I came to the Lynnwood Trader Joe's this past Saturday the 27th of February 2021. I had been working through some stressful stuff for over a year and promised myself that when I had worked through it I would treat myself to some of my Trader Joe's and Safeway favorite items. Friday I finished working through them, so I was Trader Joe's bound in the morning. After stopping and getting a few things at the nearby Safeway I was on my way to Trader Joe's. The item I was most excited to see if they had was a Lemon Chicken & Arugula Salad. It was my favorite salad from Trader Joe's when I lived in California but I had not yet been able to find it in the Shoreline area. So I decided to go to a different Trader Joe's, this one, to see if I could find it. And they had it! I was so excited that I also decided to splurge and buy my two favorite hot sauces from Trader Joe's, a Green Dragon hot sauce and a Sriracha hot sauce. They also had the other items I was looking for, a Cobb Salad, a frozen tarte, and frozen cherries. Everything was as delicious as I remember and I enjoyed it all. A well earned reward for working through my personal stuff. One of the things I love about Trader Joe's is size of the offerings. Take the frozen tarte (similar to a pizza) for example, the full tarte was only 580 calories, tasty, and satisfying. I have found many of the products of Trader Joe's to be this way, satisfying and exquisitely well executed in terms of portion control. And I have been able to find more than one tasty healthy item in different food categories. Nice to have options to choose from when eating healthy. Prices here are a little higher than they were in California, but not significantly so. The store is well laid out and easy to navigate. Hand sanitizer/cleaning supplies are currently abundantly available due to COVID-19. The workers were very friendly and kind in my experience. The parking lot is very large, though it is shared with neighboring businesses so I could see it being difficult to find a spot depending on what day/time one visits. read more

Did not have a great experience today 5/17 at 10:30-11am. I got to the front of the line and Oscar, the male in the turquoise hoodie and grey hat, allowed two customers to cut in front of me... he claim they were there before, but I was waiting in line a long time and did not see them. I found this very rude, unnecessary and the way he spoke to me afterwards was very condescending. I frequent this location often but this experience makes me not want to come back. read more

I have had a few issues at the Trader Joes in Lynnwood, WA. Three weeks ago I was charged twice for a large tub of plain yogurt, and another time I was double charged for Atlantic salmon fillets. These are not cheap items, and I had to go back to get refunded. I am not sure what is going on with their scanners, but during busy times the employees seem to be rushing so much that mistakes are happening. It feels sloppy and is disappointing, especially since I have never had problems like this at other Trader Joes locations. I usually shop at the Bellingham location as it's closest to those living in vancouver. This store feels way bigger than that! Selection wise, I also feel it has more varieties too. I'm super sad not to find the fried onion pieces which I got last month. Guess it's only available during thanksgiving and now we are in Christmas season. I found crispy jalapeño pieces and that's so good! It is spicy though. I love the plants out front and there's mistletoe too. I was surprised to see Harry and David pears. I love their products! It is a great store to shop with spacious aisles and neatly laid out items. Parking is out front in the lot. Watch out for people walking as I noticed many do not bother to check for traffic/cars. read more

I don't know where to start in regard to the horrific treatment I receive when I shop at the Lynnwood, WA location. As an Autistic woman, I look and act differently, and rather than accepting these differences, your store staff goes above and beyond to mock, harass, make fun, off, and harass me. Not unlike other Trader Joe's, this store among the larger, staff are friendly and helpful, food is presented and organized well, and they have an extra half-aisle of frozen goods! We love their new items, we love their old items, we love everything about Trader Joe's - except for the over-abundance of plastic packaging. Once they come up with ways to package their food in compostable (not plastic) containers, we would love to shop there even more! The also have a crab plush stuffie that children can find to earn a lollipop or stickers on their way out. read more

Trader Joe's you're wonderful but quite high on prizes, but you have so many excellent vegetables and fruits and so many products that don't have gluten and all that nasty chemicals in it so I would say Trader Joe's you've done a great job and your store is absolutely beautiful and clean and nice. I love your flowers. I love your employees and I love your store. We will be back over and over again I say, you get 10 stars I can't give you that so you get the maximum. I love Trader Joe's and I especially love this location. It's probably my favorite location. The aisles are wide, and the people are very helpful. They even had some snacks today which was great because I was starved when I got there. They helped me find the macaroni almonds I was looking for and Elizabeth who checked me out was friendly and cheerful. They had everything I needed and it was easy to get in and get out and get back to Edmond's check it out you'll like it. read more

