On my most recent visit to the QFC in Bothell in the Canyon Park shopping center/area, today Friday 17 November 2023, I came in and decided to go with a bakery item after doing a quick look through of the deli items and seeing the hot food was not yet out for the day. The bakery had a number of cake items by the slice and by the cake. In one of the baked good areas, I noticed boxes labeled for macaron (French cookie) pops (like a cake pop only with a macaron). There were a couple different color/flavor combinations available and I decided on the Meyer lemon macaron pops with pink frosting (like a pink lemonade of sorts). Self check out moved quickly and I was soon on my way with my item. Eating the macaron pops, the Meyer lemon flavor was strong and the frosting perfectly sweet. The item was texturally enjoyable and not hard/stale. It is a repeat item for me. The parking lot was large and the front of the store has been redone compared to what it was approximately 10 to 15 years ago. While busy, there were parking spots available. read more

Visited Starbucks at this location for the first time. Good service, friendly baristas. The food and drink was prepared well. Ordered cranberry bliss bar and gingerbread oat milk chai both very delicious. I ordered out of my comfort zone. I'm glad I did. I'll return the next time in the area. No complaints. Clean Starbucks area. It's easy to find as soon as you walk inside next to produce in the store. read more

The best part about this QFC is the bakery. We have never been disappointed there. From their breads, to their cakes, cookies, pies, and just all kinds of desserts, we've loved every creation we've gotten. Awesome deals on meat and uses the same phone number rewards as Fred Meyer.... But I prefer here over Fred Meyer for groceries. read more

Unhappy with Service at the meat section. I wanted to have the whole chicken cut that had longer use-by date. Since there were already some cut chicken packed that had very sooner use by date. They were reluctant to do the service. After requesting them for this specific reason too., they argued and were not willing to do the service. Instead, they forced me to buy the already cut-packed ones saying the labels had the wrong print dates on them. And I understand if it was too late in the day while I was shopping there. It was past noon around 3:30 ish.pm. read more

This is one of the better QFC locations. In general, QFC is a good grocery store. Kroger's acquisition of it via Fred Meyer several years ago was worrisome, but after an initial meddling and lowering of quality, Kroger has mostly allowed QFC to rebound and be its own thing. Most of the locations are okay, Some are just nicer, better kept, and better stocked than the others. This is one such location. read more

Although on the pricier side of the standard grocery stores, this QFC is one of our regular stops. The location is so convenient. I was also blow away by the beautiful custom bouquet they made for my anniversary! My husband asked for 8 peonies with a pink and white color scheme, and they did an excellent job! Good variety of open flowers and buds and lasted a long time. Most of the floral departments in other grocery stores aren't much to talk about, but QFC is worth a shot for your next floral need. read more

I am so not happy with this QFC! I shopped at this store for many years! All of the checkers that I know and like are all gone including Zach! The rest of the checkers now are so moody and not very friendly. Plus they don't carry a lot of things like they use to do! Plus they only have one check stand open and self checkout! 3-9-19 9:45 PM changing my 5 star review of QFC 18921 Bothell Way NE to a 1 star for all QFC's. All check stands were closed at 9:45pm, no squeaky toy or anything to get a checker for our $200 order. I refuse to put a $200 order through the self-serve. Not Acceptable from a store that was outstanding before Kroger bought them out. There was one checker stuck in the self-serve and one was chatting in the checkstand with a CHECKSTAND CLOSED sign on the conveyor belt. So we left $200 worth of go-backs as a thanks for wasting all that time we spent shopping in this deteriorating store. Also, when we've had an idea or concern we were directed to the online website. Managers used to handle whatever a customer needed. Not anymore - I had to find the site, register and get ignored digitally as well. QFC lost very regular customers after decades of loyal patronage to other stores in the area. I used to do my little part and try to keep this store open. I hope this dog shuts its doors. read more

