I like to do escape rooms when I travel. I've done about 8 different puzzle rooms all around the US and this has one of the highest production values I've seen. It was a fun room. We did the Lost Temple Escape Room. The puzzles went well with the theme and made sense. We never had to waste time wondering what to do. We did get stuck when a puzzle malfunctioned but our guide quickly noticed and resolved the issue. We finished the puzzle in time and it was very satisfying. read more

This was my family's first experience with an escape room. We have done a few now since this one - and we are hooked! This may stand up to the test of time as being one of the better escape rooms we've experienced. The room and the decor, the storyline, the puzzles - all excellent. This was so much fun! Went with my mom and dad for a Mother's day activity and we had a blast. Awesome experience. We did the Seattle Fair (their newest) room and paired up with a team that was experienced with escape rooms. (Glad we had their help, as I think it's more difficult than the 7/10 difficulty listed on their website.) It was a great setup, very challenging, with a couple of cool technological aspects. We just escaped with 18 seconds left. It was an amazing experience and would happily do another escape room with Puzzle Break. This was my first attempt at an escape room and I think I have a new addiction. The mixture of technology and actual clues is amazing. We booked for Jan 2019, we had a group of 6 and it was everyone's first time doing this. We had a snafu with our booking but they worked with us and got it all worked out. We scheduled for the easy room, Eventide I think, and thank goodness we did! There were a ton of clues to figure out and I was amazed how well we did. We did get into the third room but only got 4 out of the 5 major clues to 'solve it' and 'escape' before our hour ran out. Still a ton of fun though. Paid for a private room for my husband's birthday. So worth it. We had so much fun, the room was hard. We were concerned it'd be too easy or too hard. It was just right. Pretty dang hard but we made it with 2 minutes to go! I can not say enough about the employees as well. A very nice young man took care if us and was delightful and helpful. We went to the newly opened room Escape the Lost Temple. It is super fun! This is my second time playing with puzzle break. Entering the room is as if we are in a cave with carved stone looking walls. The puzzle solving is a well mixed of logic puzzle and story interpreting. The prop are detailed designed and made and with all kinds of high tech like those fancy room escape computer games. Really impressive! My first escape room and some other friends' second, 4th, etc. not too many for anyone. 4 of us escaped The Eventide Departure with 3 minutes remaining and now I fear my expectations are set too high for future escape rooms. Atmospheric, great puzzle design, pacing, and room size for our crew of 4. I wouldn't want to be in there with a huge group but I think 5 is the max anyway. I can't wait to go back and try to remove our curse in the sequel room. read more

Beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. The puzzle was challenging and we were able to finish with minimum help. We only needed some help since the majority of our group had a health condition where we couldn't do a puzzle very well without asking. I've done a few puzzle rooms like Sherlocked, Ninja Escape, PanIQ, RealEscapeGames, etc. and I would definitely rank Puzzle Break as one of the top ones I've played. The room was well decorated to fit the theme, integrating a lot of electronics and hidden doors to make the escape more interactive. There weren't any red herrings and puzzles followed a logical path, by which I mean if it didn't make sense, you probably didn't have all the pieces yet. Clues were given using a screen so we didn't have any trouble with walkie talkies/speaker sound, and only when we were really stuck, so it kept the difficulty up throughout the game. I also liked how at the end, we were given wristbands that had different symbols on them according to the game's theme because we escaped successfully. Gotta collect them all! read more

The room was so authentic and believable while the puzzles were challenging and required a lot of out of the box thinking. It was one the perfect gift for my third daughters 30th birthday. It was so much fun working together to solve the clues and put the puzzles together. It the room was amazing put together and the atmosphere was fantastic. And to find out that some of the set was authentic made the event even more special. The staff was friendly and inviting. Escape the Lost Temple! I dragged my skeptical husband with me and he loved it! We didn't know the other 6 people in our group, but it didn't seem to matter. We thought the attendant was just the right amount of helpful. Lively and appropriately vague when giving hints. She did a great job at bringing our group together. Each of us had a chance to 'win' as the many clues took different types of smarts to solve: math, logic, hide and seek, stories, mapping, pattern recognition, even memory. We came in a few weeks ago as a group of five in the Escape Seattle room and had a blast. The location was easy to find and we found a convenient parking garage about a block away. The puzzles were challenging but not impossible. We split up for the majority of the time and each tackled a puzzle best suited to our strengths as was suggested by our host which ended up working to our advantage as we escaped with just two minutes to spare! I've never done one of these, and honestly walked into this expecting it to be cheesy, worth the experience but probably not something I'd do again. Color me wrong, because yeah they still might be a tad cheesy, but they're fun as hell. We did the eventide departure mini room game that I guess is smaller than normal and with fewer people, all of whom you know. The intro story is kind of forgettable. But the actual mood, atmosphere and environments were pretty top notch. I have a wild imagination, but there were a couple moments where I legit got spooked. Fun activity, fun bonding time, and some puzzles had us stuck, asking the gods for help. I'll be doing this again. read more

This past week, our work group was able to have some fun at Puzzle break. The attention to detail and the ambiance created in each room was absolutely amazing. The team at Puzzle Break is fantastic. They are high energy, wonderful at explaining the process, and great at supporting your team in the room.
