proceeded painting THE WRONG COLOR. Totally careless and not listening to our concern. Unacceptable for paying $70 for TWO pedicures. We will not be coming back to Q nails also overall cleanliness of the place was poor read more

I went here today ( this is my go to nail salon ) and the lady doing my nails cut me through my nail, put GLUE on it brushing it off. from all of the times I've had her she's always cut me but not to this extent. it's been hours since I left and my finger still hurts from her cutting it. I showed a photo to the person at the desk and didn't care. I don't want to spend my money to continually get cut by her. I'll for now on be requesting a tech who hasn't cut me in my time coming to this salon. read more

I had a full set done and it was THE WORST I've ever seen in my life. One nail was pointing the wrong direction, they were flat, some were pointed and some round and all different lengths, they were bubbled and thick, and my original nail was filed down on the sides of my cuticles. I went back hoping they'd fix them, and got the same lady who just whittled them down and they looked horrible. Had to get a whole new set done at Diamond Nails. read more

I got dip nails done there and less than 1 week later they started chipping on the ends (5 days) I called to come in and have them fixed and they charged me to fix them even though they said dip would last 2 - 4 weeks. Very disappointed. I do not plan on returning. read more

I received almost an hour long pedicure today for $50. I was very impressed. The nail tech took his time and was thorough. I felt pampered and relaxed. All the little details were amazing... from hot towels, stone massage, etc. I am upset I forgot his name so I'm calling back tomorrow so I can request him next time. This was easily the WORST pedicure I have ever gotten, followed by the PREVIOUS one I got here. The first time I was with a friend who suggested the place, the second and most horrible was today when I had a gift certificate for a free pedicure. Even at "free" (to me) it was horrible. The technician did not remove cuticles, did not apply color evenly on nails (gaps left unpainted, did not cover edges of nails, etc.), and LEFT BLUE color from the basin water all over my feet and calves. So I got to run errands afterwards looking like I had been attacked by a muppet! I am so sorry my friends' money for the gift certificate was wasted on this place. read more

I had a nail appointment at Q Nails for a full set of acrylics about 3 weeks ago and it was just a god awful appointment. She didn't push back my cuticles in the preparation and she dug the corner of her drill all around the edge of my nail leaving this horrible ridge. Then after she put on all of the acrylic, she looked like she was looking around for a safely bit to go around the edge of my cuticles and ensure that she wouldn't cut me... But instead of actually getting up and looking for it, she grabbed a blunt top carbide bit that HADN'T YET BEEN CLEANED and used that instead. This resulted in her cutting my cuticles on every single finger. It got really bad on my thumb and I had to jerk my hand away because she cut really deep in my cuticle and she just said "wow, you have really sensitive skin!" ...NO I DON'T! YOU'VE JUST MANAGED TO DRAW BLOOD FROM EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY FINGERS! YOU SHOULDN'T BE WORKING AS A NAIL TECH BECAUSE YOU'RE TURNING MY CUTICLES INTO HAMBURGER! Then, after she had finished polishing my nails, she took the cuticle oil and brushed the brush right over all of the cuts I had on my skin, thus contaminating the bottle and making it jaw droppingly unhygeinic. After this appointment, I got an infection on 6 of my 10 fingers and they looked awful. They were sore, red, hot, and swollen. I had to apply an antibiotic cream to them for a week before they started to calm down. In short, I wish I would've walked away from this appointment because it was a flaming dumpster fire. And the kicker is; my nails didn't even look that good after and there was a ton of lifting a week after the appointment. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYBODY. I almost wish that I could give it a negative rating because she never apologized ONCE during the appointment and she acted like it was my fault because I was "tense" the whole time. WAY overpriced...I came in JUST to get a polish change on my toes (no filing or anything needed since I had just had them done back home 2 days ago but hated the color) and they charged me $15...even in the suburbs of Chicago the most I have ever been charged for a polish change for toes was $10 and usually it's $5. For $10 more at home I could have had a full pedicure. read more

I have beengoinghere for 5 years and have only been disappointed once They take care of me and my acrylic nails beautifully. My only prob,em has been a pedicure massage that was very rough and hurtful. but the next time , after I complained to the tech, it was very soft and nice. Did not do a good job. The girl who did my nails was nice at first. She started my nails and they looked good. Then she moved on the the second coat of color (for gel nails) she got mad because my thumb wasn't drying completely. She then reached over the table and shoved my thumb up to the top of the light. It got scratched and she got mad and it sounded like she thought it was my fault. She finally got the hand held LED light out and used that which worked better. At the end she was filing my nails and she SCRATCHED my skin and it hurt REALLY bad. She did that to two of my nails. When I was done I didn't tip her just gave her how much it cost. When I went out to leave I looked and my nails and they looked horrible. Spots missing, bumps on all of them, not full coverage, and nail polish hanging off the sides. Do not recommend. read more

My last pedicure was the worst I have ever had. My toe nails were cut to short on the big toes and at a angle. The polish was so thick. Because the nails were cut so short, the toes hurt. Very unhappy!!! read more

This was my first time here and not a good experience. They were in the middle of a state salon inspection. There was too much remedial cleaning going on to suit me. When the inspector came looking for licenses, my nail tech disappeared mid full set never to return. He was one of several who walked out or didn't have a license on hand. I sat for 5 minutes before the inspector questioned the owner and another tech finished my nails. Beyond that I was disappointed in the quality after reading the reviews. I've had acrylic nails for over 20 years so I know what to expect. There weren't color samples. You picked the color based on the dribbles down the sides of the bottles. My nails were uneven in length, shape and thickness. When I questioned why one was almost 1/4 inch at the tip, I got a blank look and a token swipe with the drill. Most solons smooth out the ridge where the nail and tip meet underneath with a drill. I saw a lady leave with cuticle oil dripping off her hands. I didn't get any oil or instructions about where to wash my hands afterward. They then charged me full price. I won't go back. read more
