    My square green acrylics

I was very satisfied with my nail appointment! They had me sit in a chair right away on time didn't have to wait at all. The people were very sweet and welcoming. The lady who did my nails sadly I don't know her name did a fantastic job on cleaning up my cuticles and my nail shape was perfect she definitely took her time to make sure they were flawless. My nail fill costed $51.50. Would reccomend

Fun Halloween nails! Just like the inspiration picture.

I called for a full acrylic set and they were able to give me a appointment almost immediately. The tech I had, Jade, was awesome and did a really great job of listening to what I wanted and executing it. I gave an inspiration picture and she did a reply good job. I got a full set with a hand painted design in under 2 hours for $87. I am very pleased.

If you are not a regular you will not get the time of day from these employees. All three times I have gone in WITH AN APPOINTMENT I have waiting from 45 minutes to an hour and a half for a acrylic fill. I got a full set of acrylics and it only took them 20 minutes, rushed and uneven. I hope to see improvement from this business because they do have good nail services but after today they will loose me and all my friends business and money.

I have been to Pearl nails a few times and have really liked the outcome of my nails every time. The staff is pleasant and welcoming and the environment is clean. Highly recommend!

I've gone here for years, I have my guy even though they are all excellent and talented, they've done any design I've asked for and nailed it. I've gone to many other places and all weren't able to see my vision. They understand what you are saying and make your experience as caring as there busy body's can. They offer you a beverage and are quick. My nails take about 30 minutes for a full set and that's pretty good if you as me, anywhere else I go it's about an hour or more just to put on some polish because they want you to think they are doing good. Here it's a short time with an even better product. I highly recommend them!

This was my second time to the salon, my experience was much better the first time. My first visit to the salon was pleasant, my technician took his time and asked what I wanted, and did a thorough job. My second visit wasn't as nice. Although it was far less busy today, the technician rushed, didn't take my previous set of tips off completely before applying the new ones, didn't ask what length I wanted and didn't make the sides of my coffin shaped nails even. This was due to the fact that his next client was already at the salon, even though I was on time and my appointment was a half hour before hers. I would say this salon is a shot in the dark for service and quality.

This is a great salon for somebody who knows nothing about health code regulations for salons. They reused old nail files and buffers from their pockets, didn't change the head of the dremel between clients, and they didn't put a cloth under your hands. They didn't trim my cuticles or nails before putting on acrylics, nor did they care when they noticed broken skin near my nails. Instead, the tech said it 'might hurt' and went over the bleeding skin with his brush. After this he put the brush back into his drawer. They managed to not only do a really sloppy job on my accent nail, but got hairs stuck in it; then didn't even bother drying my nails completely before I left. In addition to this, I got passed around between four different nail techs because they didn't seem to know how to schedule appointments. All in all I don't recommend Pearl Nails and I won't be going again.

I got a French gel manicure for $43 - and they do a no mess no fuss eyebrow wax for $12. Yes Susan, I tipped - that price doesn't include a tip. The gal was nice and my French lines were straight (only reason I come to a salon because I can't do French to save anything). Nothing was blow-my-mind over the top but you can go drink at Applebees after you're done in the mall. Would it be my go-to spot? Probably not. Would I gamble again for a decent French gel manicure when I am at the mall? Sure!

I was left shocked and embarrassed by my latest visit to Q this afternoon. I recently got a gel mani and pedi and shortly after getting home, I noticed my pink polish had started to turn yellow in ugly blotches across both my nails and toenails. I tried to live with it for a few days because I didn't want to complain but it kept getting worse. I go to the salon very often and I felt they'd understand, especially after paying $122 dollars at my previous appointment just a week prior. I was also taking the time to get something fixed that shouldn't have ever happened in the first place. I was very nice about it all, showed the man at the front my nails and before I could even finish what I was saying, he interrupted me and demanded I tell him who my nail tech was. He was clearly very angry but I assumed he was upset that someone had made a small mistake and had to fix it. A few minutes later, I was seated and the nail tech started fixing them for me. As she was doing so, the man at the front walked over to us and started questioning me, asking me several times if I had gone swimming or shampooed my hair recently. I said no to the swimming, and he started hinting that this was my fault. I was confused but said things happen and I appreciated them switching out the color quick. The nail tech was kind and didn't want to accept my tip so I went to leave cash at the front for her and thank them once more for making this fix. Before I could even finish what I was saying, the man at the front interrupted me again and said that he wouldn't charge me this time but that he would be charging me in the future because it was likely MY FAULT that my nails turned yellow...not a salon error. He was clearly very angry at me and let it be known to me and everyone in the salon. A quick Google search shows that polish turning yellow is actually a result of expired polish or an error in the curing process. He also could have politely asked me these questions when I walked in the salon, not cut me off and wait to chew me out when I am on my way out. I was too shocked to respond and absolutely embarrassed. Berating a LOYAL customer in front of a packed house is bad business. Telling a customer who was kind and patient with THEIR error that it is her fault while all the other customers in the place are watching is also bad business. Sure, they might do a fine job but why would you spend your hard-earned money somewhere they treat their longest and most loyal customers this way? Or any customer at all? I am truly shocked and saddened to have been treated this way, and incredibly embarrassed. There's lots of other options in Duluth where they don't make the customer feel horrible.

The stylist apparently had 20 years of experience, so my daughter went ahead and booked an appointment. At the start of her appointment she discussed with the stylist want she wanted and even showed her a photo of how she wanted it cut, (the photo was her hair from a previous haircut at a different salon). The stylist BUTCHERED her hair. I know some hair stylist will cut curly hair dry, but this stylist didn't even look at her curl pattern she just cut inches off her hair. It looks nothing like the photo she shared when she arrived. She is in tears over this horrendous haircut. All of her beautiful curls are GONE. Definitely will not return and do not recommend this salon.

Two of my nails had bubbles in them. I made her fix one of them, which she did with no attitude. She was very sweet. The guy who did my pedicure was also very sweet. Both very nice kids, which is actually the only reason I gave two stars instead of one. My pedicure was slightly better than my manicure, just because he didn't file my toenails, so they didn't have the chance to be as ragged as the nails on my hands. Crooked French tips again. There was a foot and leg massage involved in the whole thing. He used some aveda lotion I think, and it left my legs and feet very greasy. By the next day, the paint on my nails was already chipping. They used tons of different products...I don't know what all. All kinds of primers and stuff. For nothing. It was all just to give you a "spa" experience, and the end result that I came there for (painted nails) was totally shoddy. $24 for manicure, I don't know how much the pedicure was. Boooooo! Terrible job! They're really nice kids, and they put effort into it, but I think they just don't know what they're doing. Terrible manicure. Terrible, I say!
