He was so proud of his authentic Nicaraguan pastries. I was surprised because I am half Nicaraguan myself and know they are hard to find. He was trying to give me a free one too like he did to a guy who came in who was unfamiliar with Nicaraguan pastries. The place needs love and it's more of a pick up and go type place although they had 2 small tables. Their Tres Leches has good components of a good Tres Leches: moist cake soaked in milk with a creamy whipped cream on top. However, the milk did not appear to be evenly absorbed across my portion of cake, as some sections remained without any milk. The cake also seemed to be the only thing ube flavored, so overall the ube flavor was lacking. The cake in general was yummy, but was not my favorite as an ube tres leches. Their desserts overall look great and their custom cakes are super cute! I hope to try other items in the future.
