We went to Puttshack to celebrate our adult son's birthday. We all had so much fun that we decided we would be back in the future. We were very surprised that the food and service were so good. Not what we would've expected at an indoor golf place.

Fun for corporate events or very casual putt putt enthusiasts. I visited recently for a corporate event, and the best part of the experience was honestly the food! We all loved the mini bites and appetizers served. Everything was delicious! I especially loved the coconut shrimp and mini sliders! There were a lot of great options for vegetarians, GF and dairy free eaters. The papa itself is a fun time but is pretty quick. It's a fun take on classic mini golf where you're actually trying to get more points and have a higher score versus a low score. The putt putt holes are super short and I can't imagine someone could possibly get over 3 or 4 on a hole unless they were really not trying. I think this worked well for a corporate event because we were enjoying making small talk and being casual about the experience, but I don't know that I would come here on a first date or with a group of friends because we would just move through the mini golf course so quickly. But if you are looking for just a little activity to do before enjoying the food and bar at this location then give it a try!

The food was really good. Typical pub food. The server was great. She was really nice. The drinks were good too. Not too strong not too weak. The food came out HOT. Only thing is it's one team per hole and you have to wait until the party in front of you finishes. It can hold you up if it crowded. Only thing I didn't like. It was my first time, I didn't know what to expect. But I'd go back. It's a little pricey. I was able to catch a deal so I think I paid about $60 for my family of 4.

This is a good hangout. A little putt putt while doing some gulp gulp, perhaps followed by some chomp chomp while yap yap with your posse or date, or both. Face it, we all need a loud atmosphere with food, fun, and music every now and then. A place to forget about your work week and let loose. If I let loose my pant button pops open...sorry. Don't sleep on their food, they really incorporated some nice plates from around the globe within their sharables. They have great salads and flatbreads too. If there is one pet peeve that my friends get tired of hearing about, it is the people stacking up behind you, waiting for you to finish your hole. This may be unavoidable with mini golf. Fortunately the type of crowd in Puttshack are more patient, happy..or maybe slightly boozed up, and thats cool. This is surely something you should try at least once.

Went here for a birthday party dinner with friends and the food was fantastic! We had the gyro, chicken and waffle and margarita flatbreads. We had Cobb salad and pad thai salad. All were shared and we loved it! Great flavor! Portion sizes were great too! Our server was fantastic! So great and we were taken care of well! Can't wait to go back and hit happy hour!

I've been meaning to check this spot out for the longest time since I've heard such good things! You make your time slot reservation online and check-in at the kiosk when you get there. You pick your putter and they give you your ball to play. There's a bar in the main area so you're welcome to purchase your beverage before starting your game. There's multiple courses and they're super fun and different than your usual mini golf course. There's a lot of tech involved so that the ball keeps track of your strokes and your score. It's affordable and such a fun activity to do with friends and family.

So this is really a pricey experience for what you get. I believe if they had better promotions we would visit a lot more. However my son does love it here. Many courses and we love how the electronic scoring works.

We had a gift card and a visitor from out of the country. This was the perfect reason to pay a visit. Our group had five and two of them were children. We walked in without advance reservations on a Saturday afternoon but we were able to secure a booking within the next 20 minutes for the 9-hole game. We had a fun experience although it can feel a bit rushed when there are others waiting behind you. I think we took approximately 30 minutes to finish the game which is not a whole lot of time. We recently had a second visit on a Sunday morning for a birthday party. This was a more ideal experience for us because there was less people and we played at our own pace. This is particularly beneficial for young children who needs a lot of guidance on how to play. The food was served buffet style. We tried the pepperoni and cheese pizza, fried chicken bites with Thai chili sauce, fried shrimp, chicken quesadilla, chips and artichoke dip, and tater tots. Everything was the standard fare and served in a timely manner. Party attendees received a voucher to return for a free game. Our daughters had a wonderful time so we will definitely return.

3.9.. Love the coat check option when you first walk in. The bar area is busy and great options. Most of the bar tenders were pleasant. Lots of seating areas around the golfing. I do feel that reservations for the golf should be a thing. (This is not a place or time to perfect your leisure skill) It was pretty crowded despite the constant moving in each golf area. People navigating selves, children, and drinking adults can make for a haphazard. There needs to be more structure in this area especially depending on how large your party is. The food my friends reported was good. The grill shrimp I actually tasted. Great grill flavor and presentation. The drinks were delicious and not too expensive. I feel like I would return for drinks and food.

$19.00 martini as served. About an inch short of the rim.

Wow. Food okay. Server okay. TINY $19.00 Martini and a flat skunky beer. Salt grinder broken and spilled salt all over the table and plates. Great time playing miniature golf though. One and done.

