They helped me when I got married & took my husband & his children ( my step-kids) into their practice. Later when I had children , with special needs, they handled them well . I had major issues from their birth, but Dr "J" wouldn't give up on me. He sent me to multiple types of therapy (water, message, dry needling & more) . he helped me when I had to take in my elderly mother with Dementia. When I was hurt at work & eventually DISABLED. He assisted with sending me to specialist for my Bicuspid Aortic Heart Valve & a connective tissue disorder, helped with pre-screening for 20 surgeries . I have trusted them with my & my family's health & life . They cared , they knew us by name and they were very nice/friendly & professional. The back office staff seems to do a fine job. I haven't had any issues with billing or anything for many years. But I do show up on time and cancel with plenty of notice if I need to. The front office staff, however, has rarely been any good over the time I've been going there. I can't figure out why they keep one of the women, who seems to be unpleasant every single day. But all she does is check me in, and I'm not going to downgrade the actual medical care I receive from Mrs. Sirianni because of the office personnel. So, a 5 for PA Sirianni!

Call them every day, today is Thursday, call them twice today and they still working on it. What they have to do just to sign the paperwork and submit to my insurance. I cannot applaud Montgomery Family Medicine enough. We have a personal relationship with most of the staff so we get the attentioin we need. When I could not fit in recently, staff suggested an urgent care which I did--and that was a rarity. I love their policy of not carrying "controlled substances" in the office. In short, it's the best medical facility of which we were patients in decades. I had a minor concern that I thought was more serious. I was referred to a general surgeon and it was taken care of in no time. I needed several tests, and some of them I got on the way home at an X-ray facility on the way! We had the most agonizing experience with this primary care clinic yesterday. My brother, who is…read morebasically bedbound had an appointment for an ear issue yesterday at 11 AM. We had to arrange medical transport to get him there in a wheelchair. This is the first time in six months that he has been out . Due to the snowstorm in the area yesterday the medical transport was approximately 12 minutes late. My sister took time off of work to meet my brother there to assist with the examination. She was told that the appointment was canceled because he was 15 minutes late. By that time, my brother and the medical transport arrived and no one would see him. They had to reschedule him for 1:45 that afternoon. So he was transported back to the house and then had to then go through all of this again an hour and a half later, while my sister then had to take additional time off of work and we had to pay for a second medical transport. Now I live in Minnesota where we get snow all the time and I've never heard of anybody being treated like this at a medical facility . I'm trying to deal with all of this from 960 miles away my brother, who is a stroke victim, was very nervous and very agitated and could not really comprehend what was going on. Upon arrival for the 145 appointment my sister and my brother sat in the waiting room for 14 minutes before being called back and once they were called back they sat in the room for an additional 20 to 25 minutes before my sister went out to find somebody. All in all a 40 minute wait while they canceled our original appointment for being 15 minutes late during the snowstorm. My sister was told that they were short doctors because of the storm and and they were behind. But yet we were only 15 minutes late and had to put my brother through hell and back again. I'm calling the front desk. I found out that appointments for new patients can take any worse from 15 to 30 minutes so I don't understand why they could not have squeezed him in on the original appointment to have his ears looked at. They could obviously see that he was a disabled gentleman sitting in their waiting room. In total the doctor spent five minutes with my brother while we paid for two transports two hours of my sister's time away from work and numerous phone calls while I was at work. This is a doctor's office and the treatment was totally unacceptable. I cannot believe that they could not have had him looked at on the first visit. It is quite obvious that they value their own time over that of the patient and we would not be recommending or returning to this facility .

There aren't enough superlatives to describe the care my husband received at the Adventist…read moreRehabilitation Center in Silver Spring.  Everyone is caring and focused on getting the patient healthy and maintaining a stress free environment so you can focus your energies on healing.  They all work as a team.  Dr. Thorpe, in addition to being an extremely skilled physician, he is thoughtful, caring and attentive. He makes you feel as if you're his only patient taking whatever time is needed to answer any questions and keep you informed of the treatment plans. My husband came to the center unable to walk because of spine surgery and with a diagnosis of a blood disorder.  As a result of Dr. Thorpe's thoroughness, it turned out that there was no blood disorder.  The usual blood tests provided inaccurate results. The physical and occupational therapists were equally caring and skilled. The therapies had him walking and slowly becoming self sufficient. The nursing care cannot be praised enough.They were always responsive to his needs and often checked in just to see how he was doing. Our care navigator, Ms. Enitan Macarthy worked to maintain quality care and made the transition home seamless. We owe a debt of gratitude to the entire staff for getting my husband functioning well enough to come home.
