However they act as if they are doing you a favor just by letting you inside! I never thought this strip center would have a tenant, or even two for that matter. Next to Subway #1,362 sits Q Nails. The staff are super nice and have provided me with 2 fantastic manicure / pedicure combos to date. They have a wide range of colors from OPI, very comfortable pedicure stations and new equipment throughout. They have plenty of new magazines, fresh paint on the walls and an overall clean atmosphere. The music could use a kick start though, it's pretty stale. Entering the strip center can be a bit odd, there is a quick and somewhat steep entrance from Huebner and another from Bitters. As they are new as of now, Q Nails have been mailing coupons to surrounding addresses so look for $3 off a manicure in your box. read more

Finally! A place on this side of town who can do a great pink and white set. They even do the white tip line by hand! Which I've never seen. I have been to 3 or 4 places all doing not so great jobs on my fills! Very fast, clean and friendly staff. Its not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Great pedicures as well! My friends raved about the service here, but I don't see why. My technician cut my nails WAY too short, and they're not even the same length. One foot is cut shorter than the other and it looks ridiculous. First off, really friendly staff makes a huge difference. I've never been disappointed with a manicure here, from any of the girls or guys. The price for a set of gel/shellac nails is a little higher than average, but I keep forking over the cash because I've never had to wait and I've never had reason to complain. Their basic pedicures are pretty great and well priced, and their special pedicure is also a treat. I wish there was a little more callous work, but that's just me and my dry skin talking. My mom took me here while I was in town to get a fill... I was very skeptical that they would do exactly what I wanted with my nails, but I was happily surprised! They ambiance is great, the staff is very nice and polite. I was given water when I walked in. Usually the shellac here is spot on, but recently a shellac mani done here started chipping within one day. I picked out a color without realizing the container was low. The tech scrounged every last drop out, but it was still ridiculously thin so of course it didn't last. I do not where to even BEGIN with this place. First I went into this place at the recommendation of a relative a few years ago and the service was excellent. What I received today was far far less than anything of quality. Firstly, when I came in even though I had signed in as the second person on the list, at least three to four people were seen before me. And this was at 9:10 right after they opened. I figured I'd wait, but that the person who was going to do my full set was worth it. Absolutely not worth the weight. He did a mediocre job, filed one of my nails extremely shorter than the rest and nearly left my nails at an extreme angle because he thought they looked fine. However, I know that working the service industry is hard so I was initially forgiving and went on my way as I was in a bit of a hurry. As soon as I had left and was driving, I noticed my ring was gone. I went to my appointment that I was already late for because the man doing my nails was incredibly slow (it took him an hour and a half to give me a full set) After my appointment I called them to see if they found my ring. They told me no. Now I had already checked everywhere and could not find the ring so I was a bit upset. The manager answered none of my questions but gave me plenty of excuses, "Oh I already searched the desk, you left a cup, I searched my employee already, we have nothing here" and the worst of all "My employee says he was sure he saw that ring on your finger (I have four other rings besides the one I lost), and I don't know what you want me to do about it." I was definitely not happy with that answer, so I went back to Q and asked if I could look myself. I went and looked and still found nothing at which point the manager started getting angry with me after offering to let me look. He yelled at me in front of everyone else there " I don't know what you want me to do about it there's nothing here!" I just stated that I wanted my ring back as it meant a lot to me. He said "Fine! Go ahead, call the police see what happens to you when they find nothing here!" He threatened that the cops would get me in trouble if they didn't find my ring. At this point I'm in tears and there's two women consoling me as he keeps yelling and making fun of me in front of all the other customers. Luckily I wound up finding the ring but the experience here was just AWFUL. I felt so humiliated just because I was worried about getting my ring back. UPDATED REVIEW: it has been one day ONE! since I got my nails done and one has already broken. not to mention there are several places where the acrylic is uneven and piled up read more

The lady who did mine seemed to be in a hurry and used wayyy too much gel when doing them and now I feel like I am carrying cement blocks around on my fingers. I used to go here but they are all about money never had a problem until I got my nails done recently and went back because they were crooked, they just reshaped then instead of taking them off and replacing them, had the nails on for 48 hours before they broke off. They're Monday- Wednesday 10% off is awesome too so I became a regular. A few weeks ago I found out my girl wasn't there anymore but I still decided to keep going. Had decent service, but today I was done. The girl who was doing my mani was rough, even when pushing in my cuticles. She had me soak my hands AFTER cutting my nails and putting cuticle oil on them. They have never charged for that, and if they are starting, it's fine but a courtesy would be to tell. They tried to argue with me, even though I know how much I pay every 2 weeks! It will be up to you to check in and ask the status, to which you'll receive a vague response which means more waiting. I chose this place for convenience as the quality is not top notch. I have been going here for over two years and I will not go back. They used to be very friendly but not so much now. I went in today and after waiting for 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me they sent me to the pedi room with no technician waiting.
