And I am so pleased to say that I am glad I did this is one of the best decisions I've made. After leaving his practice I felt 110% better my back feels really loose nerves are calm and I just feel like I can move a lot easier. I don't know how long this will last of course but with exercise and repeat visits I'm sure we can make this an excellent outcome. Found out the hard way, they did not do or prescribe what I wanted period and staff should be aware of this or ask before making an appointment. $111.98 down the drain! and pushy to get me to make another appointment to give me part of what I needed. It seems like they want you to keep coming back to get what should have been down the first time. I should have know better. There does not seem like there are any doctors out there anymore. Most are scared to give certain prescriptions but that is why they are there. Not at all like who I went to who retired and the one before him and before him etc. They were real doctors unlike what you have now. Let me start by saying I can understand why this place has very few and unfavorable reviews. We've…read moretaken our son here since he was born in 2017, and every experience has become more and more unpleasant. My choice adjectives for this office would be: dim, impersonal, inconsiderate, and disorganized. The kind nurses and 1-2 assistants who actually took the time to converse/answer questions on occasion are the only saving grace (and also why I'm not giving 1 star). The doctors themselves are inconsistent, meaning you'll likely not be able to see the same physician for your child's routine - or ad hoc, as they often are with kids - visits. This leads to no real relationship forming or sense of quality patient care. It is like a puppy mill in this regard. When I asked about the shuffle, they had some folks understandably out on leave or at their other branches the days we needed, but there was never an effort made to accommodate that simple request, to have the same physician when possible. My biggest concern arose in the last year when our son developed a persistent cough/trouble breathing with every minor cold (or "cough variant asthma" as I learned from specialists who care to help solve vs. ignore ongoing issues). Turns out it is easily treatable, but requires some attention. Not once did any of the physicians give us a call to see how my son was doing after repeat visits and worsening symptoms, nor did they ever recommend a specialist or other course of action. A friend and colleague shared with me the practices they go to for similar conditions, and we now have a plan that is keeping my son healthy and able to BREATHE! He also had a double ear infection once that they did not catch, but that an ENT was able to confirm within minutes. My final grievance is that I requested his medical records be released to our new doctor and signed a waiver authorizing them to send them. Weeks later, I was notified by the new doctor that they never received the records. I finally picked them up in-person and paid extra for printing because I did not trust the staff to handle them. One assistant did apologize for the misunderstanding, but shouldn't there be an electronic file of his data that they could just transfer digitally? Maybe that's too advanced? They apparently use an employee's generic, unsecured personal email address for these transactions. Yikes. Add all of this to the small, outdated, and uninviting physical space of the office, and you can see why we have now moved to a different practice just down the road. Oh, and when you wait to be seen for over an hour and your parking expires (I know, this is not their fault) because you're caring for your sick toddler, the parking tickets in their lot are $45 each and they double within 2 weeks if unpaid. We are looking forward to starting fresh somewhere else and hope this rant of a review helps others in making such an important family decision as their kids' pediatrician!

I was so mad! I understand, in some case it is really hard to diagnose, but as a well-trained and qualified doctor, at least you should give some suggestions and your own opinion, rather than keep yelling "I do not know how to do with him, especially when your patient is just a baby.

And the last straw for me was when the current non-concierge practice actually WANTED ME TO WAIT IN PAIN AND SEVERE DISCOMFORT FOR SEVERAL DAYS, instead of just prescribing antibiotics for a urinary infection. They wanted me to wait come in for urinalysis and wait for 3 days for the results before they would provide me relief. In the past they have prescribed antibiotics for immediate relief before without a fuss. But the new practice has no qualms about having women patients suffer for a few days.

I met Dr. Kwon in the foyer of my condo complex and found out that we had the same last names and that he was a general practitioner. Looking for a doctor, I quickly made an appointment and jetted off to Silver Spring. Dr. Kwon's office was clean and quaint - lots of little old Korean ladies who hadn't quite caught on to the English craze here in America - but hey, it's a niche market and you have to cater to the customer if you're going to survive. Very friendly, gets back to you quickly, and doesn't talk down to you when you ask a question. I have kept him on (even though I've been using the VA medical center lately too) as my doc and will continue to go to him in the future.
