I 'got busy with life' after having my baby, and waited a long time before contacting her. If I had only known how amazing she is, I would 1000% have reached out to her sooner! She is kind, motivating, extremely knowledgeable, super organized, and makes every workout so fun. She has a very holistic approach to personal training- really understands you as an individual, and helps you figure what works best for you physically, emotionally, mentally, dietarily within the constraints of daily life hustle and bustle.  I have never been a 'gym person' or an exercise person (I'm someone who would always choose an elevator over stairs, a brunch over a jog together, etc.), but I absolutely look forward to and LOVE meeting for our training sessions. She makes them so enjoyable, and I feel so energized from our workouts on the days we meet. Starting personal training with her is 100% the best decision I made in a long time. She understood and was respectful of my (basically zero) baseline, knew how to work on/with my knee/arm injury, and has helped me work through my postpartum body struggles and weaknesses. I have lost weight/inches, gained muscle tone, don't feel as tired in my daily life when climbing stairs or walking uphill, my skin feels way nicer, I can see the difference in my resting heart rate on my Apple Watch, and this is definitely the strongest I've ever felt.  I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a personal trainer. As someone who approaches exercise with caution (accident and injury prone) she always listens to me and is ready to modify. As someone who battles a critical inner dialogue- I have found her style to be just the right amount of push and pull. I have really become more aware of the voices in my head when it comes to what I believe I am capable of doing. The workouts she plans for me are targeted to meet me where I am. Our sessions go by so fast and she is always so present and a good listener. I am proud of the progress I have made working with her-such a great feeling- you should try it!

    CC is the best!!! I am not new training but I know that there are still so much to learn. I've…read morelearned soooo much in just a few weeks. Turned out I've done some movements incorrectly that cause past injuries I started with CC a few weeks ago but in such a short time, I can already see the result. He breaks down each exercise and explains things in a way I can understand. I am the type that overthink too much, ask too many questions, and need to watch and rewatch and rewatch every movement before it makes sense to me.. he's so patient despite my never ending questions. Most importantly, he makes it fun! It's never one or two boring movements, it's always something new and every little movement builds up my strength. Some of the things I've learned to do since I started: mace (google it; it doesn't look hard but boy, it's one of the most challenging exercises I'm still struggling with); kick and punch (like for reals), and a bunch of core works I absolutely detested and have slowly learned to like (not love, just like). CC is one of the best decisions I've made in my fitness journey!!

    The person who runs the place is a horrible human being. My son takes some classes at the center…read morenext door and we have been parking behind the common building for a year ( i was told we could). Bur apparently 2 weeks ago he put his sign on the parking. It would be nice to notify the lady who runs children center in writing so she can notify her clients. The sign is very blurry and hard to see in the dark. He could have left a warning note on the car but instead he chose to tow it leaving me and my 10 yo son stranded without jackets and a wallet on a cold rainy day. On top of it all the tow company stole our identity from a credit card (it was the only charge over the past 2 days and very soon we got a fraud alert). I wouldn't be supposed if this man has a financial gain from involving tow company otherwise I can't see why simple note wouldn't be enough at first.

I looked personal trainers up on yelp about year or so ago, did a lot of reading and decided to give James a shot. James is a master of his craft - he's methodical, he's been guiding me through the process of self-improvement, he listened to my goals and he delivered results, which ultimately is what I wanted. We have been doing weights/stamina training, each session is unique and keeps me engaged for the whole hour. We always work different groups of muscles - upper body, lower buddy, etc. As an example - I went from 110lbs bench-press to 2 plates+, and so forth.. Educated and credentialed: James has a Master's Degree in his field of practice. His foundational knowledge helps deliver a great workout with great techniques that prevent injury. He's also delivered a great education to me just by the advice and Q&A I have during our time together, which is very important to me. 2. Experienced: he's been doing this for a long time and knows how to deliver results. 3. Personable: I now even consider James a friend, BUT he does not waste time during our hourly sessions chatting away. We get a very good workout in that hour for sure! That being said, I still have a lot of fun during our workouts! 4. Listening skills: He listens very well about any "issues" I'm having with my body. Past or current injuries are assessed and strategies to heal and strengthen the particular area are implemented. 5. Nutritional guidance: James, coupled with his educational background, is very knowledgeable about nutritional matters. I now know a lot more about WHY I'm eating this vs. that.
