Honestly this is the best workout + community in the area if you want to get stronger. I've been going for a year and have been feeling my strongest and healthiest since having kids. Workouts change everyday and they have weight options for very beginners to seasoned hardcore lifters. The trainers know everyone's names and are so encouraging, helpful and funny! Really positive and encouraging community. Book a class and have fun! read more

I absolutely ADORE Kahlia!! I met her through another studio & was able to book some personal training sessions with her. Even though I did not end up moving forward with this gym in particular due to other interests, I highly recommend coming to this location and making it your new home gym. By just meeting the owner Lauren and her wife, I immediately felt welcome, the 5am class (and all the other classes I'm sure) just screams community the way they encourage each other and celebrate each others milestones. Believe it or not, this is incredibly hard to come by. If you are looking for a gym in the area, give this place a try! read more

Would give this place more stars if I could! Hands down THE BEST gym I have ever been a member of!! I love the small classes but love the energy this place brings every single class even more! The Framework Family really has your back, whether it's your first class or 1000th! Everyone is always so encouraging and it really pushes you to do your best. I also have to mention how incredible all the trainers have been for me while pregnant. When workout moves got too difficult, they ALWAYS had a great alternative move for me to do so I could still get a great workout in . They also were always looking out for me late in pregnancy, making sure I wasn't over doing it or going into labor So, huge thank you to owners Jocelyn and Lauren for providing such a wonderful environment to workout in! Framework Fitness - Taken 2 days before due date! - Trainers Near Me - Walnut Creek, California

So I've been coming to framework fitness for about two to three years now. I try to go in two to three times a week if I can but with my schedule sometimes it is hard with family obligations. I have found framework fitness to be my personal escape. All of the instructors are amazing. They give me a sense of belonging and each and everyone encourages everyone to try their best. They push you to try your limits and at the same time also give you modifications if it is too hard. The instructors may not know it but each time I enter the class, they slowly chip away my insecurities I have about my body by showing and proving to me that I can indeed make a change to live a stronger and healthier life. I may not have the perfect body I want right now but framework fitness has given me the tools and mentality I need to be a stronger person. I can definitely say the person three years ago wouldn't have tried to do a tricep dip, try to balance on a balance board or even try to do knee raises but here I am today trying even though it looks ugly. Haha. So if you are looking for a fitness class that has awesome instructors and a fitness community that lifts everyone up then I highly suggest taking a class there. read more

This is a great place! Framework Fitness has quite literally changed my life. When I started going I had constant shoulder pain, terrible balance (due to an old injury), no grip, waning strength and low tone. Now, 2 years later, the pain is gone, my balance is hugely improved and I am stronger than I've been since college. The owners Lauren and Jocelyn are so welcoming and helpful. The instructors are excellent and motivating, each with their own style. Special shout outs to Khalia, Sado and Tony. Sessions are so convenient at only an hour yet provide a kick ass workout. Stress reduction is another great benefit. If you are looking for a new place for your fitness regime, this is it! read more

I've only been training at Framework Fitness for about three weeks now, but I am already noticing significant changes in my body composition, strength and endurance. Jocelyn has been a rockstar coach the entire process, providing creative workouts that are always the perfect balance between challenging and fun. I have to admit, after not working out for nearly three years, I was nervous to step foot in a personal training studio.. but Jocelyn has given me the encouragement and motivation needed to feel completely at ease, as I physically gain more and more confidence with each passing week. Lauren and Jocelyn have created a unique community of fitness lovers that really feels more like family. If you're thinking about taking that first step toward good health and longevity, Framework Fitness is a great place to start. Give it a few weeks and I promise, you'll feel the burn! ;) read more

I was searching for a trainer at my 1 year breast cancer diagnosis and got connected with Lauren. She invited me to visit the gym and then connected me to April! The gym is compact but has everything you dreamed of and things I never knew existed. It's super clean. They have two bathrooms, one has a shower. There are lockers and snacks too. I have been working out with April since March and I am always amazed that I am still standing after! The workouts are different each time so I never know what to expect. I travel quite a bit and April gives me travel workouts. She is amazing! read more

WALK In STRONG...WALK OUT STRONGER is their phrase on their wall which is exactly how I feel after every class. Initially, I was intimidated to join another new gym and I convinced myself to try their introduction class for $15, from then on I've been hooked. I've been really happy with the content, pace and intensity of the small group classes. The owners, Jocelyn and Lauren have created varied, functional exercises where each station is a terrific mix of strength training and cardio. Their motivating team of instructors provide you constant feedback to either modify a move or get you in proper form to prevent injuries. I love that they offer focused and personalized training in a small class setting. But what's remarkable is the family atmosphere here. Everyone takes the time to get to know you and you feel like a team. You're not just an anonymous member. It definitely takes away the uneasiness and the self consciousness of being in a fitness environment. If you're looking for a positive and encouraging spot, Framework Fitness is definitely it! read more

