Update: I was told I needed to try a new type of contact and they would call me in 3-5 days so I could pick up my trail pair.... 7 days later still no call. I had to call them on day 10 & the response was 'oh, sorry they've been here.' :-/ Sent hubby here for his glasses and same thing happened. They told him 7 days for the new pair to be ready... he called on Day 9 and was told the glasses 'didn't pass inspection so they have to redo them & it'll be another 7 days''. When we went in to pick up contacts and glasses the staff was pretty blasé... almost to the point of rude. It felt like we were interrupting them by walking in. Won't be returning. That is the positioning of a company that will be around for a long time and inspire people like me to give them rave reviews!! Many thanks for helping me in an hour of desperation! Even after moving to different parts of San Diego County, I continued returning because of the quality of care provided by Dr. Mashouf and the professionalism of the entire team. Recently, my glasses broke while I was playing with my sister's dog, and I stopped by the office hoping for some help. The experience started off a little frustrating, and I didn't feel my concerns were fully understood at first. However, after I asked to speak with a doctor, Savannah stepped in and completely changed the experience. She took the time to listen, looked into the situation, consulted with management, and followed up with me the next day. When my replacement glasses were mistakenly sent to an old address, Savannah went above and beyond by personally driving to the home and leaving her business card in an effort to help recover them. That level of customer service is rare. While the situation itself was frustrating, Savannah's professionalism, persistence, and willingness to help turned it into a positive experience. After more than 15 years as a patient, I can confidently say that Dr. Mashouf and the medical team have earned my trust. No office is perfect, but how a team responds when something goes wrong says a lot about its culture. The care, accountability, and follow-through I received reaffirmed why I've remained a patient here for so many years.

He did not try to sell me glasses I don't need or talk me into surgery I don't need. Instead of just leaving it at that, Robin went out of her way to call the Escondido location where I originally purchased my Gucci glasses and sunglasses to check availability. I have serious concerns about how they maintain patient information; its a borderline HIPAA violation. They require numerous forms be filled out, many duplicative; and you might consider having an Attorney review them before signing them and waiving so many of your rights. Despite filling out the forms online before the visit, the practice still requires you to sign more forms when you arrive and it seems the staff there has no way to retrieve them. So basically, your private information is out there somewhere unknown, and you have no idea how it is being used and who really has access to it. You should realize, EyeLux is a big corporation. Because of her outstanding service to her patients, I suggested to her that she seek another practice, or that she open her own office, rather than work for a company that requires you to waive your rights as a patient, asks repetitive questions, and doesn't appear to have any answers as to where your private information resides. That is why I suggest you avoid EyeLux.
