I signed up for an introductory class, super easy via there app, it was $20. I got there about 20min early and was able to find a spot in the lot. Ya'll this place will get you in shape in no time. I tried the Lagree class. The instructor was so nice and allowed me to switch over from the Climb x Boot Camp class when I showed up. I was also able to purchase a pair of grippy socks onsite for about $10. The music was good, the lingo will take sometime to learn, but I appreciated the instructor coaching me and helping to position me in the right position, and gave me words of encouragement. There was only 7-8 ppl in the class so I wonder what it's like when it's full. I appreciated the work out bc it challenged me to push myself just a bit more. I had a good sweat and worked my upper body to the point where my arms were going to give out on me, half way through but I kept pushing just a little more. I appreciated that there was no pushy sales person trying to get me to purchase a membership. Now I can give it sometime and a proper think. Everyone was pleasant and professional from the staff to the members in the room. Nicolette was subbing from Danville and she was a great instructor. Provided me with a quick history about how Lagree was established. I definitely hope to come back and try the climber/boot camp class. read more

I've returned to taking regular classes here after a long break and wow wee these are still quality workouts. Returning to the Megaformer even after hundreds of classes is still a VERY humbling experience. The slow and intentional movements of the Lagree method have left me with Bambi legs on multiple occasions. On days I need more cardio, I take the Climb X Bootcamp classes, which also give me an effective full-body strength workout. CB Fit is always constantly adding, modifying, and evolving with the times. Whether they're adding new equipment, upgrading to the Lagree 2.0 format, or incorporating client feedback, their constant commitment to improvement is why I'll definitely keep showing up. read more

I took my first class here with Alex sometime last week through ClassPass. The only reason I'm not going back yet is because I was recently laid off and had to pause my membership. With that said, I really want to highlight how amazing and attentive Coach Alex was. She was incredibly supportive and helpful , even going as far as telling me that if she ever saw my name on the class roster again, she'd put together a workout that focused less on legs because of my disability. That level of awareness and care meant a lot. The front desk attendant was also incredibly sweet. Overall, it was such an amazing experience. I've taken climber classes with Markeia and Kahlia - both are awesome instructors!!!! The classes add some variety to my normal workout routine and I love how much you can control the intensity of your workout to meet your fitness level. The instructors provide modifications for the boot camp exercises and motivate you to push through when it gets challenging. There is free parking in the back of the studio and street parking is easy, too. You do need to reserve a spot ahead of time. The studio has an app where you can buy credits and book classes or you can do it via their website. There are cubbies to put your stuff in for convenience. read more

This review has been a long time coming. I've been going to CB FIT for around 2 years now. What keeps me coming back is not just the amazing method (love the slow & controlled movements) but the incredible instructors! Each instructor has their own unique teaching style and quirks, but they all are adamant about proper form and technique. I especially appreciate the hands on corrections. The instructors take the time to correct my form and ensure I'm engaging the right muscle groups, even after two years of attending. This class has state of the art mega reformers, lots of natural light and big mirrors, everything is clean, music is great, easy parking, and you'll be sore the next day! Everything I'm looking for. I CANT RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT CB FIT! I was introduced by my best friend about six years ago at the time I was in the gym 4-5times a week sometimes twice a day. when she invited me, I figured it would be no big deal.MAN was I wrong. I was so impressed not only with the tiny muscles i didn't know i had that were being challenged, but also the energy of the amazing instructors! I was in the best shape of my life! Time went on and I ended up getting a hip injury playing soccer (torn labrum). for a long time I made excuses not to work out at all.. finally about six months ago I decided I had to do something to move my body knowing i could not lift heavy in the gym, I wanted to see if this was going to bother my hip. since they offer options for modifications, I was able to slowly get my body back to where I needed it to be and I'm now doing all of the moves without modifications four days a week and I feel like I finally have my body and my mental health back thank you cbfit I love you guys! you guys are seriously changing the game and im so grateful! 500 stars! read more

Tried out a climb x bootcamp class and I loved it. Definitely a great workout. The parking lot is small and you must park in an unmarked spot. The climb room is very slim but it works. There's no lockers but cubbies. I would definitely go back to try the lagree class. read more

I needed to incorporate some strength training into my weekly fitness schedule and I'm so glad I found CB Fit! Lagree is so challenging but so rewarding. I never sweat (or it really takes a lot for me to sweat) and I leave the class drenched!!! Classes are never exactly the same and you get a full body workout in just 45 minutes (although it feels like 2 hours of results!!). Morgan, Pamela, Aurora & Kim are my go to classes and they're so friendly and helpful. If you want to incorporate strength training to help build muscle, tone your body and burn fat, I would def recommend CB fit. For context, I work a pretty demanding job and commute from the east bay to SF almost every day. I come here straight after a long day of work and I'm so glad I have great instructors that can guide me through a workout without having to think about what I need to do next. I've been going here for about 10 months or so and I've went to my fair share of studios in the Bay Area for lagree and I honestly just love CB so much. I live in Oakland and make the commute to Walnut Creek because I love all the instructors (I've seen about 20 different instructors) and love their lagree and climb classes. They offer so many classes throughout the day so it's convenient to snag a class! They have about 12 machines I believe on both the lagree and climb side. This review is so overdue! I love CB fit! The owners, Chelsea and Paul are so kind and caring! All the instructors are very encouraging and are always making sure that everyone in class is safe and having a fun time. I've made some amazing friends here at CB! There are two types of classes, Climb x Bootcamp and Lagree - all for the price of one membership. I tend to get bored easily but CB always has me coming back because every class is different. In Climb x Bootcamp, there are "climb" days and "strength" days. Additionally, in Climb x Bootcamp you typically have a "focus area" for the day (i.e. upper body, core, legs, etc). In Lagree, you will do different moves each class. You can sign up for any Lagree class on the schedule, as instructors will give you multiple modifications for each move, but there are different levels (Beginner Basics , Total Body (the "regular" class), and Advanced Lagree. Class sizes are average but every instructor I've taken is extremely attentive and will offer both visual and hands on modifications so no prior knowledge is needed. Front desk staff are always very welcoming and attentive to any issues and concerns. They take the effort to learn your name and schedule, which is a nice personal touch. There are two gender neutral bathrooms behind the front desk that also serve as changing rooms (pro tip: come a bit earlier for evening class as many people typically queue up to change). The bathrooms are always clean and there are hair ties, deodorant, tampons and body wipes available for free which is AMAZING! There are cubbies available throughout the room to store your items. Parking is available in the back but spots are limited and very compact. If you've been wanting to up your fitness game definitely give CB fit a try! read more

