Uber Eats: first time having and heavily impressed, packaging could be a little better the cheese stuck to the paper but WOW so good

I had ordered via Uber Eats my first go around. Mozz & the smash burger, my expectations weren't high considering take out. But WOW, take out dine in doesn't matter PZZA is doing something special. The smash burger is a unique offer for a pizza joint but please don't knock it until you try it. I liked it so much I went in person within the same week. Ordered a pepperoni, and a smash to go. No regrets, the staff is happy to be there, vibes are great and, the place is spotless. I tried the pizza as soon as I got in the car, the under carriage sent me to a place!!! Back to my childhood in north jersey, thin crust heaven. Don't waste time just go and try for yourself.

Came to Pzza on a whim as we were in the area for shopping. It's located in a little strip plaza, with pretty limited parking. But if you know Mizner, you know to expect it. When we got to the door, the door was open, and it wasn't even nice outside. My pet peeve is when restaurants leave their doors open, it was also warm and muggy on the inside, not sure if they're AC was broken or what. We didn't plan to eat it to go, so we just ate there. It definitely is more of a takeout spot. They have outdoor seating, but kids were taking up those tables, so we ate at the bar that they have. You order from a tablet on the wall which I honestly prefer than having to speak to an actual person. We ordered the chicken caesar sandwich, the 12" vodka pie, and a side of truffle fries along with 2 cans of soda. The chicken caesar sandwich was the perfect balance of crunchy, tender, and saucy. The fried chicken cutlet was cooked beautifully, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and paired perfectly with the cool caesar dressing. I do wish this sandwich had a bit more flavor though. I think the Caesar fell a bit flat for me. It also seems like you can double up on the meat for the sandwiches, too, when you order. The vodka pizza crust had that ideal mix of light chew and crispness, and the vodka sauce was rich, creamy, and full of flavor without being heavy. The truffle parm fries, while crispy, did not offer much truffle or parm at all. They were pretty bland, but still a really good french fry, just not a good truffle fry, and you're paying extra for the truffle and parm. Overall, our meal was a little over $42. I would say the prices are pretty on par for most pizza places these days which is absolutely insane, considering pizza should be pretty cheap. The vodka pie is on the lower price end of their pizzas considering the fact that it doesn't have meat. So if you are getting meat on your pizza, expect to pay more. It was an okay experience, I would go back to try other things, but unless it's a cool night out, which does not come regularly in florida, I'd absolutely get everything to go, however I'm not 100% sure how it would hold up during a drive. I guess we will find out eventually!

After hearing some buzz about the place, I had to stop by and check it out. I liked both the Burger and the Pizza but upped my score to a 5 because I like the people here. Jules took my order and Jimmy made my pie. They are both awesome... taking the time to explain everything and answer my questions with a fantastic attitude. This store is small, and very laid back. First had a Single House Style SmashBurger w/ American Wagyu smashed into the griddle for a crispy outside, w/ White American, Red Onion, Japanese Mayo... had great flavor, liked the preparation. Then ordered a Pepperoni and Onion Pizza. Top quality ingredients and always appreciate Ezzo Pepperoni. Jimmy cooked it perfectly. They only have 12" pies, so the 8 slices are very small... next time I'll ask for 4 cuts. Wish they offered larger pies as well. A pizza place like this with Saratoga Water tells you something about their attitude toward quality. RECOMMENDED

We visit there today and we just had the two person pepperoni pizza fresh from the oven. It was very good and very fast. Other people we were with had the Smashburger and I think they are known for this one and they absolutely loved it. I think we would definitely come here again.

My son and I were in the area visiting Gumbo Limbo Nature Center and started craving pizza. After browsing a few Yelp reviews, we came across PZZA, and we're so glad we did! The restaurant is tucked into a busy shopping strip, so parking is a bit tight, but the pizza is well worth it. Their cute gator logo makes the place easy to spot. Inside, you'll find high-top seating for dine-in guests, and I appreciated the variety of ordering options: a large digital menu, handheld copies, and a self-serve kiosk. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered at the counter with a kind young woman and went with a classic cheese pizza (12 inches, 8 slices), two garlic knots, and a cold-pressed strawberry lemonade (all for about $24). We grabbed a couple of seats by the window, which gave us a nice view for some casual people-watching. The garlic knots came out first, hot, fresh, and just the right size for a light bite before our main meal. By the time we finished them, our pizza arrived, served with two plates. The pizza was outstanding: thin crust, flavorful sauce, and a well-balanced overall taste that hit all the right notes. PZZA is a solid hidden gem, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

A little disappointed. Thought this place was going to be amazing bc of all the tiktoks I've seen but it's very average. Got the chicken Cesar sandwhich. Not nearly enough lettuce on it. The chicken was very good though and great dressing. The bread is soft, not your typical bread so didn't love that. It was also very small. The pizza was super mid. And you can only get slices of like three of their pizzas not all of them. Wanted to try a cool flavor but didn't want to get a whole pie so couldn't. Weird that they cut one slice into four pieces. Very overpriced all around also.

Normally the pizza is very good. Tonight I ordered a Lux with pepperoni on one half. What I got was a regular pizza with half pepperoni then throw some slices of cheese on it. This is not a Lux. This is bullshit cutting corners passing it off as a Lux. See what a Lux should look like in the pictures.