This was our go to store for all our grocery needs. I usually do a pick up order for fast and safe check out during the pandemic. However, on 1/17/21 approximately at about 4:25 pm, a very tall customer not wearing a mask was openly walking around and shopping. He then went to check himself out at self checkout and the employee manning the area didn't say anything to him, in fact he went over to assist in a glitch of some sort. When I called to ask about the mask policy, the person didn't seem worried and told me to contact corporate, that a person can claim a medical condition (b.s.) and a manager will allow it. Which means that this store is setting a precedence for maskless shoppers and endangering the safety of the public. Qfc removed all paper bags for filling bulk grocery items . Plastic bags were outlawed because of the damage to the environment. So they placed them at check out but removed paper bags from the bulk purchase areas. Clearly this stores management couldn't care less about the world around them or the concerns of the people it serves. I walk to this QFC often (almost daily) and have started just going out of my way and driving to fred meyer down the road instead. There is an Asian woman that works here who sometimes stands near the carts at the front door and on two different occasions she has followed me around the store as I'm shopping like I'm going to steal. I used to work retail so I know what pretending to do go-backs but actually following someone around looks like. This could be a wake up call for me that I apparently dress like a crackhead in my free time haha. Today however I'm going to a wedding and popped in last minute to get a gift bag and a cigar. I don't smoke and I've never bought a cigar before so this was a new experience for me. I walk to the liquor corner and see the cigars are locked in a case so I look around for any sort of assistance button or if an employee may notice me waiting. I wait a minute but nobody notices me so I approach a ginger haired man at the self checkout and explain that I need help in the liquor corner. "What do you need?" He says. "A cigar." I reply. He goes "Oh, any one of us can help you with that." Which is like great! Either you help me or call over someone who can? But instead he begrudgingly walks over and gets the cigar for me and I go to grab it to hop in line but instead he doesn't allow me too which I guess I can understand as it requires ID but I wish I could have gone to a different clerk. The whole checkout process he was condescending about how I was SUPPOSED to ask for the cigar which is fine, now I know for next time but the way he said it made me feel like a bother. He even had me check for him if anyone needed help since "when things like this happen, everything goes wrong at once." Which was my last straw. I told him I didn't mean to be a bother and I was just seeking help. He didn't reply and I took my receipt and turned to go only to bump into an armed security guard who was directly behind me while I checked out. Apparently a young woman with no backpack and not even a purse is a threat to this QFC So be warned that even if you are a normal person who shops at a store regularly (spending your hard earned money on every single item you walk out with) and has never stolen, this QFC will make you feel like a criminal!! read more

QFC isn't a go to store for me because of prices. It's just too expensive for me to shop there for a big family. They do however have items worth running in for, like deli sandwiches, salads, etc. Pretty much anything in the deli. Also the sushi there is made fresh, so if I need a quick lunch I can grab some Hawaiian tuna rolls, or salmon. They have a good variety for "fast food". They also have a variety of grab and go items. Snacks, burritos, dips, sweets, etc. I like being able to run in, run out. The store was very clean, employees very friendly (especially the sweet girl working in the sushi department). They have a good selection of breads, cookies, cakes, pastries, all right by the Starbucks, which is connected to them. Definitely stop in for sushi again...and sandwiches. read more

There are no disinfecting wipes or other form of disinfectant at the shopping carts in the middle of the corona virus epidemic here at one of the epicenters. I told the attendant at customer service who told me they knew it was out, and they'd get some there. (There were wipes at his and each checkout.) I said even if it has to be spray and paper towels, we needed it out right away. There were few people in the store, no lines longer than 2. When I left an hour later, there were still no wipes st the carts. read more

You know what rubs me the wrong way? Grocery stores who keep stuff behind glass that you can't get to after a certain time. I was desperate to find some "gourmet" cupcakes for a gift around 9pm and the bakery was shut down. The cupcakes were just staring at me in the case. I wish they let other employees grab them for people. I ended up buying the regular bakery cupcakes, and of course, my mom was happy but I know she would of stuffed her face with the nicer, gourmet version if I had gotten to the store earlier. I also get rubbed the wrong way because I hate the hunt of QFC, you realllly need to be on the top of your game to make sure they aren't robbing you blind with prices, some things are way overpriced, other things are cheaper than Safeway. Not my go-to grocery store at all, I rather be at Whole Foods for those prices. I will forever always be in love with their turkey and havarti sandwich though. read more

