The $13.50 chicken plate

Great food and value. Chose them as one of the healthiest food court options and for their good Yelp ratings. The sample chicken tasted fresh and had good seasoning. The woman who eventually rang me up was quite aggressive. I had the combo plate and got grilled chicken in place of gyro meat for about $8.70. I got plenty of delicious warm rice, chicken, grilled onions and cucumber salad. I don't like tabouleh. I chose feta cheese, red onion slices, tomato slices, kalamata olives (too tangy!) and cucumber dip as my extras. The dressing needed more flavor. Overall it was a huge, satisfying meal. My leftovers will make a nice meal. Other toppings included black olives, shredded cheddar and jalapeño peppers. Oh, and the pita bread is great! Soft and warm. I like seeing them grill my meat and cut up the pita. The guy swiftly put the dip in the cups. I thought I ordered the meal with hummus but didn't get any. I just realized this. I paid the same price. No worries. I liked the pita with the cucumber dressing. Would definitely eat here again.

Pyramids Cafe at Opry Mills in Nashville is a great place to go for delicious food while you are shopping. I have really enjoyed the way that they prepare everything here. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need for the best meal.

What are you supposed to do when you have tickets to the Grand Ole Opry but have only half an hour to eat? Such was the plight of me and Jamie W. as we were readying for our first-time show there. We spent the day downtown and couldn't quite figure out whether we could eat there and brave the traffic. Alas, we decided to play it safe and quickly minimized our dining options to the food court at Opry Mills, the chaotic shopping mall across the way from the theater. I have to say this was one of the largest food courts I've ever seen in a mall as it came complete with a carousel (photo: http://bit.ly/1KFi4Z6). We were hoping to find a hot chicken stand but no such luck, so we were swayed by the loud-mouthed girl who was acting like a carnival barker getting people to come to her kiosk of Middle Eastern fast food. The minute we got up to order, we were treated like prisoners at a cafeteria as they kept motioning us to keep moving along even though there was nobody behind us. All the toppings were in front of us Chipotle-style (photo: http://bit.ly/1JfO18q), and the staff was ready to make mountains on plates. I ordered their premium item, the $8.29 Pyramid Club Plate. It was a combination of gyros and chicken with grilled onions, green peppers, mushrooms and melted cheese with a cup of tzatziki sauce (photo: http://bit.ly/1QiAZr0). I have to admit it wasn't terrible. It was actually quite a bit of food even for Nashville, although I frankly don't understand this Deep South habit of adding a pile of shredded cheddar cheese as a topping. There was quite a pile of fresh hummus on the side to go with the warmed pita wedges. I just wish they didn't feel a need to be so abrasive to passing customers like they were aspiring to be the Don Rickles of gyros stands. FOOD - 3 stars...big plates of gyros, chicken and hummus but cut the cheese if you know what I mean AMBIANCE - 3 stars...it's a big food court...take a seat, any seat SERVICE - 1.5 stars...rude, just rude TOTAL - 3 stars...I'll focus on the food which is middling and filling and filling to your middling

Dirty used bandaid found in my Tabouli Salad

HORRIFIC incident that happened to us at the OPRY MILLS location. I am NOT one to write bad reviews but this is alarming!!! Called public health and they said they couldn't get anyone out. I am posting this to prevent anyone from getting sick or being of risk. I got a tabouli salad there and ate almost half the salad when I discovered a USED DIRTY BLOODY BANDAID in it! We approached them about it and they not only did not refund us (which we don't care about the $5 or whatever it was) but when we told them they need to remove it- they put it to the side and then PUT IT BACK OUT AND WERE SERVING IT TO PEOPLE AGAIN! We've watched 5 other people eat it and still don't know how else to report it! We did send an email and talked to someone on the phone from Metro Public Health Department still trying to file a formal complaint with an incident number as well.

Words can't explain how pleased I am with this spot!!! Super friendly and consistent I have been here many times the experience is always the same food is awesome so are the people!!! Two thumbs up

I have been to pyramids a few times. After visiting many other Mediterranean restaurants in Nashville this is actually the freshest. For a food court restaurant this is actually pretty close to top notch. I ordered a gyro meat salad. The olives were not just canned, the lettuce, tomatoes, feta, cucumber sauce, and tabouleh was all above par. This is the best quick option in the area.

Just finished having a gyro at Pyramid café. Probably one of the best gyros I have had. The staff are quick and the food is right.

What time they open?

The mall opens at 10am; I imagine that would be their open time as well.

Physical Location & Service: The space itself is great. It's clean, airy, and thankfully cool, which is a lifesaver in a Nashville summer. There's also plenty of seating available. The cashier and the workers were friendly, which was a nice touch. Food & Flavor: This is where it all fell apart. I got the build-your-own bowl with the Mediterranean harissa chicken. I'm not sure if they got the memo that this is the home of hot chicken, but the harissa chicken was completely bland and not spicy at all. The rice pilaf was a major letdown--super under-seasoned and crunchy, like some of the grains were uncooked. The tzatziki sauce was also underwhelming, just an unseasoned yogurt mess with no flavor. Value: All of that came to $17 for a very unsatisfying meal. I wasn't expecting an authentic Greek experience, just something Greek-adjacent, and this felt more like something from a bland potluck. Definitely not worth the price for the quality of food received.

I've wanted to eat at Fattoush Café since I moved to Nashville, but I've never found myself in that part of town at meal time. We walked in and found a cozy atmosphere, with no pretense. A single gentleman behind the counter, who may have been the owner, begged our indulgence as none of his employees had shown up to work that day. We were fine to wait given the delicious smells coming from the grill. He asked us if we wanted the chicken shawarma, and then apologized because he was freshly cooking a batch and it would take 15 minutes to be ready. That was music to our ears. Any Mediterranean restaurant that cooks proteins to order shows great promise. We had a chicken Shawarma salad, and the super platter. The portions were tremendous, the proteins were spectacular, and the tzatziki and spicy sauce both tasted looked and smelled homemade. The hummus was some of the best I've had in this town. The total for two huge meals, that really fed us each twice, was a paltry $40. The man behind the counter thanked us for coming in, again thanked us before we left, and was genuinely kind and seemed happy to have us in the restaurant. Very highly recommended for an amazing Middle Eastern meal on Charlotte Pike near downtown Nashville.

Serving food that took time, but was delivered with quality in mind. Not skimping just to get through the rush. 2. Locals were happy to recommend options, and staff/owner made how they like. No one disappointed me, just wish I had a larger appetite. If you like authentic food cooked from the heart, try it out.

And everything else that I've tasted was really good. The price isn't too bad, its definitely not cheap though. Main issue is that their delivery service is very unpredictable, it usually ranges from 40 to 90 minutes. If my ex boyfriend called, it would usually take about 20-35 minutes. That's right! there's a difference! I noticed this pattern and asked my then boyfriend to discuss it with the guys that work there... apparently since they all shared Middle Eastern backgrounds, these guys really liked my ex boyfriend. They thought it was so cool that he was Israeli and they respected him because he was a male! I can't believe it, these punks take longer to feed me because I'm a woman! Well, scarew a you!
