This small town market has a lot to offer, most of its products are directly from them or locally sourced. It's designed to give off a small town feel and is cozy. We were hoping to walk around the apple orchard and outside grounds but unfortunately that is only available Saturdays and Sundays. Since we stopped in on a Wednesday that area was closed. We made the best out of it and strolled around the market instead. Staff members were helpful. No one was pushy and we didn't feel rushed to get in and out. We purchased several items and if I were to go back I'd definitely get the apple pie in a bag and chocolate peanut butter balls again. I'd pass on the seasoned pretzels and cheese curds. There were a total of four employees that I saw, one making the treats, one on drive thru, one "cleaning" and a super rude manager. The store was dirty with trash and food everywhere. The staff seemed overwhelmed for only having, at that time, three orders to handle and nobody seemed to honestly care that there were customers. The manager (Sean?) was incredibly rude to his employees, especially the boy working the drive thru who made an error in ringing up an order but communicated the proper order verbally to help speed the process. After the manager essentially screamed at him and sighed numerous times he helped the boy correct the error. The manager then proceeded to sigh and complain about the backup of orders and made it known both physically and verbally. I have worked in the service industry my entire life and never experienced someone that talks to their staff the way that this manager did. Honestly, I'm surprised they haven't walked out yet. We usually love this location but will go elsewhere from now on for our frozen treats.

Is it a mirage...or is that a CULVER'S sign on the highway exit signs..? I debate veering off the highway since I had planned a 6.2 mile run when i got to Lake Geneva. What the heck... I drove the 2.5 miles and pulled into the drive through - I know. The height of laziness. They had a special custard flavor: Mint, that was chock full of oreos and some other candies. One scoop. $2.51 with tax. Crazy low price. It was absolutely delicious!! The service was friendly and efficient. I ended up running the 6.2 miles, a bit slower than normal but no regrets. Like I say: Eat Dessert First! I posted a picture of my custard and you can barely tell what it looks like. I ate most of the ice cream before I took the picture. I asked for the manager (Gabriel) to file a complaint and ask for new sandwiches or some compensation for my inconvenience but he deferred to one of his coworkers who simply said sternly "NO FREE FOOD". There were a few other tables taken, and people were having quiet conversations or doing work. We ended up taking a spot in the corner, with chairs that are made for relaxing, but definitely not for talking :( (they lean way to far back, super awkward). They did a good job making my London Fog Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, and extra foam). There was not a lot of fresh bakery items to choose from. I wanted something more like a scone, but all they had was a cinnamon roll. They heated it up, and it pretty good. We would come back. ps - there is a large world map towards the rear of the shop.
