Still has a small seating area outside of the registers, but no jianbing (Chinese crepe) station. There is still bakery and cooked food sections, but a bit smaller. Same bright white interior with the green trims as most other T&Ts. Even though it's not as big as the Bellevue store, I like the Lynnwood location a little more since there's usually more discounted cooked items. Probably because this location is not as busy and is in a less affluent neighborhood. I would usually stop by the get some Chinese groceries and a cheap meal if I'm passing nearby.

Yes, the behemoth opened in Bellevue back on 12/5/24 and this smaller one took over the former Sprouts in Lynnwood on 11/13/25. Since then, they have opened two more sites in California too. Armed with gift cards from The College Friend, The Homie and I made a spontaneous first visit to the Lynnwood store (9/30/26). I like that it is so well organized, bright, and clean. I really liked the variety of the produce, items for dim sum and hot pot, sauces & spices, snacks, meat & fish areas, cooking gear, and especially the hot food, ready to go entrees/platters, and bakery sections. We visited on a weekday mid afternoon, so parking, shopping, and checkout was easy peasy. There's even onsite seating to enjoy one's paid purchases. We demolished the pork belly and BBQ steamed buns. Interesting to note, there's chopsticks, compostable forks & spoons, straws, but no napkins or paper towels available. I have visited similar stores in North Seattle and Shoreline, but this one seems to be much more Russian focused and has a wider selection of kvass, sweets, teas, and coffees. During this first visit, I purchased a smaller frozen loaf of Lithuanian rye bread, some cheese slices, chocolate wafers, and a Russian version of Nutella. I was the lone customer during this initial visit, but then eventually there were other individuals and family groups onsite. It was good to see that this spot had their regulars and with their usual requested deli items. It'll be fun to bring The Homie here during the upcoming academic year, as he will be studying first year Russian at the university. Nice find to add to my other stops, European Foods in North Seattle and Euro Deli Lakomka in Shoreline.

Because I had also stocked up at the other market in Tacoma, I noticed similarities in the product availability. However, I was able to find other things of interest especially in the smoked meats, condiments, chocolates, and biscuits areas. Every time I visit, I pick up a fruit or vegetable that I haven't tried before. Today it was a small Korean melon with bright yellow skin. The guys who work the fish counter are personable and knowledgeable. The man who helped us made a good suggestion for the type of fish to use in a soup, and didn't grumble when, near closing, he had to start up the equipment to cut it for us. The parking lot can be busy but I just choose to park farther away from the door. Also, try to go during an off hour--the veggie section (and the store in general) can get crowded. I suggest stopping by the deli section at the front of the store to see what treats are available. Last time I tried a tasty steamed cake wrapped in banana leaf. Another tip is to jump on specials as soon as you see them. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up an entire pack of oxtails for 1.99 a pound. I went back a few days later and they were gone. I still bought oxtails, for up to $2.00 less a pound than other stores. Lastly, double check the expiration dates on prepackaged foods. Every once and a while you'll find one that is past it's prime.