This place is excellent when you need to stock up on frozen foods to prepare for the apocalypse. They offer a wide variety of fresh foods and snacks. I would not recommend the microwaveable burritos since the expiration date on those is from 2019. They could cause you to have diarrhea. I suggest the staff remove them. This review is for frozen foods only and sweet snacks. A+. Ps I recommend a nice deep freezer powered by a backup generator when preparing for Armageddon. Have a great day! read more

I love Trader Joe's, but as someone who's worked retail. I get having to stock the shelves to keep up with sell through. Yet EVERY single time I'm in this lynnwood location they are ALWAYS stocking the shelves all times of the day. Which is slightly inconvenient, being that the aisles are small. There's an excessive amount of customers and then getting around their back of house carts is frustrating. Also staff is always standing in groups talking which makes it hard to navigate when you just want to get in and out asap. I've never encountered this at the totem lake location but always in the lynnwood. The staff is friendly and helpful but just the constant navigating around them and other patrons is tough. I will continue to frequent this location as it is the largest and convenient. Just have to prepare myself each time. read more

I love Trader Joe's and I'd been "planning" a trip for months. When I finally got around to it, I filled my basket to the top. I love their customer service and the store is nicely laid out; not cramped like some stores (I'm talking to you, Big Lots). The employees are really friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised that my total was only $109, because I was sure it was going to be a lot more. I would love to give five stars, but I wasn't happy with all of the stuff I purchased. Mostly it's my fault because I was just trying things out, but some things were disappointing to the point where I couldn't eat them. I'll be back of course because I love Trader Joe's. I'll just be a little more selective about what I buy. That being said, I bought a pint of their double chocolate cookie dough ice cream. It was to die for. So good. But beware, it has a lot of calories; especially if you eat the entire container. Oops. Did I just admit that out loud? read more

I have been shopping here for years and the older location across the street. Customer service is always amazing and the environment is always clean feeling. Whenever I have gone to Trader Joe's during the pandemic they have a strict policy of only allowing a certain amount of people + everyone wearing a mask. I love this store bcs they are so organized. The new Covid distancing works out smoothly in my opinion. Their carts are all cleaned before and after use. Also, they don't encourage anyone to bring their own bags . They still want to bag my groceries for me bcs I'm a loyal customer. At the other stores I feel like I work there after spending a bunch, i still have to bag my groceries. I don't mind doing if and when I have very little groceries. Otherwise, I'm gonna need help after 8 items. Just saying... This place have everything I like and are always packed so neatly. The only downside is the waiting game at the entrance door breathing hard and gasping for oxygen under these masks. So unhappy with this look. I don't like wearing this at work and not much more out anywhere! Who did this to us!? read more

I love this Trader Joe's! Nice wide aisles. Fully stocked shelves. Great staff. I wish it were closer to my house and if I had to ding it on anything I would say the parking lot is a little dangerous but that's not their fault. It may get even worse when the new Chick-A- Fila is opened but luckily that won't be anytime too soon. And don't bother going into the Dollar Tree next door. It's disgusting. read more

I'm so happy this new location has a much easier to access parking lot than the previous one across the street. For some reason this makes it seem like so much less of a hassle to get in and out. It's still frequently crowded and I continue to wish they had later hours, but it's great that they always have samples available, which seem to always include coffee as well. There's always employees around to ask for assistance if you need it. I'm always happy with the quality of the food here, and love that they are always coming out with new vegan items. I am thankful that they pay attention to what they sell and try to focus on whole food options. I love the dill pickle popcorn and wish it was an all the time item. Some of the salsas are quite delicious as well. I'm always tempted by their grab and go section. I love the produce section and feel like the prices are better here than at other local grocery stores. This is my go to place for salad ingredients. It's also great that they call up additional cashiers when needed. read more