I just tried Puttshack in Oakbrook for the first time - and it was very fun! The downstairs area when you first walk in is a coat check, and then you take an elevator or the stairs to the actual place. This is an indoor mini golf space, with a bar and restaurant upstairs as well. You can put your groups name on a waitlist on their touch screen computers upstairs, or make a reservation in advance online. There are 9 holes per game that you get to play, the cool part about Puttshack is that the place keeps track of your score for you on screens at every hole through the balls they give you (no old school recording on pencil and paper), which is really convenient if you wanted to keep track of scores with your group. There are also 4 different places inside you can play 9 hole games at, the whole place is really cool to look at the theming of the games and the neon lights are really nice. All of the employees I encountered were pretty friendly and helpful if you had questions on how anything works. I'd definitely recommend a visit if you want to do some mini golf, it's even more fun if you have a group.

I had a great experience at Puttshack! Second time here and this time it was on a Sunday afternoon. It was pretty packed which I expected for a few days after Christmas. They have coat check when you walk in. On the second floor is where you do self check-in and then retrieve your balls and clubs. The overall set up is okay. It's a bit confusing especially if it's your first time here. The areas get pretty packed so I do think they should have less reservations arrive at the same time. Nonetheless, the games are fun and exciting and you can sip a drink while playing. I always opt to eat before or after playing, and I've enjoyed the meals I've ordered here. My mom has a few food allergies and the executive chef came to our table to tell her what meals she could safely eat. We were very impressed and grateful for the attention to customer service! Drinks are a little expensive for the place, in my opinion, but somewhere I will definitely come back to!

It was super fun here it's so cool that the balls track your progress and score so you don't have to, had a great time

Ask the Community - Puttshack - Oakbrook

Would this place be good for a nine and seven year old child?

Yes I have those ages and they love it. Expect about 30 min for mini golf and then make a reservation to eat. They love the food too. They also love immersive gamebox which is located in the same mall if you want to book before or after

Looking at photos, it appears there are lots of colorful lights; are any strobe/flashing? Asking as members of the potential party are photosensitive. Thanks.

Not that I can remember. There's definitely a lot of lights at each putt area, but not strobe.

Is this place family friendly for children around 2 years old?

If you go on "off days" and when they first open, taking your little one could be fun but the course is a little challenging for that age range I would say.

Are you able to do walk ins?

They are but depending on how busy, you might have to wait 30mins to two hours (according to the workers). Best reserve a time online

Your website says that it is $12 for one game. How many holes is considered "one game"? Is it really only 9 holes per game?

Yes. Only 9 holes. Takes about 30-45 min to complete with the crowds.

The course was that we were on was fun but if you're a good putter, I don't think it would be that challenging.

So make sure you're paying close attention to your GPS when you're heading there. The good news is it's located in a mall area, so there's plenty of parking, which makes it very convenient. The atmosphere is not overly upscale, but it definitely still gives fine dining energy. The low lighting creates a more intimate vibe, making it a great place for a date night, dinner with friends, or even a relaxed evening meal. The food is consistently good, and the drinks are always on point. This time I ordered the baby back ribs with mashed potatoes, and it was my first time trying that dish there. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone good, and the mashed potatoes were a perfect pairing. My friend ordered the pork chop, butterflied and cut open, and she said it was simply amazing. Now let me get to the real reason I keep coming back. The carrot cake. I have had carrot cake from big-name bakeries and small local mom-and-pop spots, and I'm telling you right now, J. Alexander's has the best carrot cake in the world. If anyone wants to debate that, please let me know where I should go try another slice... or better yet, buy me one so we can compare! Because of that carrot cake alone, J. Alexander's will always be in my Top 10. So yes, the food is good, the drinks are great, the atmosphere is nice...

We started with some lobster bisque and a lump crab cake appetizer. The bisque was sublime. The crab cake was mostly crab and paired with a delicious mustard sauce. My only complaint was that I wanted more. Having recently experienced a subpar upscale chain restaurant steak dinner at another restaurant, I was gun shy to order a steak, but was rewarded with one of the most tender and tasty cuts of beef in the Chicago suburbs. The literal topper was the red wine reduction...so good! My companion ordered (and shared!) the grilled scallops. A generous serving of tender, succulent scallops on a bed of delicious risotto. The combo made a great surf and turf experience. Desserts at these types of restaurants can be so overwhelming that even the thought of sharing seems like too much. But here, we had perfectly sized portions and a wonderful selection of treats to cap a great meal. We each ordered a different treat and it was the perfect amount. We sat in the bar and had a great server named Shawn. Shawn was engaging and provided great service. I'll definitely request him next time I visit. I wasn't drinking that night, but hubby solo'd it with a bourbon cocktail called a Paper Plane. He said it was very tasty, especially on the hot day. We shared the ahi tuna tartare to start. The tartare was a stack of tuna with tropical salsa and avocado. So fresh. It came with a basket of crispy lavish bread, I hope when the restaurant switches their recipe that they will continue making a seedless lavish for those who can't do nuts or seeds. Hubby had the wood grilled tenderloin salad for dinner. I had to get a taste of that tenderloin because it was cooked perfectly. It was so tasty and seasoned well. I had the wood grilled Idaho rainbow trout, swapping out the asparagus for carrots. The trout came with a dill mustard sauce which I nixed and just squeezed fresh lemon on the fish. The fish was moist and smoky. Of course, we had to get the little dessert shooters to end the meal. Hubby had the Belgian chocolate s'mores, which was ridiculously decadent. I had the more conservative raspberry cannoli dessert. These tiny sweet treats are delicious mini indulgences. I love them because you want something a little sweet at the end of a meal but don't want a huge dessert. I think they're perfect. I like Seasons 52 because every item on the menu has the calories listed. Their food is always very good and the service is top-notch. When I ordered the tuna appetizer, a manager came over right away and asked me about a seed allergy because they noticed I said no nuts and seeds on my reservation. They really pay attention to their customers needs. I highly recommend Seasons 52. Ask for Shawn!