I had been out of the gym for several years and had just received unfavorable lab results from my latest check-in at my doctor appointment. I was one point away from being "pre-diabetic". I also have two young kids at home to think of. I knew it was time to get into the gym and start taking my health more seriously. I also knew that getting that $50 a month 24 Hour Fitness membership was likely going to be money down the drain. Like I said, I had been out of the gym awhile time and needed some help! I yelped every gym in Walnut Creek and contacted several, but Lauren the owner of Framework got back to me first. She set me up with a free training session with Jocelyn, the other owner of Framework. I was humbled in this intro session. Jocelyn put me through some simple exercises and I was gassed within 15 minutes. Instead of quitting I ended up coming back for more and more. I am now addicted to Framework. I have done training sessions with Jocelyn and group classes with Lauren, Jessica, Sadoe & Khalia and I walk out stronger each time! I started off at 202 lbs and 27% body fat. Within three months I am down 13 lbs and 7% body fat. I had to buy new pants because I have also dropped 6 inches in the waist. No matter what level of fitness you are in I highly recommend giving Framework a shot. The trainers are great, facilities are clean and it's overall just a wonderful atmosphere of people trying to live a healthier lifestyle. read more

I took a Framework Group Training class at random via ClassPass one day after work in January, and it is hands down one of the best things to have ever happened to me! Ever since that day, I've become addicted to working out there and frequently attend classes. Over the course of a few months, I have noticed such a significant change in my body - losing 25 lbs, slimming down, and toning up. Each class is never the same, focusing on many different areas of the body with various techniques. The overall vibe of the studio is amazing. The classes are tough, inspiring, motivating, and also so enjoyable because of the owners (Jocelyn and Lauren), additional instructors (Jess and Kahlia), and the people that attend the classes. I've never felt more comfortable or motivated going into a fitness studio. I love the Framework fam! read more

The workouts are great. The camaraderie is great. The Framework team is great. 5 stars all the way!! Love this place:)

If you hate the gym but want to get strong, this is the place! My whole life I have been a gym rat. I have competed in two bikini fitness competitions. After too many years of long lines for machines and questionable cleanliness at 24hr fitness, I quit my gym membership. I work at flywheel and regularly take a reformer class, so staying in shape is not a problem. Staying strong was what I need an extra push with. I have been working out with Jocelyn for a month. I feel like an NBA all star when she trains me! read more

Framework Fitness - Trainers Near Me - Walnut Creek, California

Framework is the BEST! I had been lifting at commercial gyms for three years until COVID hit and gyms closed, and was having a miserable year of no workouts when I was introduced to Framework in November. Here's what I love about Framework: Workouts: The workouts are a blend of strength and cardio, with different muscle emphasis throughout the week. The circuit style class keeps it fun and challenging, but it's still enough weight focused lifting for me to feel my muscles growing stronger again. The instructors ensure the class is challenging for everyone in attendance, no matter their specific strength or growth areas. Instructors: All the instructors are super kind and authentic, and they take the time to ensure everyone in class is having the experience they need. They quickly notice if a move is being done incorrectly or a modification is needed, and it definitely feels more like group personal training than larger exercise classes I've been to. It's even more fun than personal training I've done in the past, because there is the added benefit of working out with a group of people. Community: It's such a great energy at Framework - everyone is nice, uplifting, and encouraging. You see the same people in many classes, and the owners really make it feel like a family vibe. I've been to studios where I felt out of place or slightly judged, and Framework feels very inclusive and welcoming. Safety: With COVID, this is important, and Framework is super adaptable. They have a full on outside tent setup, everyone wears masks, and we wipe everything down between stations. The studio is super clean, and you can tell they are serious about following precautions and providing us a safe space to workout even in these times. I'm so grateful for Framework! read more

I found Framework when I practically stalked one of the owners, Jocelyn, after meeting her for personal training at 24 Hour Fitness almost 5 years ago. The first class I took at the group training studio in November of 2018 was so humbling and challenging I almost didn't come back, but I'm glad I did, over and over again. The instructors are all experienced and skilled personal trainers, paying personal attention to each person. They have great energy, composure and truly care about the people in the class, remembering personal details, quirks, and injuries, offering modifications as needed. They teach proper lifting form and technique and each instructor has their own strengths. They never focus on weight loss or aesthetics as the primary goal and instead encourage building strength and confidence. Throughout this COVID adventure, they ramped up within less than a week, offering virtual classes almost right away, and making themselves available and truly offering the best quality of service, without compromising their standards. I now attend their outdoor classes and they are a breath of fresh air (literally). They practice safe and clean standards while instructing outdoors. Going to framework is often the best part of my day! read more