4-1/2 stars! Where else can you find organic corn/wheat tortillas 10-pack for 2.99? That is only one of many unique items on my grocery list that are exclusive to Lynnwood Trader Joe's. Organic limes 1 pound bag for 2.99; a bargain. #2 (small) paper cone coffee filters are still reasonably priced. A hard-to-find item. However, the price recently changed from 1.99 to 2.59. (Prices have skyrocketed everywhere since 2021.) Many other outstanding buys, including pasture eggs 4.99, uncured bacon 8 oz. 4.99. Most of the aisles are wide enough, but there may be a pallets of stock to be put on the shelves. Then the ambiance is like playing dodge cars with other shoppers. I'd like to ask management to carefully schedule restocking during slow times. Did you know that Trader Joe's has its own brand of several liquors? The prices are low and the quality of good (enough). If you need help there is always someone at the customer service counter who is willing to help or find someone available to help. I have never experienced a lack of cashiers at checkout. Yay! The other customers are almost always friendly and fun to socialize with. Adds to the positive experience. Trader Joe's has become a staple in our household when we go on trips. We normally get a slew of orders and requests from local Hawaiians: Buffalo jerkey, dried mandarin oranges, dried mangos, cookie butter, cranberry dunkers, Thai chile lime pistachios and Marcona almonds with rosemary. If you find your aisles devoid of these things, blame the people from Hawaii! In fact, writing this is making me wanting to rip open a package of dried mangoes right now! Ok..that's better. Another reason I like to hit up the TJ's in town is for the mere fact that I want to have a glass of wine on my vacation, and this location had a bunch to choose from! Super ironic thing? I left without buying a single bottle. Not because of booze or wine snobbery but because I knew I wouldn't be in the mood for a glass of wine until mid-week, which complicates things, because I gotta go shopping for wine at a different location later during the week. Call me weird. And FYI if you are looking to use the restroom, it's in the back. There are two back there, one is further down the hall. New store! This TJ has moved locations and is now across the street diagonally from the former Lynnwood location where the Safeway use to be, in the same strip mall as Joanne's. Brand new, opened on January 25, 2019, this store is HUGE. It's the biggest TJ I've ever seen and the parking lot matches. Finally, a TJ in the Seattle area with sufficient parking. Going to be coming here all the time. read more

This is a new Trader Joe's, seemingly having moved recently from across the street. It definitely has that new store feeling, lots of produce available, and the shelves were well stocked, and clean. The staff were helpful in guiding people around the store (seemed to be a lot of lost people there!). Lots of parking in the huge parking lot. Wish there were some signs around the area instructing people that the location has moved, would make it easier to get to! read more

Even though it was busy, our overall trip was delightful. The staff are always friendly to speak with & make the experience worth it. I don't know her name, but in the morning time my partner & I went to the "Feed the Joe" station where Gorgonzola pasta was being sampled. The lady who helped us was lovely, makin us laugh & it made me buy a pack it was so good & Micayla our cashier was even better. Fast, efficient and helpful. The store itself? It looked so organized & clean, like nobody had even been in the store yet. 10/10 if I could! I switched from Safeway to Trader Joe's, best prices & best quantity. $230 every 2-3 weeks to $130/$150 instead. read more

Trader Joe's is always great! You can never go wrong with TJ's! Oh wait, if you want to hear a funny story... One time, I went in casually and noticed a stand full of bananas that said 19 cents each, right? For some reason I thought that meant 19 cents a bundle and I'm like WHAT THE HECK, WHY ISN'T EVERYONE GOING FOR THE BANANAS?! So I normally don't even eat bananas that much but I quickly grabbed 5 bundles! Then I walk literally 2 steps forward and realize the ORGANIC ones are 21 or 22 cents each? I can't remember the exact amount but I sure do remember the 19 cents. I go about my shopping with 5 bundles of organic bananas thinking they are 20 something cents a bundle, and I end up at the register finally and as the lady counts EACH banana, she rings it up and just the bananas alone, I think I was at $9-10, I'm like woah woah woah, I thought each BUNDLE was 20 something cents? She laughs and says no and I just feel extremely embarrassed. Aside from those misleading bananas that one time, I totally stock up on their vegan waffles because their like 1.99 a box and it's the easiest and quickest breakfast I can have at home before going to work by 6:30 in the morning! I really like all their other products such as the beefless ground beef! My boyfriend wanted to make spaghetti one time and complained I don't eat meat and so I quietly bought the beefless meat and he cooked with it and couldn't even tell the difference! I think this shop might have less variety when it comes to vegan alternatives but they have a good handful to select from. read more

I have been coming ro TJ for years and mainly for the holy Lemon chicken and arugula salad with quinoa. I never walk out without that salad. I recently tried their ice cream and fall in love with the pitaschio ice cream. The best Trader Joe's in the area! Easy to get in and out of the parking lot, and plenty of parking. The store itself is roomier than most and items are easy to find and in good supply. With recent social distancing rules, the store is limiting the number of people they will allow in, but the line to get in moved fast, and I never felt rushed once inside the store. One of the best things about TJ's besides the great people who work there, is the variety of items, and invariably I leave with something new and unusual. I love that they offer seasonal items! read more