I'm hooked! I've been attending classes at CB Fit for almost three months now, and I can't get enough of it~ Lagree is not an easy workout class, but it is so worth it. All of the instructors are very supportive, and they would demonstrate the moves clearly so we wouldn't be confused especially for beginners. I really appreciate the instructors correcting my form and letting us know how to engage specific muscle groups. It motivates me be more intentional and mindful for each workout move. The instructors would also cheer us on and encourage us to push ourselves to our limits in the best way. The music choice is always on point, and I love attending their themed classes. First time here and I already fell in love with it. It's just so happened that I am really starting to like Lagree and then I saw they also have the X Climb! The area is clean and the staff is really nice. I live in Hayward and I had to drive here just so I can try it. My daughter lives in LA and she's been taking this class there once a week or so. I have seen only 2-3 cities that offers this class close to my area and they're all no less than 44 minutes drive. It's kind of too far from where I live though but I will come back again definitely. Parking is at the back of the building. Make sure to arrive 10-15 minutes earlier to get settled in. read more

I forgot I had been here before and had decided to sign up for their climb class the other day w Michaela. Reception at desk and michaela were both welcoming and friendly. It was a Great choice trying out this class, bcuz this class kicks your tushy! It was well paced cardio and strength building. And the music was so good, high upbeat tempo to get you pumped to workout. Prior to class, The Instructor showed me how the machine worked, so following the class and movements was on point. The best sweaty good time you'll have in Walnut Creek! I used to take co-owner, Chelsea's class when she used to teach Lagree Fitness at Core40 in SF. She always taught amazing classes. She's always so attentive, motivating, and energetic. Luckily, the stars aligned when my work needed me to visit our Walnut Creek office one day, and she was teaching that morning. I walked there from BART but there's easy street parking and they have a back parking lot. The studio is beautiful and the megaformers were spaced far enough apart. In the changing room they're even so thoughtful to have instead of the basic of deodorant, they have dry shampoo! Super important to me! And if others are concerned, they also have a hairdryer and makeup remover wipes. As always, Chelsea's energy and flawless cues get you through 45 minutes of pleasure and pain. And for those of you who want an extra oomph, CB Fit also offers Climb classes, which uses the Versa Climber. To my knowledge I believe CB Fit is one of only two Bay Area studios that offer this machine. It's basically a newer version of a stair master, but adds in an upper body component. They have a great intro rate/package and I quickly became obsessed with the challenge (NOTHING hits your core like lagree)!! Book your class now! The best workout and my happy place. Perfectly sized studio with super tall ceilings and perfect number of people in class for it too. I started going in my first trimester of pregnancy and went through 37 weeks. I was more fit during pregnancy than I was pre-pregnancy thanks to CB! They gave great modifications and Chelsea the owner is fantastic as are all of the people who teach there. Now that I'm post partum I'm still loving it! CB Fit is amazing! I started going here after working with a physical therapist post the birth of my second child. I was not doing a good job practicing all of the exercises from my PT, so it was recommended that I try out Pilates to help with consistency. CB Fit has excellent reviews, and it's what sold me on trying this place for Pilates Reformer. The music playlists for class are current and clubby - almost like the playlist you get at Soul Cycle, which makes it a fun experience. The instructors are very attentive and will adjust you during class to make sure you are doing the exercise correctly or provide modifications if you are pregnant or working through an injury. Finding CB Fit has helped me with not only my recovery post partum, but also my quality of life has greatly improved (I'm less injury prone). Another great workout studio in Walnut Creek! They have climb x bootcamp and megaformer classes, and they are very different but both highly effective and fun - in different ways of course :) They are held in different studios/workout locations with different equipment and setup. First and foremost - EVERYONE is so nice and welcoming here. No matter what. The instructors are so helpful and check-in a lot during class, especially if you are new. I have been frustrated at times (especially in the Megaformer classes, which are tough) and nobody ever took it as "rude" or anything like that. The instructors are all really positive and helpful and do what they can to provide clients with the best experience possible. Customers are always appreciated/valued and their priority and that is one of the reasons they are so successful. I have walked in here several times in a bad mood after a long day of work and the positive energy from the instructors and positive atmosphere turned that around. The workouts, as noted above, are really effective in different ways. Megaformer is a really great ab & leg workout, although you also do upper body. It's tough! The climb x bootcamp classes are held half on the climbing machines and half on the floor. There is fun lighting in the room and it is higher intensity. I highly recommend at least trying out this studio if you are looking for a reformer pilates class or a unique cardio/bootcamp class that you might not find elsewhere. read more