Framework Fitness is in a class of its own! The owners, Lauren & Jocelyn, take immeasurable pride in providing challenging and fun workouts in a safe, welcoming, and CLEAN facility. They put a ton of thought into everything so you really feel like family when you walk through their doors. Every trainer coaches the same quality workout in their own unique way. You'll be sweating and smiling....maybe even dancing a bit. The Framework Fam is something special and I'm grateful to be a part of it. There's casual chit chat before and after classes, but the difference is the encouragement and support during class from others. The camaraderie is fantastic! All abilities are welcome and every trainer offers modifications for the exercises. Framework Fitness adapted seamlessly during quarantine to continue providing quality content through a variety of means - online, in the parking lot and in parks. They never stopped supporting its members or appreciating the value their services provide. I could go on and on about how truly amazing Framework Fitness is. Come give it a try or reach out to Lauren & Jocelyn with any questions. :) read more

I've been training with Jocelyn for about three months now and I have nothing but good things to say. I am extremely happy with my result and I will highly recommend. read more

Framework is the only place that has kept me exercising consistently. All the trainers are great! The workouts are fun, challenging, and different every time. Everyone in the classes are great and encouraging. I don't think I could go anywhere else now! read more

The best gym ever!! My wife and I have been attending group classes for about 4 months and we've never seen faster results as well as had a better time. The functional fitness workouts are amazingly fun and challenging and are exactly what the body needs. We absolutely love the way the workouts are laid out - each day is a different muscle group to allow each group to properly rest and recover between workouts. The owners and instructors are fun and extremely knowledgeable about form and technique to ensure that you stay injury free and continue to build functional, lean muscle. We've taken classes with every trainer and they are all a blast to workout with. Not to mention that the gym is always spotless. My wife and I have learned so much about our bodies, food, proper recovery and generated our fitness goals - to say the least. Oh, and we've lost about 45 lbs. between the both of us!! Thank you all so much - Jocelyn , Lauren, Kahlia, Sadoe, Tony, Jessica and Amber for bettering our lives. You're all really special to us. Wow, what can I say about this gym! The owners Jocelyn and Lauren are absolutely incredible and the trainers that they bring in are the best too! I have been coming to this gym for a little over a year now and from the moment I stepped through the doors I felt like part of the family. Even through this pandemic, they have made an effort to bring classes online and then later on having classes in the parking lot outside of the gym (properly social distancing of course). I would never survive the pandemic without this place. Despite the countless hurdles they've had to endure, this studio and its owners and instructors have been the one constant thing I've been able to count on over the past few months. Their ability to change plans in a heartbeat with the constantly-evolving state of affairs has been nothing short of amazing. Whether it's the pandemic, government orders, extreme heat, or horrendous air quality, they will work their tails off to ensure that we are not deprived of our precious workouts in a safe and healthy environment. And make no mistake - they are precious! I wrote my first review for the group training studio about 18 months ago, and at that time, I was taking two classes per week. I've gotten so addicted to the format and the AWESOME instructors that I'm now up to 4-5 workouts per week. Whether it's in the parking lot or the zoom room, the 50-minute sessions are a highlight of each day. They provide a sense of normalcy, keep me healthy and fit, and provide helpful feedback and encouragement to make us stronger. They also continue to provide a sense of community (the "Fam") even when we have to socially distance ourselves. Finally, they CARE about us and put our health and safety first every step of the way. I can't say enough good things about this studio and how much I cherish it!! read more

