I not only reached my goals, I more importantly gained a solid understanding of proper strength training in order to maintain and sustain my long term health objectives. What I enjoyed most working with Drew were the tough workouts and the feeling of success as my body composition improved. I loved learning correct technique and actually feeling the physical changes as they happened! Drew encouraged me to push myslef, both mentally and physically, all while considering my capabilities within certain physical limitations. I always felt like he had my safety and well being in mind, something that I found lacking in coaches I had worked with in the past. Drew pushed me, but with the utmost thoughtfulness! Some of the biggest benefits I experienced were: learning that I can stay disciplined, seeing huge strength gains, and building confidence in my ability to perform my work duties safely and competently with my strength gains. Drew helped me step into a stronger version of myself in every sense! I wholeheartedly recommend Drew for your personal training needs!!! I already have shared his name with several friends and family members. He is extremely knowledgeable, his workouts are thoughtfully designed for my specific needs and concerns, and he is a fantastic motivator who truly cares about my success and well being. He is flexible and understanding when life situations come up, which made the entire process feel supportive rather than stressful. Drew has a remarkable way of motivating and inspiring while keeping my safety and avoiding injury at the center of everything. He is highly educated and great at explaining techniques, mechanics, and training strategies, and he always took the time to answer any questions, even after our sessions ended. Drew has never once come across as a salesperson, which I have experienced with other trainers before him. Working with Drew has been a pleasure and aid give him another 5 stars if I could! I also plan to work with Drew again down the line, once I am able to save for another session set! Thanks for everything Drew- ai didn't know I could get so far, and learn so much, with such huge body comp changes! Can't thank you enough, sir! Go work with Drew at Fitness Ellipsis- you won't regret it!!!

I also hadn't exercised in years, so I wasn't sure what I was even capable of anymore. Working with Drew completely changed that mindset. I discovered that I could build strength and stamina, even with the pain and physical limitations I thought would hold me back. He adapted every exercise to work around my discomfort and focused on strengthening the muscles that support my joints. I realized I'm far more capable than I ever imagined. I truly enjoyed the workout routine and the way Drew gradually increased the difficulty, it kept me challenged but never overwhelmed. I always felt supported and encouraged. Finishing a workout left me feeling proud, energized, and ready to take on the day. And I have to admit, I really enjoyed losing weight, too! Some of the biggest benefits I've experienced include improved strength, greater stamina, and much better posture. I would absolutely recommend Drew as a personal trainer. He's incredibly knowledgeable and created a personalized program just for me. He emphasized proper form in every movement, which kept me injury-free throughout. He even provided a nutrition guide that helped me lose weight and develop healthier eating habits. Drew is attentive, supportive, and truly invested in helping you reach your goals, he genuinely celebrates your progress right along with you. And I'll always remember his little coaching gems like "squeeze the lemon" and "last one, best one"!

He is truly knowledgeable in proper form and the training I acquired from him have transcended across time and gyms I have gone to since then. I started to go to a new gym in the area I live in now and although the trainers there are great they do not compare to the proper training I received from Bob. Even when working out at other gyms not affiliated with bob I am always complimented on my form and technique. Anyways if you're looking for a gym that is really going to slow things down, to learn the basics and push you to be the strongest you can be I recommend ITG.

The trainers are super approachable, friendly and excited about fitness. I love all the outdoor activities they offer such as the stair group, trail running and foundation. It's nice to have that community feel outside the gym. I have been going to see Rich for years and he keeps getting better and better. Classes usually start with a warm up, dynamic stretches, some cardio and or foundation. That takes about 7 minutes and the remainder of the class is dedicated to the workout, usually intervals, but he does switch it up quite a bit. If you are looking for longer periods of cardio I would try one of the classes offered on the weekends, such as the stair group....that's a killer workout. I love the variety of classes ranging from mobility and foundation to intense interval training and strength. This is a small gym and there no showers that are offered at the larger gyms, but it's not intimidating, they offer reasonable prices and everyone from the trainers to the members are super friendly. Give it a try!!

I was very unhappy with my health. My goal at that point was to some day do a triathlon. Some day . My last review was 6 mos into working through personal training. Since then I switched over to group training. I do at least one class a week. Well, I did achieve my triathlon goal. In August 2015 I did my first sprint triathlon. In October my first Olympic distance tri. In December my first half marathon. Then this past October I completed a half Ironman! Over this time I have not had any significant injuries. I have consistently been able to set higher goals and meet them. These changes happened because of the culture of fitness I was introduced to by PMPT. We've always focused on form and discipline. It's never been about higher weight, more reps, or any degree of competition. I learned the value of slow, incremental gains. Let me also preface that this is all completely new to me. I had never been an endurance athlete nor a gym head. My time with PMPT represents the most significant period of fitness in my life. Ive never done anything like this before and I know I would not have if PMPT hadn't been part of the shift in my culture. In March my first Marathon awaits. Then the full Ironman calls...someday. I know that PMPT will be part of getting me across the finish line.

For most of my life, I was obese and I had resigned from ever dieting again. One mention of the word "diet" and it made me want to eat. Working out didn't last long either -- I wouldn't see results and then I would throw in the towel. Or I would lose weight, only to gain it back. After the first week, however, I felt like I was given something versus having something taken away. I was empowered. I felt like someone was actually listening to me and my body type. Randy understands it isn't a "one size fits all", but a more customized and individualized solution. He gave me parameters on how many calories and macronutrients to eat, based on my body composition... and do I dare say it has been easy??! I'm not hungry and actually eat less than I am allowed, and I don't feel deprived. Furthermore, in our supersized country, I feel I am finally learning moderation. Training wise, I'm able to do things I've never fathomed before. I have had trainers in the past, but I would grow bored and feel like I'm doing the same dreadful exercise with little results. Randy knows your strengths and weaknesses. He knows how to keep it exciting. He doesn't believe you should have to live in misery, but at same time he will find a way for you to reach your goal, enjoyably. That doesn't mean there isn't hard work -- it's all hard work. But somehow.... I'm nearly halfway towards my goal in a relatively short amount of time and am excited for what is yet to come!. And I could not have done it without Randy. THANK YOU Randy! :)

He had just the right amount of motivation without seeming too pushy. He explained the purpose of each exercise and the benefits of doing them in the specific order. The rest periods seemed appropriate. He was insistent on proper form and explained precisely why. I must admit I was impressed with the guy from the start. I felt good after the introductory workout and knew that this is the place to come. The individualized attention is definitely there. Only one other guy with his trainer was there with us. No waiting for anything. For all this knowledge and expertise, one is going to pay appropriately. As he explained this is a lifestyle change. Nutrition advice will be offered. He has a 12k body composition machine to track the progress. On display in his office area is a pound of fat and a pound of muscle.
