Parking hasn't been a real problem for us when coming. Except if you are looking a spot for PetSmart! Unfortunately, Trader Joe's almost always share parking lots :S What I like from yhis location in particular is that always carry stuff that is sale out in other locations. Staff is always friendly. I love that from Trader Joe's. I guess they take care of their people :D They know all the isles, and products! I love all their seasonal products. Honestly, I come here because I work down the street, and for all the right reasons, they are a go to, for a quick snack, a lunch, a dinner (that needs to be cooked), or something else that is likely a surprise and delight. The service here, like almost every TJs out there, is good, solid, and they will help you. The food selection is on par with basically every other store of the same size, and there is parking here... or at least the lot isn't small and confusing. it's large and ample. Located in the Overlake Crossing strip mall in Bellevue, WA, Trader Joe is one of the anchor stores, all sharing a decent size parking lot. It's very similar in size and layout to the other multitude of TJ's that we've been to. It's within walking distance to the apartment complex we are staying in, but THAT close, so had to make sure we limited our purchases to what we could comfortably carry back (thus ignoring the frozen meals that we always seem to get when visiting any Trader Joe's). Because things don't go on sale at TJ's and their selection for a particular item is very limited, it's always a balancing act to decide what to purchase on a visit. Did pick up some bagged salads and salad dressings, along with things that are distinct (I like their candied pecans and pineapple salsa, and of course their single price bananas at $0.23 a piece). Didn't buy some toiletries we needed (like toilet paper and dryer sheets). They don't carry and name-brand items, except when it comes to alcohol. They had an OK selection, but being here in Seattle, wanted to try a local beer. Found a six pack of Rainier Lager for $7.50, 16oz...pretty good deal considering. It tastes just like what a mass produced American Lager should taste like, though it was surprisingly light (and weak) considering it's not considered a light beer (141 calories). Did a little research to learn it is no longer being brewed in Seattle (is owned by the Pabst Brewing Company and the brewing being outsourced to MolsonCoors in California). Wouldn't seek it out, but certainly drinkable, especially with food. read more

French and Italian wine -Exclusive and regular one are best price. Best prices on many items. [Bad] Vegs and fruits are bad in Summer time. Due to long long storage time, frightening looking veg and fruits are very common in Summer. Even if it looks all right on the shelve, they spoil or rot faster these days. This Trader Joes is the textbook Trader Joes. Staff here are shot up with happiness and will eagerly help you if you're needing assistance. They will readily engage you in small talk at check out. The store is maintained pretty well. Staff double as stock and organization to cashier and bagger. They do it well here and the flow is pretty good. Nothing never really ever seems out of stock here. The store is kept clean and signage in the right place. There is a staff member in pretty much every aisle working on something so you're never far from help if you need it. The store isn't terribly big so that kind of helps too. Checkout is smooth and the parking lot, though shared with a few other stores isn't too crazy. The wine selection features of course Trader Joe's brand as well as an assortment of beers. What I like is is the mix and match - create your own pack area they have. Solid Trader Joes I'm sure is enjoyed by regulars in the area. read more

Not only they've been my favorite grocery store of all times, they've also aced it during covid! I love Trader Joe's unique selection of items imported from all over the world. From cheese, to snacks, beer, and even frozen foods/desserts, there is always something new to explore and get excited about! During Covid, they've done such a good job managing inventory that we never felt they ran out of anything. Even when there was a scarcity of hand sanitizers and toilet papers, they had it available limited to one per family so everyone gets a chance to have one. So many great things at Trader Joe's! You can really find true gems. The frozen chocolate croissants for example are outstanding, let proof overnight and bake in the morning, better than the ones you get at cafes. Decent cheese selection, salami and prosciuttos (not freshly cut, but decent), veggies, ok frozen pizzas, and many other things. They seasonally have an amazing all butter puff pastry, really good stuff. It'd be a sad life without Trader Joe's. read more

This Trader Joe's in Bellevue next to Walgreen's opened up about a month ago replacing the previous store just down the street. The old location seemed small and old compared to many of the new TJ locations that have opened up in past years. The new location is similar to the Redmond branch and has an almost identical layout. The parking situation seems a little better at this location. Though it seems to be a bit more challenging on the weekends. I expect it will become tougher as the holiday season progresses. Though they are pretty much the same, I still prefer the Redmond location just slightly better. I think they could use some additional help at the checkout. It seemed so busy that I ended up bagging my own items. Usually, there is a bagger. Overall, I like the newness of this store. It is bigger and brighter making for a better shopping experience overall. Though the checkout situation and the ability to get customers in and out of the store quickly could be improved. read more

