Let me be clear that Dr. Ochaney wasn't really the problem -- although his bedside manner was lacking. The issue was his staff. After twice explaining my symptoms and trying to get an appointment, I was repeatedly directed to the ER. The second time, his staff suggested my symptoms were life-threatening and I felt obligated to go to the ER. That visit alone cost me more than $1,000 -- despite my request to simply move my appointment up sooner. Again, this is effectively a customer service issue and not necessarily a problem with Dr. Ochaney. Nevertheless, I'd recommend you skip this doctor and find someone in Columbia or Annapolis if possible.

Dr. Diener sat with me for at least 30 minutes and asked all the right questions. I had a short list of things that I definitely wanted to make sure I discussed with the doctor, and I never needed to refer to that list because he hit on everything without my prompting. Plus, he just seems like an all-around nice guy.

I saw Dr Khim for years and I loved him. I always thought he was very thorough and kind until he…read morestarted treating me with off label preventative migraine medications a couple years ago. I'm a lifelong sufferer with migraines. The only med that has ever worked for me is fioricet. He refused to prescribe that unless he kept trying to find a preventativ even though the dozens of medications I used in past never worked or I had bad reactions to (many of which he prescribed me). There was one medication he always wanted me to try but would always say I couldn't because it was like a cousin to another medication that I had a severe reaction to. He eventually prescribed that medication (Effexor) unknowingly to me and it almost killed me. I called him in midst of my severe reaction. He and the receptionist kept yelling are you ok??? but at that point I could only heave and vomit. When I was able to speak I yelled out help and he literally asked me if I wanted him to call 911 as if it wasn't apparent I did. Long story short I went to Er via ambulance. My BP was insanely high like 258/147 and was in shock. My heart rate and blood sugar were also dangerously high. I was treated and released after I was stabilized. I called Dr Khim afterwards and he treated me like I was a problem and told me from thereafter he would be recording the phone calls. I never saw him again. I would advise caution seeing this doctor. I almost died from his mistake.

No attempt to establish any type or patient/physician relationship. I described the only issue I have been having, and he prescribed me an anti-depressant because it would also help with my symptoms, although I'm not experiencing any of the symptoms associated with depression. Understandable that medicine can be used for treatment of other things. Totally irresponsible to prescribe me a new medication that is known to have side effects that can alter your brain chemistry and then tell me to schedule a follow-up in ONE YEAR. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the rest of the staff was fantastic

They are conveniently located near my home and in a medical building with one of my specialist that I had already been seeing. So far I have been pleased with my experience here. They have a easy to use patient portal where you can make appointments and view test results. They have a option for a web appointment if you just have a few questions or need a follow and don't want to travel too the office. I use the Pikesville location but they have another office is Anne Arundel County. They are taking Covid precautions now so when I arrive I sit outside and call to check in. They call back when the doctor is ready so you don't have to wait in the waiting room. They have a ample supply hand sanitizer or use at the front desk.

His office over a year ago was located in Briggs Chaney Road--almost looked like a home medical office. Space was warming and vintage looking. His wife (who was the receptionist/business manager) was so friendly and welcoming. I had my annual physical and followed up thereafter for future appointments. Dr. Glancy is such a great physician. He's friendly, has a calm demeanor which exudes peace and tranquility. He's very thorough and gentle. This year his office was moved to Olney--and he is a physician at the Medstar Mongtomery General Hospital facility. He may have a new office, but he has remained true to his calling. Highly recommend him to all my friends in the area. (wife no longer works the front desk).
