I opted for the buffet, which I could access immediately, and my friend chose a Caesar salad and a cup of soup. We waited about 20 minutes for the drinks to come and thought maybe they'd bring her food at the same time. But that didn't arrive until 6:20. For a cup of soup that they scooped out of a pot and a simple salad. Unfortunately the salad was inedible when it came because the romaine was limp and drenched in dressing. To their credit, when my friend pointed out that she couldn't eat it, the server immediately offered to take it off the check. We eventually got out of the restaurant at 6:45 with enough time for our 5 minute walk to the venue. The buffet was okay, nothing stellar. I knew going in that buffets aren't going to be as good as off the menu items, but I took a look at it before I ordered and thought it would be ok. It was only $17, so it was not a expensive gamble. Nice salad greens tossed with Cucumber, tomato and red onions plus some pickled red cabbage as a topper. Hot foods were mashed potatoes and gravy, fried chicken , Swedish Meatballs, and mixed sautéed vegetables. It was all good tasting and I was satisfied with it, just not wowed. My friend thought the soup was more French Onion than French mushroom. But she liked the ooey gooey cheese on top.