I love Trader Joe's! I've never had a bad experience and the only difference I see between locations is the size. This location is decently sized, very clean and provide all the of awesome Trader Joe snacks that I like. Might I suggest the Partially Popped Popcorn, Popcorn in a Pickle, Frozen Mandarin Chicken, and Thai Lime & Chili Cashews...just to name a few! You may not be able to find everything you need here on your shopping trip, as the options are somewhat limited. But you can find affordable prices on organic ingredients. The staff is super friendly, from the girl handing out the samples, the man walking around who wished me Happy Holidays and gave me a piece of chocolate, to the cheery cashier at the front. Stopped in to grab some weekend treats (special meals, sweets and booze). Was minding my own business checking out bottles of booze, when some male TJ employee comes up and asked me to 'cover my nose with my mask as well as my mouth.' I believe this is totally uncalled for. I was not coughing or sneezing or anything unacceptable. I was minding my own business staying socially distanced from everyone. Do you not understand that some people cannot medically handle restricted breathing with a mask totally covering their air intake? It is a medical handicap, just not as obvious as a wheelchair or other visible condition. TJ wants to restrict my handicap in their store because I physically cannot follow the current social normal. The organic selection is based on what they have available (seasonal), along with the produce section. The meats are pretty consistent with turkey available during Thanksgiving time. Didn't even know there was a Trader Joe's in this area until my gps took me here when I was around, super convenient actually if I don't want to fight through Downtown Bellevue's traffic because this is a much more low key location. I've love Trader Joe's ever since the beginning, quality products without the heavy price tag of one. Seriously, how are other groceries even still surviving. My freezer is stocked with their food for "I need something quick that doesn't taste like shit" emergencies. Their $2.99 penne pastas that heat over the stove top in 7 minutes has does wonders for me, ain't nobody got time to boil noodles, drain it, let it cool, and then add preservative sauce along with it. Either method is probably healthy, but I get it done in 7 minutes thanks to Trader Joe's. I also think Trader Joe's takes care of their employees, people here actually smile. Lol. Food is always awesome and fresh. Service is outstanding and I love talking with the employees. Super friendly! The ambience is relaxing, even on their busy days. It's so organized and I've been shopping here for about 2 years now and this location hasn't dropped the ball even once! This is slightly smaller than other TJ's I've been to, but it's actually my favorite one! When we have people come to visit us (guests that live an hour away) they also shop at this particular Trader Joe's and love it too. Trader Joe's is ok as far as their products are concerned. Their selection is understandably limited, but that's ok because it's good quality. But here's what I don't like. The idiotic interrogation I have to endure almost every time I checkout. The following is literally an exchange I had (and it's typical): Cashier: "Did you do anything fun today?" Me: "No." (Thinking: that's none of your business.) Cashier: "Do you have anything fun planned for tonight?" Me: "No." (Thinking: that's absolutely none of your business. Cashier: (Sees something I picked out) How are you going to cook that? Me: "I haven't decided." Cashier: "Oh, whiskey! Looks like your going to have a nice week end!" Me: (Restraining myself from saying something appropriately rude) (End) These cashiers are clearly being required to engage in smalltalk with customers; I can't imagine anyone being that consistently irritating by choice. Oh my goodness, I just had the most awful experience at this Trader Joe's!! I love TJs and go to other ones weekly, but this one is closest to my parents. They have the cramped checkouts, so the line I got in was actually for 2 checkers. It's confusing, you kind of have to do a double take and commit to one, but most of us kinda wait to see which one is going faster. When the nice guy in front of me was letting me put my stuff down near his so I wouldn't have to carry it, a crazy lady started screaming at the couple behind me, yelling that it was so rude that the lady was still shopping, but I guess she had still lined up behind me. In the most awkward Trader Joes fight, she started screaming about how ridiculous the couple was, and "what is with these foreigners?!" That's the type of people you get at this Trader Joe's. I'm from LA, so I don't blink twice when someone has an accent, and I think it's so great that everyone is floating around in their sari's, because I only see that at big parties, or in India. But this is the type of TJs where psychos feel the need to scream in public about foreigners acting rudely, so beware. Please see attached photos before I get in trouble with Yelp. So sorry to the elderly European (sorry, Eastern European? Russian maybe?) couple who were so cute, well dressed, and very kind to ask me which line I was in earlier. I'm sorry I didn't do a great job at telling the scary lady that she didn't see the husband standing in both lines while the lady grabbed something from a nearby shelf. I hope you know that I wish now I had done more, because I have felt more welcome in so many other countries. Traveling humbles you because you rely so often on the kindness of strangers, even just to buy food. I'm so sorry the Trump/Hitler thing is getting out of hand, and that the crazies are letting loose and attacking "foreigners." I hope that you two and anyone reading this will come back to this TJs and have a better experience. Ps, check out the pics, this lady loaded her stuff into a white wrangler in the handicap parking, but I didn't see anyone in the drivers seat. Located in that weird zone between Bellevue and Redmond, this TJ's is one of my fave stops when I'm in the area and need a pit stop and a free snack. There's a huge parking lot, and the store is rarely overly busy mid-day (unlike my local TJ's that is CONSTANTLY busy). I love to grab some snacks, maybe one of their tasty to-go salads, and a sample or two from their kitchen. Oh, and don't forget the free coffee! I have always loved Trader Joes before I moved here from Hawaii. I remember their cheap wine that everyone use to rave about that wasn't bad at all. They sell a variety of groceries from pork, poultry, fish, fresh flowers, fruits, vegetables. Reasonable prices I love buying their pre-made foods, the latest holiday treats. My brother loves their peppermint pretzel as I basically clear the store of it's supplies and send those home to Hawaii for him. Customer service at every Trader Joe's has been amazing. I'm a huge Trader Joe's fan, and when I first moved to the PNW nearly 20 years ago, the Bellevue TJ was the first such store I frequented, when it was located down the street on 156 Ave. NE in a strip mall. It was small, with a dicey parking lot, but still awesome, with all the swell products and great prices and cheery staff I loved from the get-go. I've been going to the Kirkland/Totem Lake and the Redmond TJ's more frequently over the years, but I stopped in this new Bellevue TJ location the other night - and I was BLOWN AWAY. Wow. First of all, the parking lot is huge and easy to navigate. (This used to be the site of the old Uwajimaya, a small sushi restaurant whose name eludes me at present, a ratty discount furniture store and an auto parts store, back in the day. So now it's this huge open parking lot dedicated to this Trader Joe's store and the adjacent Walgreen's. Nice!). The TJ interior is humongous - WAY bigger than the other TJ stores I've been to. It's more open, with wider aisles. Because it's more open, it seems brighter, somehow. They seem to have more shelf room for more product, too (this may be an optical illusion of sorts, but it really does seem that they are able to stock more foods here than in the other TJ stores I go to - especially in the refrigerated areas along the perimeter walls). The staff is as friendly as they are in the other stores, and are always around if you have questions. I wasn't able to find something immediately, but there were employees stocking the shelves down every aisle it seemed, and I didn't have to wander aimlessly looking for help (as I do at times in other stores). Also, I liked how, when the check-out registers all had lines building, they immediately opened up new registers. The check-out gal who summoned me over was so nice. Trader Joe's is amazing! I've always had great customer-service here and high-quality produce! At checkout I am always surprised at how cheap my bill is compared to everything I have purchased. They have a great selection of healthy, organic foods here as well as sweets for those wanting more. I love their chocolate covered almonds! The only thing I dislike about the store is that it is in a shared parking lot, so it can be difficult to find parking at times (and to leave as well). All-in-all it is a great store. Parking lot is always crowded. Store feels small for the amount of shoppers. However we got through the line quick. I felt like I have shopped at larger trader joes with a bigger selection but when there are not many locations to choose from you'll accept what you get. Food pricing is fair, I wish there was a greater selection of product, location is easy to get to, next door to Petsmart for a one stop shopping trip. One thing I about our recent experience is the check out clerk had us bag our own bags even when there was a long line of people waiting. I don't Mind bagging. I do thinks it's rude for the clerk not to ASSiST when there are lots of customers waiting in line and my husband and I have a full cart. Usually Trader Joes bags your groceries so this is not normal. People were waiting as we bagged after everything had been scanned and paid he still did not help. read more