They moved! They're bigger. .... However, I'm pretty sure that nothing has been added to the merchandise line up. As far as I can tell it's the same merchandise but just with wider isles. Not that I'm complaining about the wider isles. I like wider isles. I don't feel like I'm in a roller derby every time I walk into the store. ... But, I still think this Trader Joes isn't as good as the stores in California. When I found out they were going to take over the old Safeway I was overjoyed. Finally, a full sized Trader Joes! Nope. Oh well. I guess they don't think we can support a full sized store. Whatever. I'm still a huge fan of Joe, he has a few items that I'm addicted to and that can only be found in his freezer section. Besides getting a full sized store in this area, my only other request is to put one in Mill Creek or Bothell. TJ's is one of my favorite stores. Most products are consistently good. I do however wish they reduced their packaging in the produce department, Be environment friendly. The spinach paneer is excellent as well as many other frozen meals. Also the employees are super friendly and nice. I recently wasn't feeling well and they brought me a cold bottled water, as well as putting my cart in the cooler until I could finish the check out! They have all my future business read more

Came here looking for their own value-minded scotch and single malt but couldn't find any. No liquor whatsoever, state law perhaps? But who could resist their two buck chuck, not me! While the chardonnay's not too dry, the rosé's over the top syrupy sweet. But for $2.99 it'd just be plain wrong to complain. read more

On a recent trip to Seattle, I detoured and stopped by this TJ on my way back home to Vancouver. This one is a bit smaller than other locations, but they still have most of the same products as the other stores. EXCEPT... my favourite sweet and spicy peach salsa (which is why I docked a star). My sole purpose for this TJ trip, besides re-stocking my TJ groceries, was to buy 5 jars of this peach salsa, and when I got there, the staff said that they don't carry that salsa at this location. No lie, I was butt hurt. I tried to find another TJ in the area, but the next closest one was 30 minutes away. So, I sucked it up and just continued my shopping spree and decided to get the peach salsa next time I visited the States. Besides the peach salsa, my experience here was wonderful. I found everything I wanted very easily. All the rest of my favourites were in stock: soy chorizo, cauliflower pizza crust, sweet potato gnocchi, etc. I was still a happy camper when I walked out their doors. Also, did I mention in a previous TJ review that all the staff are so freakin' kind and funny? I always have a great conversation with the cashiers on my way out, this location was no different. Props to you TJ for your wonderful hiring process! Now that I know this location doesn't carry my beloved peach salsa, I'll probably skip this one next time and make the 30 min drive to the next one. Don't let my stop you from visiting this location though! I don't live in this area and I'm just crazy for my peach salsa (if you couldn't tell by now). It's very difficult for me to think that anyone could give Trader Joe's anything but a 5-star review. Every person I know either shops there, or wishes there was one closeby so that they could shop there. Everything with the Trader Joe's logo you can trust to be excellent in every department: value, flavor, quantity, etc. There are very few exceptions to this, and when there are, they usually carry a different brand to give shoppers what they need. For a grocery store, it's got quite a nice theme and atmosphere. It doesn't feel cold and cookie cutter like a Safeway or Fred Meyers (though, they are 'cookie cutter' by definition). Their employees are always friendly and personable. They must have wonderful management because every store I've been to is just near-perfection and their employees always seem happy and productive. The only caveat is that they don't carry as many different items as a larger-name grocery store. But they're constantly expanding their inventory; at that, they're being innovative with what they're introducing, too. If you don't shop here, I feel bad for you. read more

The three stars are for the items and prices at Trader Joe's. I always find good and interesting items for very fair prices. The eggs with the green label are my favorite from anywhere and I often stop in just for them. That said, access to this store is not good. A couple of months ago I found myself disabled (hopefully, temporarily) dealing with pain and mobility issues, needing to use a walker. Well, it has been an eye opener. Access to this store is not friendly to people who use assistive devices. The building is built on a slope, thus the street is on a slope and some of the disabled parking spaces are uneven. I've had trouble getting into the store and getting through the store in part because of the physical barriers, but also in part due to clueless employees like the one I encountered last time I was in the store. He was stocking produce, and had a large, tiered cart full of supplies. He left the cart to one side and then leaned himself against the produce shelves, expecting me to wind myself and my walker through the small space he left, instead of putting himself on the side with the cart. Just one example, but there are others from this store specifically. The last time I was at the store, I didn't go in, because the only disabled parking spot was in front of the Dollar Store, so I could choose between somehow getting up the stairs or walking in the street. I just left. The past few months have been educational and I've found which stores make it easier for people dealing with mobility issues and those who don't, and TJ is right at the top of the list of those who don't. read more

A grand use of space despite the fact that there where a lot of people in the store the trip to this new location was quite the success.
