CB Fit - Climber class

I took my first class here with Alex sometime last week through ClassPass. The only reason I'm not…read moregoing back yet is because I was recently laid off and had to pause my membership. With that said, I really want to highlight how amazing and attentive Coach Alex was. She was incredibly supportive and helpful , even going as far as telling me that if she ever saw my name on the class roster again, she'd put together a workout that focused less on legs because of my disability. That level of awareness and care meant a lot. The front desk attendant was also incredibly sweet. Overall, it was such an amazing experience. The workout itself was fantastic, and I genuinely cannot wait to go back when I'm able to reactivate my membership. Highly recommend!

I signed up for an introductory class, super easy via there app, it was $20. I got there about…read more20min early and was able to find a spot in the lot. Ya'll this place will get you in shape in no time. I tried the Lagree class. The instructor was so nice and allowed me to switch over from the Climb x Boot Camp class when I showed up. I was also able to purchase a pair of grippy socks onsite for about $10. The music was good, the lingo will take sometime to learn, but I appreciated the instructor coaching me and helping to position me in the right position, and gave me words of encouragement. There was only 7-8 ppl in the class so I wonder what it's like when it's full. I appreciated the work out bc it challenged me to push myself just a bit more. I had a good sweat and worked my upper body to the point where my arms were going to give out on me, half way through but I kept pushing just a little more. I appreciated that there was no pushy sales person trying to get me to purchase a membership. Now I can give it sometime and a proper think. Everyone was pleasant and professional from the staff to the members in the room. Nicolette was subbing from Danville and she was a great instructor. Provided me with a quick history about how Lagree was established. I definitely hope to come back and try the climber/boot camp class.

Starting my fitness journey hasn't been easy, especially because I'm naturally a bit lazy and…read moreusually need a lot of motivation to get moving. I also have a desk job, so being active doesn't exactly come naturally to my daily routine. I also wanted someone with experience in training folks with a back injury. Working with Mario as my trainer has been making a big difference. Mario has been an incredible motivator and a real source of inspiration. He brings great energy to every session and knows exactly how to encourage you without making things feel overwhelming. His coaching style is patient, supportive, and very positive, which has helped me stay consistent even on days when I'd rather skip the gym. I'm still fairly new and haven't even explored all the machines in the gym yet. For now, I've mainly been following Mario's guidance, and I trust his expertise completely. The strength training workouts he has been recommending for both me and my wife have been excellent and well structured, challenging in the right way, and clearly designed with our progress in mind. He explains exercises clearly, corrects form when needed, and keeps the sessions engaging. He also knows how to push just enough to help you improve while keeping things safe and sustainable.

Joining TruFusion is helping as I don't believe I would push myself like I am here on my own. This is a great way to start the new year. They offer a large list of classes, pilates, yoga, HIIT, Barre, yoga, some are a combo, heated and non-heated classes. The instructors are great, so far my favorites are Maria and Desirae. Both are clear in their instruction and were able to see my struggle to offer modifications in a very humble welcoming way. TruFusion makes it easier for me not having to think of a training plan. I book my classes on their app up to a week ahead and show up. The value for what I am getting is worth it. I kind of wish I would've done it sooner. They have some intro promos. I def recommend taking advantage.

I was devastated when TruFusion SF closed last weekend, as it was my favorite fitness studio in the…read morecity. I've tried several other fitness studios in SF, but nowhere comes close to comparing with TruFusion with its extensive class offerings, motivating instructors who made classes so fun that I got hooked on them, and pristine facilities. However, I'm happy that the Walnut Creek location exists to fill the void. While it's not as convenient as the SF location was since I have to commute from the city, I'm still super grateful and know it's so worth it. My first time taking a class at the Walnut Creek studio, I arrived after my class started due to some traffic slowdowns. I was fully aware of the studio's "no late entry" rule, so I asked if there was anything I could do and explained my situation. The front desk staff were extremely kind and offered to switch me to a different class that hadn't started yet. I ended up taking a hot power vinyasa class, something I hadn't gotten around to at the SF location. I was a little apprehensive, since I don't know the names of all the yoga positions, but I needn't have been concerned. The instructor gave clear instructions at a reasonable pace, and at no point was I confused. I'm so impressed and definitely want to take a vinyasa class again. It looks like, for the foreseeable future, I will be spending my weekend mornings getting my sweat on and feeling the burn at TruFusion Walnut Creek. Can't wait to take more classes!