As we ordered drinks, he asked only my daughter (33 years old) and my niece (39 years old) for identification. My niece explained that she had her ID available digitally on her phone. Casper said he needed a physical ID but would check with a manager to see if the digital version could be accepted. After speaking with management, he returned and informed us that a digital ID would not be accepted. He explained that the restaurant's policy required physical IDs from anyone who appeared to be 30 years old or younger. When we expressed our frustration and said we would not be dining there because of this policy, he showed no concern and offered no apology. We were curious about a random age requirement if the server thought you "looked" 30 or younger although the legal drinking age in Illinois is 21. Before leaving, we asked to speak with a manager. Ryan, the manager, met us at the door, and we explained that we were disappointed that our niece could not order a drink despite having a valid digital ID. Rather than addressing our concern, he compared the situation to him being carded at liquor stores. We pointed out that this was a restaurant, not a liquor store, and that the policy appeared to be applied selectively based exclusively on the server's judgment. Ryan offered no apology and referred us to the General Manager. When Christa, the General Manager, joined us, we asked why the restaurant used a 30-year-old threshold when the legal drinking age in Illinois is 21. She initially stated that the policy was to request IDs from all guests ordering alcohol. I explained that only my daughter and niece had been asked for IDs. She then revised her explanation, saying that servers request IDs from anyone who appears younger than 30, making the policy exclusively dependent on the server's judgment. We also pointed out that we observed a nearby table of younger-looking guests had been served alcoholic beverages, but their server did not ask for their IDs. Christa questioned our observation. What was most disappointing was that neither Ryan nor Christa apologized for the inconvenience or acknowledged our concerns. As first-time guests, we left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Unfortunately, this experience has ensured that we will not be dining at Perry's in Oakbrook again and has left a bad impression of Perry's management team, in general. If I could rate them a "no stars," I would.

True Colors: A Hazy IPA hopped with a double dry hop of all New Zealand hops including Nectaron, Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Wai-iti. Muon Juice: A Hazy Double IPA in collaboration with Equilibrium hopped with Citra, Eclipse, Motueka, and Krush. Cross Pollination: A Hazy Double IPA in collaboration with Standard Meader hopped with Citra and a kiss of Orange Blossom Honey. Double Nectar Guava // Mango // Pineapple: A Smoothie Style Sour with Pineapple, Mango, and Guava. We then enjoyed a couple appetizers and split a main dish. For apps we went with the Garlicky Cheese Curds that were pleasantly spiced served with a delectable Black Pepper Buttermilk Ranch, and the P3 Crispy Buffalo Wings. The main we split was the Bahn Mi that was stuffed with pickled veggies and Pork. __________

Today was a good experience. I just worked out and called to ask about the dress code. No dress code, I'll be right there! I walked in and was greeted immediately and sat at the bar. The bartender was attentive and gave me time to decide without feeling rushed even as I changed my mind a couple times. I ordered the salmon and Mad Rose to drink. The drink has a lot going on and wasn't for me. It reminded me of a cinnamon orange tea, citrus and spicy. For dinner, I waffled on a couple fish dishes, but went with the salmon. It has a nice, crunchy glaze on it with some nice citrus flavors that weren't overbearing. I wasn't sure how the risotto would taste with the orange, but it worked. I was asked several times how I was doing and how my drinks and food were. Dining solo, I get ignored at times with subpar service. Not tonight access I appreciate that. I would recommend based on service and the dish I had. I will return to try more.

I ordered from Entourage Downers Grove and was honestly impressed with how well everything held up for delivery. The standout for me was the lobster bisque. It arrived at the perfect temperature, which is pretty impressive for delivery. The bisque was rich and luscious without feeling overly heavy, and the basil oil added a nice brightness that balanced the creaminess beautifully. It also had a generous amount of lobster, including several large chunks, and was a very solid portion overall. The filet mignon sliders were another highlight. Each slider had a substantial piece of filet mignon topped with pickled onions, microgreens, and horseradish cream on brioche buns. The onions and horseradish added enough acidity and bite to balance the richness of the beef without overpowering it. I also tried the Vietnamese summer rolls, filled with roasted shiitake mushrooms, fresh vegetables, and rice noodles, served with both peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce. Everything tasted very fresh, and the sauces complemented the generously stuffed rolls nicely. My only small critique is that cutting them in half made for a prettier presentation, but made them a little awkward to dip and eat. Overall, this was a surprisingly strong delivery experience, and I would absolutely order from them again, or better yet, make it over to the restaurant itself next time I'm in the area.
