And I am so pleased to say that I am glad I did this is one of the best decisions I've made. After leaving his practice I felt 110% better my back feels really loose nerves are calm and I just feel like I can move a lot easier. I don't know how long this will last of course but with exercise and repeat visits I'm sure we can make this an excellent outcome. I refer any and everybody if you have back pains call Silver Spring Medical Center.

I recently established primary care here with Dr. Gibson and I felt the need to post a review…read morebecause the quality of service I receive from here is exceptional. Everything from scheduling the appointment, the friendliness of the staff, promptness, and overall professionalism is 5 out of 5 stars. If I could give an extra star for going above and beyond what other facilities do, I would. Before establishing care here, I lived by the UCLA Ronald Reagan Center which is one of the top-rated medical centers in the US. Having experienced their level of service which was great and comparing it to here- I would say here is the same level of quality but probably better if I'm being honest. Dr. Gibson's expertise in medicine is exceptional and what's noteworthy is his ability to explain seemingly complex topics in ways that are digestible and absorbed by you and me. I never feel rushed during an appointment and the doctor remembers everything I've told him which shows his attention to detail and his care for each patient. Sometimes I think it's easy to feel like you're just another patient at medical facilities but you won't experience that here. You'll be treated like the awesome human you are and realize this is how healthcare should be. I came here because I saw a great review on google and now I'm passing the good energy on because I can see why his reviews were so good & genuine. During this unprecedented time, it's a blessing to know there are medical practices like Embrace Primary Care. Stay safe y'all!

For the most part what kept me going there was that over all the Doctors were a good group of Doctors. Some I liked better than others... Its a very large practice. Alot of the Doctors have changed. I liked Dr. Sussman and Dr. Von Conrad who passed away in 2011..he was awesome. The front desk staff is rude, unfriendly, carries this resistance as though they want to work against you not with you. Like anything you need is a bother for them. They would love to find a reason to not help you or tell you to go away..... The front desk staff was always a turn off there for all those years. There was literally one nurse there that was very nice

I was so mad! I understand, in some case it is really hard to diagnose, but as a well-trained and qualified doctor, at least you should give some suggestions and your own opinion, rather than keep yelling "I do not know how to do with him, especially when your patient is just a baby.

I've *never* encountered any of these experiences. Never. And, have always been treated very professionally and courteously during a visit, from start to finish. Today...was no exception. Then, I started looking at the dates on these reviews and saw how many were written when COVID-19 was at it's first peak. Let me explain something. There wasn't *any* health care provider who was prepared for this...seriously, none. Supplies were in scarce supply, everything from masks and gloves to disinfecting products to...protocol in seeing patients was nearly non-existent. Everyone was winging it, including myself...at my own office. Personally, my experiences with the office have all been top notch. During the above mentioned time period, I was also due for a regular visit to have my prescriptions refilled and a televisit was done instead of an in-person appointment. Had zero issues, again despite the ongoing pandemic. Yes. I would definitely recommend this practice, without hesitation and would advise those reading negative reviews to consider the positive ones as well.

I made an appointment online and was seen at my appointment time. The receptionists were friendly and check in was a breeze. They took down my info and I was on my way to see the doctor in 15 minutes. The waiting area was small but clean. Photos were not allowed in the examination room but the rooms were a bit worn but sanitary for a doctors office). I was first seen by a PA who assessed my situation, asked questions and did a preliminary check. I was then told to wait and a friendly and knowledgeable physician came to explain the diagnosis (thankfully I'm good) and next steps should I continue to experience similar or new symptoms. They both put my mind at ease and we're thorough in their assessment of my situation. Overall positive experience. No one wants to go to the doctor but it's always easier when the staff at the doctors office are warm and inviting. Thanks guys!

Dr. Kwon...paging Dr. Kwon…read more.. While I wish this was someone calling for me over the PA system in a hospital (med school dreams still haven't died), it actually would be for Dr. Oki Kwon. I met Dr. Kwon in the foyer of my condo complex and found out that we had the same last names and that he was a general practitioner. Looking for a doctor, I quickly made an appointment and jetted off to Silver Spring. Dr. Kwon's office was clean and quaint - lots of little old Korean ladies who hadn't quite caught on to the English craze here in America - but hey, it's a niche market and you have to cater to the customer if you're going to survive. Very friendly, gets back to you quickly, and doesn't talk down to you when you ask a question. I have kept him on (even though I've been using the VA medical center lately too) as my doc and will continue to go to him in the future.
