Not so tidy or organized at this QFC, for some reason the shelves behind the Deli/bakery were messed up, as items were not in the section where they belong to. Employees busy chatting as they idling around, showing no potential efforts to improve it. The cashier didn't even hand me the receipt, glad I reminded him for it. I know things can be harder during corona times , but you guys really letting the store going downhill. Did not see cashiers/ grocery handlers wearing masks or gloves. Empty sanitizers.

This is too acknowledge the great work and effort baker Hilary, the great awesome cake maker at QFC, Factoria in Bellevue. She has been doing my Anniversary cakes every year which come out PERFECT! She just did my Daughters 21st Birthday cake on 9/14 and we loved it. Thanks so much for taking the time to respond to all my questions. We will be calling you again, soon!

Odd position to put him, furthermore he couldn't speak English so I couldn't understand him anyways. Thats the bad. The good is the lady in the deli spoke perfect English and was very nice and didnt act like talking to me was an imposition. Later I was lost again and there was a nice older lady and even though she couldn't speak English she understood me and got me where I needed to go. Now that's awesome. Both her and the deli lady both said have a nice day as well. Those ladies are doing it right!

Robert's attitude came across as rude, impatient, and unhelpful when I was trying to complete my checkout. Rather than feeling like a normal customer-service interaction, I felt uncomfortable because of the way I was spoken to and treated. The purpose of fast checkout is to make the process quicker and more convenient, but the experience at the registers made it unnecessarily unpleasant. I understand that employees can have stressful or busy days, but customers should still be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I hope management reviews what happened and reminds staff that professionalism and respectful communication are important, especially when interacting with customers at the checkout. I'm sharing this feedback because I hope the store can improve both the fast-checkout experience and the overall level of customer service.

You can choose from a variety of fishes as well. They were pretty fresh and yummy. The guy working there was really nice. He had a lot of advice and suggestions. The place is literally a fish market so not a dine in place. Parking is ample. Otherwise, it's pretty quiet and calm. The stuff is sometimes pricey but when they do deals like this, it's worth it. Will probably be back for their sushi and sashimi special as well.

But the lunch omakase special is what I really wanted I think. But even so. The poke bowl was mixed. I have to unfortunately knock off the stars/taste because the rice I got was literally the worst rice I've ever had touching raw fish. The rice was like hard and stale. I even had a clump that looked like it was the burnt part from leaving it on the cooker for too long and it couldn't bite it. I know this place is for the fish, but there's a bare minimum expectation on rice quality. And the fish itself was good? Maybe cuz it's the poke and not the omakase (so mixed chopped pieces) but there were pieces that tasted super fresh and delicious and then there were pieces that had so much tendon I couldn't bite through it. The folks there were super nice and friendly especially since I had no idea what to order. Just wish I was more delighted by the meal, especially cuz it was like $18 poke bowl. I'll give it another try with hopes it's better next time.

So no problems there. But since we were here, decided to get something I've been wanting for a while. On a visit to a Miami's Whole Foods, noticed that they sell Golden Osetra Caviar from TSAR NICOULAI ($94.99 for an ounce). Like some other sale items, there is more of a discount if Prime member, so got the item for $76.99. In the same area, there are caviar accompaniments like blinis and creme fraiche, so got some of that too. Self checkout was easy: able to use the Amazon app to generate a barcode for my account, and was able to use the Amazon credit card to pay for it. The receipt was sent directly via email, but printing is possible as well. Well...the caviar ended up being not good even though the expiration date was in May (2 months out): mushy and tasted a bit like mud. My daughter and I looked online to see if that was what it was supposed to taste like, and decided that it was not...something in the supply chain had ruined it. Returning it the same day was hassle-free, with the employee just asking the reason for the return, and returning the amount back to my credit card. Don't do food returns much, so wanted to give props to Whole Foods for making it easy for a valid reason.