I love this place! It has become my home away from home! The trainers are all great but I especially love my trainer, Kim. I never thought I'd look forward to working out, especially at my very senior age, but I feel very accomplished after my workouts. Wow.. where do I even start.. So my fiance wanted to find a personal trainer for both of us to kick start our fitness, since we hadn't been that committed to our health and fell off of working out . He found and called Framework Fitness and I was honestly unsure of even the idea of a personal trainer since I recently had a horrible experience with one. I told him before we were supposed to meet with Lauren that I would hear what they had to say but I didn't want to commit to anything. Oh boy, was I wrong or what! We went into Framework Fitness to meet Lauren and talk about what some of our fitness goals are and to just get a feel of the place. The moment we walked in we both felt like part of the Framework Family. I can't brag enough about how genuine, friendly, and funny Lauren is. After we spoke with Lauren for a bit, she helped us evaluate what trainers would be a good fit for us. Our first workouts were complimentary to see if Framework Fitness was a good "fit" for us. My Fiance Ryan was paired with Mike and I was paired with Jocelyn. Jocelyn... is by far the most amazing trainer and human I have ever met and trained with. I feel like most trainers seem to be pretty basic with there clients: you workout and leave.. Jocelyn on the other hand is completely the opposite of basic. When I met with Jocelyn she had me tell her my goals and long term goals with my fitness and health. I did a weigh in and measurements. She then wanted to go over my eating habits and lifestyle. Jocelyn was also very genuine and I felt like she really gave me her time and attention with the millions of questions that I asked her. Jocelyn told me that I could text her with any questions that I had when I wasn't training.. and she meant it. It really makes a person feel good to know that someone genuinely cares and they are committed to you reaching your goals . After my a$$ kicking workout( which was amazing), she gave me workouts to do at home on the days I wasn't training with her and she gave me a meal plan to follow which I love. In doing all of this I hold myself a lot more accountable because not only do I not want to let Jocelyn down but I don't want to let myself down.I told her I stopped eating meat and that I wasn't getting enough protein and nutrients from taking on this new plant based diet.. in the meal plan that I was given she gave me other sources of protein I can have and it was perfect. I have been working out with Jocelyn for almost a month now and I feel amazing. I feel like I am getting stronger and seeing results, which pushes me that much more. I'm always excited to see how Jocelyn will push me every session and I feel amazing after I leave! Come to find out I work right next to Framework Fitness !! which is even better! I definitely recommend Framework Fitness to anyone who is serious or wanting to get serious about their fitness journey! the prices are reasonable and the trainers are all amazing!! I started working out with Jocelyn at Framework Fitness two times a week approximately 6 weeks ago. I'm the kind of person who needs hands on direction for strength training otherwise it won't happen! Jocelyn took time during my first appointment to get to know my needs and capabilities as a baseline to be able to build structured workouts to guide a starting point. I have noticed gains in strength over time. Jocelyn creates workouts that are challenging and fun. Often times the moves are complex so I'm working more than one body part at a time. I appreciate the care that is taken to keep good form and avoid injury. After each workout I feel like I've worked hard and I feel tons of endorphins. I really, really look forward to my sessions and enjoy them so much. I think this personal training gym would be great for an experienced athlete as well as a person who is new to working out. Other positives: There is a huge variety of equipment available to be able to do any of kind of training like TRX, kettle bells, weights, etc. There is even an orthopedic treadmill (it's great-I tried it) and a great rowing machine. This gym is CLEAN. Some places smell musty but not here. Today I saw Lauren swiffering part of the floors. There is a doggy mascot. Oly is a sweet treat and likes to greet dog-friendly guests. Parking: there is metered parking available even though it is so close to downtown WC. Water: there is a filtered water station and it is SO good. I'm picky about water. Also... Jocelyn and Lauren are both truly positive people. They are a joy to be around. I haven't worked with other trainers there but I'm certain you would be in good hands with anyone there. Worth every penny! read more

If you've ever been nervous or intimidated to join a gym, look no further. Lauren and Jocelyn are devoted to your health and fitness and accomplish it with dignity and respect. From personal training sessions (I've been with Kim - a personal trainer at Framework - for years)to group training, you are welcomed from the moment you cross the threshold. It's the best experience of my day. It's a must do. Check it out. You won't be disappointed! read more

I cannot recommend Framework Fitness enough! I flew in from Chicago to stay with family for two weeks and found them when I was looking for a way to keep up with my strength training and HIIT classes while away from home. I not only kept up with it but actually feel stronger than I did two weeks ago, thanks to FF. The classes are fast paced and offer the perfect blend of cardio and strength, with awesome instructors and playlists that make the workouts FUN in addition to offering a killer workout. I found FF right as they were reopening and couldn't have felt safer. In addition to be super clean, the gym has large doors at the front and rear of the building, offering excellent ventilation. Plenty of class times to pick from and easy parking in the back of the building. I'm already looking forward to my next round of classes when we are back in the area over the holidays! Beyond fortunate to have found Jocelyn, Lauren, and the rest of the Framework Fitness team/community! read more

I avoided the gym completely after gaining a ton of weight. I knew it was my fault for packing on the pounds, but I couldn't find the drive to do anything about it. Then I found Kim Pettit at FrameWork Fitness. She is amazing! I'm not just dropping pounds, but she is teaching me how to be more fit in all aspects of life. The gym environment is really relaxed and it is not like a high traffic gym where people are there just to socialize or watch the big guy like me sweat and work a machine like I am dying. Instead, it's personal training that is always different and tailored to my specific needs. If you are like me and don't know where to start, and haven't done any kind of exercise in years, then you should check out the trainers at FrameWork Fitness. You will be glad you did.
