The gyro I bought was authentic! The taste was awesome! I ordered a Greek salad as a side and you could tell all the veggies had been cut fresh! The place was really clean! I'm definitely coming back! read more

The ordering process is weird. The food is good. It kind of reminded me of a lunch counter, but I had no idea what the hell I had ordered by the time I was paying for it. What I thought was a barbecue gyro sandwich was actually a platter. Wasn't put off, it was still pretty legit. The meat / rice combo was good, the hummus was good, the tabbouleh was freaking excellent. I'm stuffed and I would eat more of it in a heartbeat. I still might. read more

About the best gyros in Nashville. Id give 5 stars but I actually hate going there. They constantly try to get your attention (I know Im at the mall, but still) and once they have you, they ignore the paying customer to try to get the attention of other passers by. Plus they're just too pushy with suggesting extras. Dont freaking guilt trip me, just give me my food. Food is AWESOME but the staff is just offputting. read more

Excellent food and quality. Customer service is fantastic. This place is so much better than what you expect from a mall food court. Great meal and service all the way around! read more

Amazing service !!!! Great tasting food and the efficiency of their counter is really impressive! Can't wait to eat here again !!! read more

Absolutely delicious! We were meandering through the mall and tried a sample of the chicken. Tender and so flavorful!! I had the gyro plate and my husband had the chicken plate. Very generous servings(had to get a to go box) ! We will definitely return to eat there again. read more

I absolutely LOVE this place everytime im I'm ten to visit my family I have to try it I miss it so much this is my favorite gyro sandwiches ever. I haven't been able to find some this good. By far the best Greek restaurant I've ever had and I love every minute of it. I've been going since they first opened up at hickory hollow mall. Way back in the days. read more

My mom got the Gyro sandwich with salad and I got the grilled chicken gyro with fries. Gyro: The pita was piled high with meat, but they were really skimpy on the gyro toppings. My mom thought the lamb was overseasoned, but not much you can do about a pre-seasoned leg of frozen meat. Chicken Gyro: Unlike other gyro places I've tried in malls where the chicken is cooked fresh, the chicken here is already precooked. All they are doing is cutting it up and reheating it up on the grill which I didn't like. When asked if I wanted cheese on my gyro I said yes, but they didn't actually mean my gyro. They meant did I want melted cheese on my chicken as the reheated it on the grill. My toppings were also skimpy even when I asked for extra lettuce and ranch, The chicken was not seasoned well and the addition of melted (American??) cheese did not appeal to me. Fries and salad: The fries were hot and crispy with a nice amount of seasoned salt on them. The salad consisted of a dressing over cucumbers, tomatoes, and some lettuce. Both of us enjoyed our side items. Definitely would not eat here again because the food concept is definitely more of "fast food" then of fresh food. I can go to a local gyro place and get the exact same grilled chicken gyro but actually have it cooked fresh for me. read more

Wished we could have tried it. Unfortunately the man taking orders out front jumped back from a Guide Dogs For The Blind specially trained service animal so we never made it past him. I explained the dog was on a harness, and specifically trained to assist the blind, the man taking orders recoiled and stepped back sharply. So we left. Please consider your customer's different abilities and need for specially trained service animals. It's unfortunate when customers are treated without respect. read more

The food is ok but employees are so rude and yell at you to come and eat their food! They change prices all the time and say $11.42 then $12.42! They yell move on down and you feel like you are cattle and wait for your food! The employees need to realise this is not Egypt and we don't change prices here at all! And always yelling at people to eat! Really! The food isn't good at all and they just want you to eat here then yell at you to move on down! I wish I never ate here because they kept trying to get me to eat here everytime I went in the food court!!!!! We are not in Egypt and don't care about your ways or what you did! Don't yell at everyone to come eat here then say move on down! !!! Avoid this place! read more

I gave 3 stars just out of fairness because we did not actually eat there, so we may have really loved it. But as someone below already mentioned, the employees obnoxiously yell and scream at potential customers and this put us off from wanting to try the food. We were standing way back, simply trying to read the menu and regardless of the fact they were already busy with people right at the counter, 2 or 3 of the gals working there endlessly -screamed- at us... "try our fries", "here is a sample", "here is a menu", "blah, blah, blah..." yeesh, this was too much. I don't like being yelled at, and figured that if they are that desperate, there must be something wrong with the food. Give it a try if you don't mind obnoxious behavior, sounds like most people here like the food, but if you prefer to be treated decently, you will be better off somewhere else. read more

Just finished having a gyro at Pyramid café. Probably one of the best gyros I have had. The staff are quick and the food is right.

Chicken gyro plate was prettttty tasty...but the cucumber salad lacked some crispness for me.

