Recently, my glasses broke while I was playing with my sister's dog, and I stopped by the office hoping for some help. The experience started off a little frustrating, and I didn't feel my concerns were fully understood at first. However, after I asked to speak with a doctor, Savannah stepped in and completely changed the experience. She took the time to listen, looked into the situation, consulted with management, and followed up with me the next day. When my replacement glasses were mistakenly sent to an old address, Savannah went above and beyond by personally driving to the home and leaving her business card in an effort to help recover them. That level of customer service is rare. While the situation itself was frustrating, Savannah's professionalism, persistence, and willingness to help turned it into a positive experience. After more than 15 years as a patient, I can confidently say that Dr. Mashouf and the medical team have earned my trust. No office is perfect, but how a team responds when something goes wrong says a lot about its culture. He explained I had severe dry eyes and gave me a plan to help. It's been 2 months and having had eye pain for years, I no longer suffer. I now use Oasis artificial tears (preservative free), OcuSoft eyelid scrub and warm wet compress on eyes everyday. My eyes never felt better. He did not try to sell me glasses I don't need or talk me into surgery I don't need. One opthamologist even tried to put a needle in my eyes and wasn't giving me anytime to even think about it so I walked out. Give Dr Bloomberg a try. You will be very happy you did.

I did purchase my glasses here but because the provider gave me an incorrect prescription the staff wasn't helpful understanding the challenges of having glasses where you cannot see. It felt like conveyor belt service. I will opt for another optical warehouse for the future. They always look tense, stressed and upset. Not even a smile. That's not the Costco experience. I even lost the extra $50 Off a third pair due to needing a third pair for reading glasses after the revised prescription.

I have serious concerns about how they maintain patient information; its a borderline HIPAA violation. They require numerous forms be filled out, many duplicative; and you might consider having an Attorney review them before signing them and waiving so many of your rights. Despite filling out the forms online before the visit, the practice still requires you to sign more forms when you arrive and it seems the staff there has no way to retrieve them. So basically, your private information is out there somewhere unknown, and you have no idea how it is being used and who really has access to it. You should realize, EyeLux is a big corporation. Because of her outstanding service to her patients, I suggested to her that she seek another practice, or that she open her own office, rather than work for a company that requires you to waive your rights as a patient, asks repetitive questions, and doesn't appear to have any answers as to where your private information resides. That is why I suggest you avoid EyeLux.

My old glasses are still fine and the prescription didn't change.