This is my favorite supermarket in the greater Seattle area. All the employees are always very friendly and always willing to help with a smile on their faces. QFC, as other reviewers mentioned, is slightly higher quality than average supermarkets and always have a great selection. If you're into wine like we are, they have a wonderful section and many weekends have free tasting. read more

I used to love this store but recent problems with hygiene of the staff have me so disgusted, that even though within an 1/8 of a mile, I will never return. The managers are helpful and friendly, but the other staff... a week ago a checker was coughing directly on my items as he scanned them. I complained to the manager and got the items replaced before leaving the store. Today, the same checker coughed on my items and to add insult to injury, the bagger wiped her secretions from her runny red nose on her hands and sleeves, then handled my food. I again complained to manager who was also disgusted. I am going to report them to the health board. DISGUSTING read more

This store has gone so far downhill since we started shopping there in 2008. I miss the checkers and staff that actually cared and provided more than just a quick checkout. They used to treat us like people and not just another face to get through. After the way I was treated there today I can say I will never go back. PCC may cost more but if you are going to work in customer service maybe you should remember your customers have feelings too. read more

QFC is a slightly higher end supermarket and seems to have better quality and better selection. The people in the meat dept. are a bit chatty but at least they are having fun. Some nice things: -great wine selection -friendly staff, they always have a smile -the suishi guy they have now is very good and creative Tip: after 8pm they reduce the price of their roasted chickens significantly and sometimes you can get a whole roast chicken for $1.99 Bonus TIp: they have reduced box of donuts for $1.99 as well after 8 pm -- please don't tell the local police about this :) Bad thing: I don't like all the various charities that setup shop outside the doors. I don't normally shop here but I wanted to take advantage of a coupon for Infarms herbs. Not only was the selection poor but the produce guy was wearing his mask on his chin. So I guess the store doesn't care about infecting its customers. The coupon was only honored for 5 of 7 of the herbs, despite saying it was for an unlimited number of items. 2 cashiers at rush hour is the new norm. Never any rotisserie chicken or other deli (hot) chicken at 6pm - prime time for work people to stop in to grab food for family. Have been repeatedly at this hour looking for chicken and it's gone. Spoke with Ann, the longtime asst. front end person who shrugs shoulders and looks up from counting the cash and says, "oh, really? Did you ask them back there? Wonder why they don't have anything out. That's odd." Then back to the cash counting. A joke There used to be great people at this store and no sign of any of them in a long time. I've moved on to other local stores and will drive a mile further to get to them and avoid QFC like the plague. read more

Very disappointed. I stopped in to get lunch deal from the HOT deli case today. Got the tia rise, mixed vegetables, and the Generals chicken. The only thing hot was the mixed vegetables. The rice was lukewarm and the chicken was cold. VERY NASTY...... Wasted my money. read more

A few weeks ago I decided at the last minute that we really needed mini muffins for a morning party we were throwing. I called the bakery and spoke with Amy and asked "could you do a platter with 72 mini muffins in the next 45 min?" To which she replied "sure! I'll just stop what I'm doing and get on it." And she did. 45 min later the platter was in my hand! What awesome customer service! (By the way, everyone at the party commented on how yummy the muffins were). The staff here are always friendly and helpful, so we drive a little further to come to this store. On a side note: I recently learned that Kroger (who own QFC) do a lot of charity work and donation BUT they refuse to acknowledge it in their advertising because they feel it should come from a desire to do good not from a desire to promote their business. I have to say... I had a groupon for a dozen QFC 'Delicious' cupcakes (at the bakery, not in the boxes)... and I'm impressed! Although the flavour's were basic (carrot, red velvet, chocolate, vanilla) they were pretty damn good!! 3 days later, the cake is still moist. The chocolate with chocolate was a fudge frosting instead of a butter cream, and it was amazing! If you have a craving for a basic chocolate or carrot cake cupcake, dont feel like venturing out to a cupcake specialty store, it's worth it! read more
