A friend recommended Carniceria Los Compadres in Everett, WA, and it did not disappoint. This store is a good size and offers a wide variety of selections. There's a Taqueria in the back, where you can order delicious food, and a butcher that provides all sorts of different cuts of meat. The fresh produce section is well-stocked, and you can find everything you need to make authentic dishes. I decided to try the Taqueria and ordered several different tacos and a tamale. The tacos were particularly impressive, with the shells crisped to perfection. The pork tamale was also quite tasty. As they do make fresh tortillas you're able to call in and request the size and how many you're looking for in the morning. Overall, Carniceria Los Compadres is a great spot for anyone looking for authentic Mexican ingredients and dishes in the Everett area.
