This clinic is very professional and they take care of me very well. I like the new look and I have been seen to this place for many year.

I have a horrific ear ache in both of my ears. I called my primary care physician and he was on vacation. I then called my ENT doctor and he couldn't see me until next week! So I went to Urgent Care in Canton on Boston Street. I have always had positive experiences there and once again it was a great experience despite my pain. Dr. Christy saw me in a quick amount of time, and she even let me know why I was getting the ear infections so often...I was cleaning them too much and not leaving any wax in them which protects the ears. I received a liquid medication and an antibiotic. I feel much better thanks to Dr. Christy and the wonderful staff. They have also treated my grandson several times and again, we never had to wait long and they know what they are doing. I'm so glad they are close to me. I would HIGHLY RECOM

X rat taken at an orthopedist after priority care clinic told me my x rays showed no abnormalities.

They do not have an xray machine despite being an urgent care, which makes it impossible to be seen for suspected broken bones / injuries.

Minimal wait times, even throughout COVID. Doctors and nurses are friendly, attentive, and willing to listen.

I have to say that the PA can be a little brusque and can come off as unsympathetic but seems to know her stuff.

I waited around 1 hour in the waiting room before being brought back, around 410pm. I waited in the back for about an hour before being seen by a provider, around 510pm. The motion sensor lights in the room literally turned off like 3 times because I laid there waiting for so long. I was seen by the provider for less than 10 minutes total. I wasn't in a rush to go anywhere afterwards, but if I did have plans after my appointment they would've been severely delayed. The front desk staff, nursing/ medical assisting staff and the PA seemed professional and friendly. Though the extended wait times with uncertainty of when I'd be seen rubbed me the wrong way. There wasn't a clear estimate given about the wait time, but I was told there were maybe 3 people ahead of me. I also overheard through the door something about how I was supposed to be seen before someone else, but "Oh well". That was the tipping point. Way too blasé, like it happens all the time, I guess? A suggestion is putting in a better system to avoid seeing patients out of order and causing others to wait longer unnecessarily? There weren't clear instructions given about what to do if symptoms persisted even after medication or other treatment options provided. Or possible explanations about why I had this problem. Just "Oh so this is what's happening, and here's some medication I can write for you. Okay, thanks. Bye."

The man at the front desk is a joy and a very helpful person. That said though, I do agree with other reviews that mention the wait time. I too had a been on a list for 4pm and still wasn't seen for an hour. Seems to me the only thing missing at this place is...urgency.

I should've read the reviews before I tried this Urgent Care. I'm giving two stars mainly because…read moreeveryone I interacted with was fairly cordial and there was no wait. However, I'm disappointed that the staff here did not listen to my concerns during my visit. I came in with a terrible sore throat and fever which had been going on since the day before. I popped into Urgent Care on Saturday in the hopes of getting prescribed antibiotics - if my primary physician were open, I would've just gone to her but it was the weekend. I knew I must have tonsillitis. I've had it 2-3 times in the past and when you know, you just know. I was seen immediately and ushered into a room by the same person who checked me in. Then he ushered me into another room. He asked me to take my mask off and had three swabs in hand. Thinking he was taking a strep test, I opened my mouth. Nope, Covid test and he put it up my nose. Would've been nice to have some warning or been told what was happening. He took another swap up my nose and then another in my throat. He said someone would be in soon. 30 minutes later another person comes in the room. Was she a nurse, a doctor? I'm not sure, she never introduced herself. She said all my tests came back negative and I asked what tests? Since I was never informed. So I don't have strep, the flu or Covid. I tell her I'm certain it's tonsillitis because I've had it before and I can see from looking at my throat that that's what it is. This person barely looked at my throat (didn't even use a tongue depressor to get a good look) and didn't even touch the lymph nodes on my neck to check for swelling. Didn't even touch my neck at all. She also told me my body aches aren't consistent with tonsillitis. Wrong, my lymph nodes were swollen and causing aches which is a common symptom of tonsillitis. She also told me they don't prescribe antibiotics for tonsillitis. Also wrong, I've been prescribed antibiotics for all the cases of tonsillitis I've had in the past. This is necessary for tonsillitis brought on by a bacterial infection. My condition continued to worsen the following days - unable to eat, drink, swallow, sleep (due to reduced air flow), turn my head, and even talk. I finally saw my ENT that Tuesday and he took one look at my throat and felt my lymph nodes and said yep, this is tonsillitis and prescribed me antibiotics and steroids since the swelling was so bad. He was shocked when I told him the urgent care didn't prescribe me anything or even do any blood tests. Safe to say I will not be returning to this urgent care anytime in the future. They lack communication and listening skills and it's actually very concerning.

This was the worst medical care I've ever received. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by…read morerude staff with zero bedside manner. It was not very busy at all. I was the only person checking in. Yet I was yelled at for asking simple but necessary questions about copays/insurance. It was a bad start. I was in Baltimore for a work conference when I tested positive for COVID-19, for the first time. Since I have an underlying condition, was concerned, and wasn't going to be able to get back to CA to see my primary care doctor in a timely manner, I came here for help. Instead of getting help, I was told they couldn't prescribe me any medication (not paxlovid, and not even prednisone for my cough/asthma) for me because they "didn't know enough about my medical history." Wtf?? Since when does an URGENT care need someone's entire medical history to give them help? This was even after they confirmed that my asthma peak flow reading was low compared to what it should be. They said I wouldn't be a candidate for the ER either- so where was I supposed to go?? They gave me a nebulizer treatment, which didn't do much, and told me to take mucinex, Pepcid, and follow up with my primary care doctor. I wasted so much time for literally nothing. Once I got home to CA, my primary care immediately put me on the medications I asked for and needed. DO NOT GO TO THIS URGENT CARE.
