I'm half Chinese so I have very thin & straight lashes, so in the past I have had lashes turn and simply fall off in clumps. Not Linh's lashes...She uses enough glue to have them last, but not too much where you can visibly see or feel the glue when washing. She communicates through text, which I find convenient. She stays quite busy, but if I need to reschedule, I will suggest date & time, and she will either confirm or give suggestion of next available day and time. She follows up with a confirmation text and reminder texts. She truly is gifted and I'm in love with her work, as anybody would if you book with her. Nhi (Mia) gives me the exact look I ask for which is so important bc many techs go overboard since they're used to a certain look. I was also shocked the first time I got a fill, It's pretty standard for technicians to stick to a certain time-frame when doing your lashes so if they don't get to them all you just don't have a complete/full set. When arrived, she greeted me nicely and asked for me to sit down. She put a throw blanket on me since it was a little chilly coming from outside. I have never had my lashes done on a recliner chair before! This was the first, and I was very comfortable! All the lash places I have ever been to have clients lay on the foldable beds with a pillow to prop up your legs. It causes my lower back to hurt. But here, Mia has definitely put her clients first and giving them the most comfortable experience ever! She was very quiet, but sweet and pleasant. Delicate hands that create such beautiful work! Each time there has been some minor inconveniences (40min wait times, nail techs digging too far into my cuticles, rushing the service, and overcharging for "length") but this one is where I draw the line. My last visit I paid extra for gel cat eye. The tech who did my toes did 2 layers of polish. I asked the nail tech if she should do the same and she said no. 1 week later the paint is chipping off of my hands. I go to check out and they added a length charge. I went in with bare hands and did not ask for extra length but apparently it's an automated extra charge for a full set. Fine. 3 days ago (9 days later) I noticed FOUR of my nails LIFTING. Today, I called because one of them is literally barely hanging on. This has NEVER happened to me before. "Vivian", the manager, was fairly rude and was not willing to discount a repair. Instead, she said to come in and pay full price for another full set or a fill. Now, I have to go somewhere and have the entire set removed (to prevent moisture build up) and get an entirely new set. If I wanted to worry about my nails falling off, I'd buy them from HEB. ~ Complete waste of money But the ambience is cute, so they get a 2 instead of 1.

After my experience here, I genuinely feel like I found the right place. From the moment I called to ask about pricing, Vivian made such a great first impression. Since they don't list their prices online, I had quite a few questions about full sets, pedicures, and add-ons. She was incredibly patient, answered every question thoroughly, and even told me to ask for her when I arrived. When I got there, Vivian immediately remembered our phone conversation and greeted me warmly. I only waited about 10 minutes before one of the gentlemen invited me to sit in a massage chair and soak my feet while they prepared a technician since they were busy. He also offered me a complimentary drink they have mimosas, wine, Coke, Diet Coke, and water which was such a nice touch. When I showed Vivian the exact nail color I wanted, she didn't try to convince me to choose something else or tell me it wasn't possible. When I was about five minutes away from my appointment, I received a text asking to push my appointment back by about an hour and a half. Since Mary was no longer available, I was scheduled with Lucy instead. This was, by far, the worst and most painful lash appointment I've ever experienced. Throughout the appointment, it felt like my natural lashes were being pulled out. She also placed several extensions directly on my skin, which caused irritation, dryness, and discomfort afterward. To make matters worse, I get a hybrid set specifically because my natural lashes are very fine, and I always request a combination of fans and individual lashes. Lucy only worked on my fill for about 30 minutes, and the final result did not reflect what I requested or what I normally receive. When I politely expressed my concerns, she was dismissive and rude instead of addressing the issues. Thankfully, Mary was able to fix the lashes afterward, and I truly appreciate her for making things right. I would absolutely recommend Mary, but I cannot recommend Lucy based on my experience. She is the sole reason I'm leaving a one-star review. If I could leave zero stars for her service, I would.