This isn't your run-of-the-mill fast food garbage. The food is always fresh, the employees are always super nice, it's clean, and quick. What more can you ask for, especially at a mall? Walking up to the place, you may feel a little like you're at a carnival and the staff are the carneys coaxing you to their games. Don't let that distract you. This place is worth a little aggressive advertisement. read more

Awesome gyros!!! Yummy tabouleh. Really nice staff. The food was fresh and delicious. You wouldn't think a place this good was in the mall. Can't wait to come back. read more

Great food. And always great service. They are very friendly and make sure you get exactly what you want. Even if you don't know how to pronounce it! read more

Great real food at a great price. Not to mention that the staff is always helpful and friendly. The food and the ingredients taste great and fresh. I have been coming here for the last 4-5 years and they have never disappointed me. I missed them a lot when I was away from Nashville for over a year read more

Absolutely delicious! I despise malls but when I do come to Opry Mills this is the only place I'll eat. Fresh food, nice people, and they are really accommodating on whatever you want. No rice? Ok great, how about more salad? Yes, please. Definitely recommend. read more

Best customer service and always great food. We are regulars, and today- our Diet Coke was flat. We were very hesitant about telling them, didn't know if it would do any good. They immediately apologized and gave us a 20 oz bottle Diet Coke with no questions asked. They really are wonderful with their customers satisfaction. read more

Never thought the best gyro in nashville would be inside the mall. You could taste that every ingredient was freshly made and or cut. read more

We tried Pyramids tonight for the first time and loved it! I got a chicken gyro plate. The chicken was delicious and generous in serving size. Hummus was excellent, and so was the taboulleh and cucumber salads. We enjoyed it all. We especially liked supporting the hard working, friendly and enthusiastic family that runs the cafe. Try it out the next time you're in Opry Mills! read more

I WAS a fan until yesterday when they sold me old beef. I remember thinking that it was already cooked by how quickly he took it off the grill. It still tasted o.k., but hours after I got home, I started having stomach cramps like I have never had before. I screamed and cried for hours. They were huge waves of pain. I tried some medicine since I wasn't sure if it was the meal and tried to sleep. I told myself if I woke up about 3 a.m. with the same pain I would go to the emergency room and get my stomach pumped. I did wake up about then and the pain had SLIGHTLY gone so I took a pain pill and went back to sleep. I woke up an hour or so later, feeling I needed to vomit and I was glad because I thought that would be the end of it. I didn't vomit. I HURLED. And that is the difference in food poisoning and other ailments causing vomiting. This has happened to me only once before and that was on a ship, but I didn't have the terrible pain I had with this one. And now I have two rooms to clean, walls to wash, doors also, and much laundry .And it definitely was the beef. I have reported this to the Dept. of Health and I will never eat there again though it was my favorite restaurant, mall style.. read more

Best place I've ever eaten there chicken is amazing and there Philly cheesesteak is even better not to mention that they make it in front of you so everything you eat is freshly made read more

Worst place I have ever eaten/been to in my entire 24 years of living. The people just yell at you demanding you try the one piece of chicken on a stick. I ordered a gyro plate with a drink. Didn't get my drink and at that point to frustrated to care don't eat here read more

Ordered the gyro plate and was pleasantly surprised. The plate was heaped full of hot, fresh tasty food! Gyro meat was delicious as were the rice and salad. The hummus is some of the best I've tasted. I didn't expect too much from mall food, but this was a lucky find. It was enough for my husband and I to share. Would definitely eat there again. The only down side is the aggressive nature of the employees. I don't like being shouted at to try samples. But I will say that a lot of the vendors (food and merchandise) at this mall use this same tactic. The mall needs to stop to behavior. read more

The service was fast and friendly, the hot food was hot and tasty, the cold salad was fresh, the hummus was delicious as was everything on my plate! Very clean facility. I recommend ordering the food to take out because the servings are too large to eat at one sitting. read more

Great find in the mall! Food was delicious. As someone who has numerous iterations on the halal plate and gyro, this was definitely up there. Rice was a tad over-cooked, but the gyro meat, sauce, and condiments were great. The tabouli was incredibly fresh. read more

A great place to eat at in Opry Mills if you don't feel like waiting for a table at one of the nice sit-down restaurants. For the price you get a generous serving of great food along with a very courteous staff. We will definitely eat here again! read more

Cashier ripped me off $10...when I gave her a $20 she gave me back two ones and said I gave her ten. I requested to speak to the owner and he refused to do anything about it and said he would check his drawer at the end of the night and for me to leave my number and that he would call either way (in which he never called). Don't waste your time and chance to get ripped off, eat at one of the other reputable food establishments in this mall! BEWARE!! read more

I have been a customer of Pyramids for many years and have eaten at their restaurants at all the mall locations. The food is consistently good, the staff friendly, appealing presentation and a lot of food for the money. I think they have the best Gyro in Nashville! I also like to support local businesses; as this is not a national chain operation. read more
