If I could give this establishment negative stars I would. Last night 12/18/21 we visited PuttShake for my birthday. The courses were booked to capacity which wasn't the issue at all. My friends and I stayed for food and drinks. We found seating on the patio which was really nice. After sitting for 45 mins. a younger, African American waitress with red hair (I described her because she never provided her name) appeared and was assisting another table but she never greeted us and was proceeding to walk out of the area when we asked for menus and if she would be servicing our table. She dropped the menus on the table and left the area. This young woman appeared in the area several more times to continue assisting the table that she had previously been assisting when we arrived. However, she avoided making eye contact with any of us and never came back to the table to take our orders or to ask if we were ready to order. We waited, without food or drinks, at our table before finally flagging her down as she was walking by yet again. She didn't even have the decency to approach the table she yelled from the opening of the door that she was no longer servicing our table and she would find another waiter or waitress for us. That person never appeared and she never returned to the area we were seated in. Unfortunately, this was my very 1st time visiting this establishment and I am highly disappointed in their customer service. Especially considering I was there to celebrate my birthday. There was a young woman by the name of Porsche that was working behind the bar who was kind enough to take our drink orders. I had a coke zero and would have ordered food and beverages but they could not take food orders at the bar unless we were sitting at the bar and by the time we'd gotten to this point in the evening I just wanted to leave. read more

My husband found Puttshack via tick toc. This place is amazing. It is a great place for date night or a family outing. The one drawback is the space within each section. Very close proximity to other groups. The putt putt is totally electronic and maintains your score for you. It has 9 holes that go by quickly. First impression: the theme and idea of this place is awesome. It's an adult version of mini golf with food and alcohol! Parking options include valeting at the Bellyard or parking in the garage. When you enter, you will be amazed at how many people were inside. It was entirely tooo crowded to be reservation only. You literally have to wait in line at each hole in order to pay. By the time we finished, my back was hurting. We decided to get a table to eat. Our waitress did NOT want to be there. She started off nice and then turned into a sour patch. It took almost 40mins to get our food and drinks. We ended up getting our food before our drinks. That's so backwards. The food was ok. I ordered the chicken sandwich and needed to add ranch for flavor. Our waitress was not attentive. I had to get up twice to ask a different waitress for help. I'm debating if this place is worth trying again. Again, nice concept. They just need better staff and some standards. Do not fit hundreds of people on a small mini golf course. Walking in is confusing af. We went to the kiosk and then had no idea what to do. Finally figured out to walk upstairs and was vaguely described how it all works. We weren't sure the deal so we purchased one round thinking it was the whole place one time. No. It means you're thrown in a small corner of 5-6 holes to play and are done in a matter of 15 mins. The registration process here is an absolute nightmare. We made a reservation for 6, then contacted them and had in writing that they were updating our reservation to 10. Once we got here none of the kiosks would let anyone register. We paid for 10 people and the hostess got angry with us and try to convince us we only paid for 6 despite us having a receipt for 10. We showed her the receipt then she started ignoring us. Will definitely be contacting customer service for a refund. read more

I was a first timer and the putting was fun. The employee who gave out the putters and balls was was helpful and engaging! The reason for my 2 star review is related to the hosting staff. My mom and I were trying to eat after putting and all we received was attitude. The communication towards customers was horrible. After looking at the menu, my mom and I decided we didn't want to eat there so we were leaving and as I am handing back the menu, one of the ladies glared at me and said nothing as I left. This place is just absolutely horrible! If you don't have a reservation don't even bother coming. The website says they take walk ins, but they really don't. The security guard was rude to everyone asking what was going on. None of the staff was on the same page. At 930 they told everyone in line that they will not be serving any more food even though they don't close until 12, but that we can still play the holes! Then another staff member came out and said there were no more holes available to play for the night, but that we could still eat. Mind you they still were not letting anyone in line know this! Joshua who was unfortunately a manager was completely rude and unnecessarily sassy to our party and his employees. How he became management is beyond me. He lacks any professionalism or customer service. He would rather argue and twirl his neck than to even be helpful. Dwayne on the other hand was awesome and tried his best to accommodate us. While he was helping us Mr Joshua didn't like that at all and started fussing at him in front of us. The man was just trying to help unlike him! Terrible experience. Went here for a birthday dinner. Had a set aside spot on the second floor with premium package for food and drinks, plus two games. Food and drinks were so-so. Food way too salty and dribks were drown with mixers - wouldn't let you order shots either. Paid for two games. This place sucks. They are very crowded and ran out of balls despite us having a reservation and paying a $140 deposit. They closed the bar at 12:30am on a Saturday night despite not closing for an hour afterwards. Many of our friends got parking tickets in the parking deck despite paying on the application. Not kid friendly even if you reserved it and are in the establishment before 6pm. I will not be recommending or visiting the Atlanta location ever again. From the long wait to receive my food (over an hour after I ordered it), to my oldest daughter waiting 40 mins to get her drink after she had ordered it, to the bad security staff that is very rude, I'm completely over this place. My previous visit was amazing but after the way I was treated on my son's 20th birthday (August 7th) I can safely say this is the last time I will come here whereas before I had recommended it to everyone. What made me the most upset was the fact that I had left my son and his friends upstairs playing the Ruby course and I was running to my car with my 10 year old but had to turn back around because I had forgot something with my son and the security wouldn't let me back in because they said I had my minor daughter with me. I had literally just walked out the door it was only about 30 secs or less. So I called the manager Josh over who I had spoken with earlier that day along with Liz and Tiffany and he said because it was after 9pm she couldn't come back in. I told him I had just walked out of the doors, he had saw me earlier with my older daughter and my family was still in there. He still did not let me come in with my daughter who I had just walked out of the very same door with. I'm highly upset and embarrassed after I have spent over $200.00 in this place. $168.00 on food and bad service and $87.00 on games and then another $12.00 for an additional player. The way I was treated was horrible and embarrassing. So when I asked Josh for a refund because of the overall service and how I was treated he said I had to write corporate and said that I would have to go through corporate to get my money back. Spent Saturday afternoon, 8/20/22 at the Puttshack and it was a nice outing. The food is actually very tasty and the drinks are good. The golf game was a blast. Be careful however of hole on the course that gives you the chance to win the "prizes" on the spinning wheel. My husband won the $5 off food and drink coupon. Not only was this misleading, because you have to spend $20 in food (not drinks) before you use it. It also cut the number of days in which we could use it. Today is August 20th and as you can see from the attached picture, the date stamped on the card is July 30th. The small print says "valid 60 days from this date". So, instead of having the full 60 days to use it, we only have about 40 days. The manager on duty at 3:30pm kindly pointed this out to me. She was not willing to give us a new card with today's date on it. Not very professional and in bad taste for sure considering that this is a fairly new business. They certainly would not go bankrupt for another $5 promo card. A missed opportunity for customer confidence. Anyway, other than this incident, it was a nice afternoon. read more