I love going to Trader Joe's for specific items that I don't get anywhere else because the prices at TJ's are so much better such as the cheese, brown rice pastas, almonds, some produce, etc... This Bellevue location is nice, especially since it's no longer in the old shopping centre that it was in since parking was a little crammed for space. But now where TJ's is located is in a much spacious area in a newer shopping centre, which is easy to get to from the main street. The staff is always very friendly, especially the staff at the registers, as they always make light conversation. I like too how the staff has had most of the TJ's items, so that was they can give you recommendations on recipes, which has happened to me more than once. It's nice to know that the staff values where they work and believes in the products they sell. The only negative about Trader Joe's in general is that some of the items' portions are too small, thus having to get more than one item. This is the case especially for the freezer items. If you're shopping for a party, then you'll have to get duplicates of an item, to ensure there's enough food. Also, the ready-to-go items are hit and miss for me. I like to try new stuff all the time, but sometimes the items are not what I had hoped they'd be like the sushi, the buffalo chicken wrap, the chicken enchiladas, etc... But all in all, when I find items I like, I tend to stick with them and stock up, especially those items that I don't get anywhere else but here. read more

I told her, I will be complaining unless you take my return. I gave her 3 chances to set it right. I also told her I been shopping at TJ and no one ever asked for my receipt. She also gave me a fake number to call when I asked for a number to call to complain. Had she told me that she will be throwing out unopened shelf food due to covid, like at another location I went to where I decided not to return it to stop the waste of food, I would've not pursued the return. Instead, she insulted me and told me I cannot return anything unless my reason is not liking the product. The Trader Joe's here is good but only enough to get the job done. It's located between Bellevue and Redmond, and really close to the Microsoft campus. The employees are friendly and very helpful but are comparably less upbeat than what I've experienced at other Trader Joe's. What's good? There have always been free samples every time I've been here. Parking is never an issue. The place isn't too packed, but there are occasional more busier hours. What's not as good? I would recommend checking your fruits. I've occasionally found the berries to be moldy. Arguably less options for meat and vegetables here too. If you're planning to do a single trip to the store for all your needs, this isn't the best place for that. All in all, I'll still keep coming here. Like I said, it gets the job done. read more
