The ease and convenience of scheduling your own appointments is amazing! When I arrived, I was able to check in easily at the front ipad which scanned my driver's license, it was so easy, I didn't have to fill out any long forms or anything! When I saw my doctor, she was able to do a physical and fill out some forms I needed for a new job. She was comprehensive, thorough, patient, and caring. She was so wonderful! Also, at the facility, I was able to get my blood drawn by a wonderful technician who was so good I didn't feel anything! And also get an EKG right on the premises. The doctor also referred me to get an X-ray on the same day, suggesting I drive the 10 minutes to the radiology center to get a walk-in appointment. So within a few hours, I was able to get all my medical needs taken care of at one place. It was AMAZING! We visited here a few months ago after getting confirmation from my insurance company that they will cover the full cost since this place was listed as a URGENT CARE CENTER. However, when I was billed for the full amount ($300+), they said my insurance rejected the claim because AllCare is no longer an urgent care center, but a primary care center. The AllCare representative I spoke to also spewed some nonsense about them being an "immediate care." Apparently, "immediate care" is different from "urgent care" when it comes to medical coding. Yes, he orders tests and will always make sure that he checks for anything that could possibly be wrong. Yes, he can get very busy at times and occasionally runs behind schedule. However, he genuinely cares for you. He is always personable and actually remembers you. He has no problems answering as many questions as you have and tries to relieve anxiety and fear. He will call you back and they will fit you into their schedule if needed without hesitation. They are reasonable in their care and suggestions but always keep your comfort and wellbeing in the forefront. My son who has autism will soon be transitioning from his pediatrician to a Family Physician and that will be Dr. Khim. He will run further tests until he can figure out what is wrong. He is very good about fitting people into his schedule whenever he can, even if that means working through lunch or late. The nurses are all very kind and if you call, he will always get back to you either by lunch time or at the end of the day. Sometimes the wait is long but that is usually because he has probably squeezed someone in who was sick, so I don't mind as I've been in the same position.