If you hate when pizzerias make a pepperoni pie with pepperoni spaced out as an afterthought rather than it being a focal point in placement, then belly up to the counter. The pie was pretty damn good, with a regular bake (as opppsed to well done or charred) the crust was firm and without a flop. The chopped cheese sandwich was equally good...a good bit pricier than NYC bodegas, but it's Wagyu. If you're in the area you should stop by and try it out. The smash burgers are good as well.

10/02/2024 - 4 stars are for the awesome service on the phone ordering our food. The girl who helped me on the phone was so patient and so helpful since I had tons of questions and requests. The food was good but was pricy for the amount we got. FYI it's best to eat this food fresh instead of takeout. We had: * RONI - not too bad * Double WGYU SMSH BRGR (Wagyu Smash Burger) - NOT bad , I am sure it would have been better if we ate the burgers there. * Ranch - Made in House! - VERY good * STRACCI (Stracciatella Burrata) - not too bad * Mike's Hot Honey - very good on Roni pizza * Honey infused with chili peppers. Okay, let's start with the pizza. Crust is good. Chicken parm pizza is tasty. So why only 3*? Chaos when we went to pick up - wrong order at first. Received correct order eventually, but still basil missing from one of the pizzas. Lack of topping choices. One size pizza only - enough for two people maybe. Not their fault, but parking limited - too many restaurants in that strip for the number of eateries. So if you want a two person pizza, are okay with their select toppings, and are walking there, go for it! read more

Do not sleep on this brand new pizza spot in Mizner Park. This pizza is thin and crispy with no flop. The ingredients were all super fresh and this is one of the few restaurants in the area that actually has Stra to put on your pizza. One of my favorite pieces was the one with the pesto on it. I definitely recommend that one. This is a type of pizza. You might want to have in the restaurant as you don't want to lose the perfect crisp. I think the logo of the restaurant is super cool, also I was really surprised on how good the french fries and the smash burger was. Don't forget to get a gator, green fried Oreo, for dessert. Cute spot with a few tables and bar seating by the window/prep area. Service was great! read more

Horrible pizza. I've never had pizza from 7-11 but this is what I imagine it would taste like. It was an expensive pizza that was extremely small. This was like ketchup on crackers with some cheese. I highly recommend you keep on moving and don't order here. You will be disappointed if you've ever actually eaten pizza. read more

The staff was super friendly when I walked and and they got right on my order. Since I was starving I definitely appreciated that... the vibe of the place was a little lively with upbeat music. This is a pizza place so seating is limited to a few indoor high top bars and some small outdoor tables. Lots ex New Yorkers walking around here .... The pizza tasted good but when we arrived to pick it up, we pay $32 for a tiny pizza that barely feeds two people. For that amount of money, you can get top-notch pizza at Mister o1. For $32 you could get two small pizzas at Mister oh1. . I know people that are in the Pizza industry and it costs something like two dollars to make a pizza like that.. there's no need to overcharge people like that. Nice atmosphere but it's mainly a take out place. Came here for the pizza, which tasted okay, but nothing great. Plus, it's really small. For a few dollars more, you could go to Anthony's Coal Fire or Sicilian Oven and get a much bigger pizza and better tasting. The Smash Burger was also just okay and a bit small. The mozzarella sticks were the best part of the meal. There is really no bang for the buck here, just pricey and mediocre. read more

Decided to try something new and glad I did. Sure this is a pizza joint but a pizza joint with waygu smash burgers too!!! Yes please. I got the classic cheese pizza cooked the "pzza" way and it was good a bit greasy but really nice. Also tried the smash burger and side fries with homemade ranch and for me that out shined the pizza! The burger is 100/10 very good I will be coming back for that for sure. I'm a chef so I'm always a little bias cause I can make a mean smash burger myself but I'd gladly pay for this one. They also have a deal on Wednesday to get 25% off smash burger two thumbs up from me. read more

Hands down, one of the best pizza spots I've ever been to! The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the toppings were super fresh and generously portioned. Came for my first visit after a bad day and ordered a Roni w/ 2 beers. I watched my pizza get made in front of me while I had a beer so I know nothing "funny" happened to it. I was shocked that there was only one couple there aside from me. The atmosphere was nice with some classic rock playing and a TV if you wanted to watch. Pizza tasted amazing once it came out of the oven. The girl taking orders at the counter had a very friendly demeanor and made sure they knew how I wanted my pie cooked. I drove all the way from Miami Lakes to try this place, and it was definitely worth the trip! The social media posts aren't lying. This place can seem gimmicky from afar but the food is actually amazing. The service was good too, but mostly driven by what I assume to be the owner or manager. None of the other staff except for one really interacted. Regardless they were very nice and accommodating. You get what you pay for these days and although this place is a little pricey I will happily pay it again and again. We tried the burger, pizzas, and salad. All amazing. We will be back for sure read more

Had to wait for an hour to get my cheese pizza. When I got it, it was burning hot and the cheese was too melted, all of the tomato sauce and cheese literally almost dropped onto the floor. The pizza crust is really thin, a bit too burned on the bottom. Compared to my favorite Costco pizza, the slices are tiny, thin, and don't even taste good. The only thing I like is the crunch. That's it. The place is tiny but well decorated. Does have some inappropriate stickers on there, as long as kids don't look it's fine. Staff is fine I guess.
