Im very disappointed in my nails. I got them done just over a week ago. Not even 2 days after I got them done, I was zipping my suitcase and a nail just popped off. It didn't even look like there was any glue left on my nail. A little less then a week goes by and I was putting my pants on and another just snapped in half. I don't bite my nails or anything either. I also had to tell my nail tech to reshape my nails, and they didn't turn out much better. I payed $81 for a full set and a flower on each of my ring fingers. I 100% would not recommend going here. It's very disappointing that I have to spend an outrageous amount of money for 2 nails to pop off in less than a week. I will not be going back. read more

Service was excellent! Super clean and everyone was friendly. BUT, I didn't get what I asked for. The service took about 30 mins which was every short so I feel like more time could've gone into executing the design better. The designed looked okay but when I got into my car, i sat down and really looked at them. I paid $50 for this (plus tip) so I really feel like this could've been done better. I don't mind paying to get my nails done as long as I'm getting what I am asking for. There was still a little color left from my previous gel manicure (brown on the edge) as well. I just wouldn't trust them if you want any designs on your nails. Just go with plain colors. I will also add a picture of what I asked for. I may give them another chance just not for designs... UPDATE: I got my nails done on Saturday and it's Monday and the gel on one of my nails is chipping already... I'm used to the gel on my nails lasting 3 to 4 weeks without a chip or peeling UPDATE: So I went back to get them fixed and the guy in the front was super nice about it. Tina wasn't so nice, though. She was saying stuff in Korean? I sort of understood it. Super rude. She was shaking her head. She just had a very bad attitude when she should've checked (it literally took 5 mins) the first time around. This will be first and last time I come and I advise either not come here or avoid Tina. Worst place I've ever gone!! And they tried to overcharge $52 for a dip mani when the brochure says $45. There is only one 'mani' listed on brochure but when asked about the price difference they said one is a dry mani and one is the full mani. They said if your hand goes in water it's the "full". I said he did my cuticles and that was it, no shaping no massage literally nothing else! Yet this was the "full"....My nails have dip in all the crevices and are not even cleaned up. I have been going to this nail salon for 2 years and have been extremely happy with their service! From being greeted by Vu/owner at the front door, who knows customer service- to the enth degree! Vu is always very happy, welcoming and accommodating in any way he can be. That's something you don't see in other salons. The entire staff works together very hard to keep the salon clean and presentable all the time. All of the staff are great at their trade so it doesn't matter hich one you see. They take pride in their work and it shows! I want to send a special thanks to Henry who did my fill and pedi last time I was in. My daughters cuticles were bleeding when she got done and the guy doing her nails flat out said in front of her that he likes being able to speak a different language so that they can talk about people in front of them. When my daughter looked perplexed by this he said that he only did it while playing sports. My nails looked beautiful but were not glued very well to my real nails. My daughter's polish chipped off of several nails after just two days. I think my daughter got someone who did not know what he was doing, or was just starting. This is the only place I go to get my nails done. Ive been going here for year's, the owner is always friendly and is always sure to show his hospitality! There are only a select few I request to do my nails as some of the employees are not so accommodating and are kind of rough,fast and sloppy. The quality and service has gone downhill at this nail salon. Prices are up too. Wouldn't mind if that meant the service was great. This used to be the place to go for quality. I'm sure there are a few good manicurist there but I imagine they are booked solid. The guy I had was awful. Very rough, rushed, wasn't paying attention, cut corners and ended up doing a terrible job. Nail polish isn't even. Had to have him redo the top coat (because I noticed at the register the awful job he did) and a few nails still look awful as in ripples, uneven color. The owner just said come back anytime and have the nails redone. I was there 1 1/2 hours. Why would I come back and wait again? It should have been done right the first time. If i could give them a less than one star I BEYOND WOULD!!! I never make bad comments on businesses but this was horrible. First I set up 2 appointments for me and my mother. I wish you could see my daughters bloody and painful cuticles. She went to Diamond Nails in Duluth for a fill and the cuticles on 3 of her fingers were bleeding by the time she left. Her technician was Tina. Tina did nothing when she said OUCH during the procedure. Other nail techs approached my daughter at the end of the appointment asking to see her nails. She just wanted to get out of there. 2 days later, her fingers are still very raw and swollen. Upon calling, the person on the phone blamed my daughter and refused to offer any reasonable resolution other than they might consider a discount. When I asked him what he or any other technician would do if he cut a client to the point of bleeding, he said it was my daughter's fault for moving. Then he refused any solution. Went in to get a gel mani/pedi and they got me into a pedicure chair right away. They let my feet soak for a while and then I was greeted by the nicest lady named pong. The place was very clean and well kept. Pong did a great job with my mani/pedi even though my feet were kind of funky from not being done for a long time. They offered me water while I was getting my nails done and pong was a pleasure to have a conversation with. Salon manager did my full set of gel nails. I did tell him it was my first time getting a manicure. Yet he was very short with me and annoyed when I didn't know what he wanted me to do. For me, i rarely have my nails done or a Pedi so if I'm going and paying for the service I want it to be relaxing. This place isn't relaxing for me. The second you walk in the door they hand you color swatches and barely give you any time to decide on color. My nail tech literally hounded me to make a decision within 5 mins of being in the door. My dip nails were well done but i was done and out in 30-45 mins. My friend (the bride) also got a French tip done and they not only nicked her cuticle twice but the tip chipped the next day...i attribute this 100% to them rushing. I went in to get a gel manicure. I was literally in and out in under 15 minutes. They cut my real nails almost half an inch, without even asking. They didn't file any of them evenly (had to buy a nail file when I left) nor did they paint the gel evenly. I have bubbles of gel polish just randomly on all of my nails. That was the worst way to spend $40. The manicure itself was nonexistent but cutting my nails down after spending 6 months growing them out without even consulting me was just beyond outrageous. read more

10/31/2022 had a gel french manicure done by 'Tina' -- horrible! nails started cracking within 2 days, they said they would repeat it -- unfortunately by the same gal -- they had me soak my entire fingers in chemicals (have never had this done before to remove gel nails) and then tina proceeded to 'buzz off' my gel like I had acrylics-- she ruined my nails and literally a day later they were cracking again -- terrible experience and ruined my naturally great nails. this is for sure the last time I go here, I do my nails better myself with 'dazzle dry' and it lasts much longer -- waste of $44 and waste of my time!! read more

The women I had was super unfriendly, a fill for my nails was $44 which is outrageous, my pinky nail chipped not even 24 hours after I got my nails filled when I was itching my leg. Do NOT get your nails done by Tina. She was extremely rude and aggressive with me. At one point she even laughed at me after telling her what I wanted to do with my nails-mind you it was a simple dip nail. She even refused to fix my nail after she made a mistake and gave me extreme attitude for asking her nicely if she would fix it. I have never felt so uncomfortable getting my nails done. Overall the way my nails turned out looked terrible- she did not take the time to make it look good and took about 15 minutes to do my nails since she overlooked quality. My visit to Diamond Nails was ok. I am not sure what procedure for a pedi they practice. The pedi was not done very well. My soak tub was very cool and my daughter's, who was sitting next to me, was very hot. She had to pull her feet out of the tub because it was uncomfortable. Also, I had a trim of my toe nails with no filing. I was left with sharp edges that I had to take care of when I arrived home. My daughter and I took extra care to not mess the polish but I believe it was put on too thick. It rubbed off on both my daughter's and my toes. Within a day, I took the remaining polish off and put on my own which looked less caked on. read more
