Although my boyfriend and I cleaned our plates entirely with no crumbs leftover (just sauce marks lol), we felt like our food was just okay. When I saw Thai Cashew Noodles on the menu, I envisioned a thicker noodle diameter. But instead I had thin spindly ones. Also the thai cashew sauce was good, but it was pretty watery. I wish it had a thicker consistency. But I did like how the veggies tasted fresh and the avocado was so creamy. For the price ($20 CAD), I was expecting a pretty large portion but I was able to finish my whole entree. I normally have food leftover whenever I go out to eat, but I was surprised that I finished everything. With this price being the most expensive on the menu, I was let down. It was decent but not amazing. For me, I wouldn't come back just because there's other tasty and more affordable places in the area.

There was an adequate amount of shrimp, mussels and fish that came with the order and the pasta, which I believe is made in-house, was cooked perfectly. The bison was prepared to our liking - medium rare - but was missing more seasoning, for which I added some table salt to same. The gnocchi were fluffy, crisp and light. Bacon wrapped asparagus was standard and cooked well. I also ordered a moscow mule mocktail which was delicious. For dessert, we shared the Sous-Vide Chai Creme Brulee. It was rich, creamy and yummy and a great way to finish our meal. Our server was friendly and attentive. My friend and I stayed and chatted until 9pm only to realize we were the only ones left in the entire restaurant, which had cleared out much earlier despite being open until 10pm. To get inside the restaurant you have to enter through the main building doors and walking down a corridor. She enjoyed her dish as well. We both had a large drip coffee. The coffee was served in a generous sized cup so we thoroughly enjoyed our drinks. Noise was not a factor here as it is in so many places now. The cafe seemed to be clean. There's several tables of various sizes so finding seating should not be a problem. Overall I was very pleased with our morning coffee and breakfast experience although, strangely, the fellow behind the counter seemed somewhat indifferent to our being there. Maybe he was just having a bad day. The prices are excellent for the quality of food and coffee so I know that we'll return here.

I'd take 1/10 off because it wasn't very big and I could probably eat 3 of them in one sitting - but I am a heavy eater and I hadn't had breakfast. Probably better that it isn't bigger since I'm still awake at work and you probably don't want to eat a giant sandwich and then walk around shopping. I'll be back here soon to try another sandwich!
