I came t9 have my hair root tap and highlights. She t9bed at end and the highlights couldnt be seen and my root was now a redish tone and U wanted to match my natural dirty blonde. I had to go back in to have hihhlights redone and that turned out but damaged hair. And root tap turned a darker red color. Go again to have root done but still off. They said wait 8 weeks. 8n meant8me use products to fade root. No offer to atleast refund the root. Now I have damaged hair, curly are dried out and root did'nt fade for quite some time. And never the rite tone. I didnt want to go back after all of that. I wish would of just got refund from the start, they never offered that. It took just over a year to get my hair healthy again. Never had so many root corrections and never correct. Finally went to someone new at different salon and they fixed all of it in 1 visit, including the cut now I dont have 3 cuts in 1 is what new stylist said. read more

I was quoted $30 for a boy 10 year old boy hair cut for my son. The stylist was noce. The initial cut was uneven so I asked for one side to be trimmed a little more. and I asked for the bangs to be a bit shorter for preference. The final cut was 'fine' but with choppy lines in the back and longer than hoped but 'fine'. I was then charged $35 not $30. I asked why and was told the cost is always variable and dependent on tne stylist. While I understand upcharges for color or other services, a basic cut for a 10 year old boy that turns out 'fine' is not a legitimate upcharge. I would not recommend in inveniencing staff with questions or requests after they feel their job is done. I've already scheduled elsewhere to improve the 'fine' outcome before school pictures. The front desk signed the signature line on the credit card machine for me. They did ask if I wanted to talk to the stylist regarding the price but it wasn't worth my time bc we won't be returning and said the extra $5 she felt needed to be added could be her tip (when I was prepared to leave 20 % anyways to be a good customer even knowing she wasn't the one for his hair going forward). The coffee and beverage station is very nice and the receptionist that worked with me through my confusion in the price change and frustration was also very nice. They should not be signing credit card signature lines for customers. I would not recommend this place for straight blonde boy child hair cuts. read more

OK I get there's a pandemic but bottom line there is still customer service that is due to a client I almost did not follow through with to make appointment because when you call La Peinado's phone it is one of the rudest messages I have ever Heard from a business. Not just that when they call you back and you explain your situation with a special needs child. The receptionist did not give two hoots . Told me to send her in with my credit card never gonna happen! Bad enough they said I was not allowed to come in with the child and to have her sit on the bench and or car and wait they were 35 minutes behind I was not allowed to call and let them know I was there because "we know what time your appointment is will come out and get you "! The Child explained the best she could know diva products because of her hair falling out from the products and became extremely damaged by the product it was very clear you could see her hair was damaged. And because of that they chose to do a dry haircut on her and no products not even washing her hair because "I did not want deeper product used" excuse me you cannot tell me that there is not 50,000 other type of products out there that you could wash the child's hair, instead all I got a dry shit haircut on this child for $40 Sad thing is there is nowhere else between superior Wisconsin and Duluth MM for this type of a haircut for a biracial child. What makes me even matter is this is the only place that offers haircuts for biracial children the proper way how pathetic is this and they can't even give you customer service. Pandemic or not The person doing the haircut should've came to my vehicle seeing that I had to sit there for two hours and asked me what would you like to be done with her hair. Obviously I was not entitled to my input on the whole issue seeing that I was not allowed customer service how sad. read more

I called for an appointment, and was put on hold for over 6 minutes. Yes, I timed it. While on hold, the receptionist's voice would occassionally cut in and out. At first, I thought she was trying to talk to me, but no. She was having a personal conversation with another employee at the salon. At the 6 minute mark, I hung up and called back. The extension rang 8 times before she picked up. Yes, I counted. She again asked if she could place me on hold. Seriously. I called to schedule a manicure and was happy to have a next-day appointment. Unfortunately the cosmetologist didn't realize she had an appointment and showed up 15 minutes late. Other than than the late start, the manicure went well. The shellac looks nice and hasn't peeled. Basic shellac manicure was $30, and they don't accept tips. read more