The sign in process was very annoying, forcing me to provide both email and phone number - neither of which was actually required to play the game. You could have just charged me the money and given me a receipt so they let us into the course. It is not necessary to take all my information. The signage in the venue was horrible. How was i supposed to know which course i was assigned to? They took my email and phone number but didnt let me know which course to report to so we spend a lot of time waiting in the wrong line. Then our course was upstairs but there was no signage showing us where to go. The beer selection was weak - mostly a coors/michelob vibe. We felt very rushed going through the game itself. Too many people let into the course at a time, so even though we tried to move very fast, the team behind us was always waiting for us for a while to finish. There was nowhere to stand and wait, so it felt very crowded and rushed. I think we were done in 20 min for $12, so quite steep. Overall this was not worth it and we likely would not go back. The technology felt like massive overkill and very little benefit. Poor overall value experience. read more

It was our first time at Puttshack and we came for my brothers birthday. The first interaction is the rude older man security guard (you know who you are). The ambiance Then we checked in on the large screen and played the Ruby course. We had so much fun and would definitely come back just to play. Came down to the bar to get some post game drinks. The bartender seemed so "busy" but had 2 bar backs with guests that had obviously been sitting for quite a while. Also, half of the bar was closed off. They kept walking past us without even acknowledging us. The issue was when it was time to eat, we sat down for 15 minutes before anyone even came to our table. When our waitress (who wasn't that bad) finally came we placed our orders. The food and drinks took forever to come and then when they finally did bring the food, I was the only person whose food didn't come and I ordered the same exact thing as 2 other people (flatbread and fries). I would say this is the biggest waste of money I've ever spent. I came here for a friend group reunion and had a tee time of 8:20...as did about 6 other groups (so what's the point of a tee time?) they book WAY too many groups for the process to run smoothly. We went early to eat (got seated at 6:50) and almost missed our tee time to begin with due to the very slow service on a Wednesday night. After almost missing the tee time when we finally got to the course there were 5-6 groups ahead us making the "30 minute" game closer to an hour and half for 9 holes!!! It took so long that we missed our second game and we're told "we'd have to go online with a complaint and that only game credit would be given" I wouldn't come again if it was free. Whoever is in charge of logistics should consider a job change. $130 wasted. The putt putt holes are comically simple ( a group me ever got 4 holes in one... on 9 holes??) they are TINY. This bar has so much potential and has a great concept. As an out of town guest and this being our first visit, our service was appalling! I also work in hospitality and I know how difficult it can be during these times, but how you handle your GUESTS at your establishment means everything!! We was celebrating a relatives 40th birthday with a larger party that we understood was difficult to accommodate at that time ; as we did not make reservations and was hoping to get an idea once we got there. To not go on a tangent I will not go into complete details but will give you and idea of the lack of customer service we received. Starting from the service we got from the hosts, the male bartender with glasses, and a few servers. They were rude, gave us misleading information and completely unorganized. Prior to my husbands arrival, I was told they where no longer accepting miniature golf and no one can get drinks the bar. They did explain they was understaffed. In the meantime while we waited for our joiners they sat us in the middle area of the restaurant. We waited at least 10 minutes before the server even ackoweleged our presence and was then told by him that he would only take orders from people that was sitting down, anyone else had to go to the bar. I told him we was told we couldn't get any drinks from the bar... he goes to the hosts stand and one of the women came to our table and told us that she knows it sounds rude but She needs us to MOVE, did not exactly tell us where to wait or move too, but that we needed to get out of the servers area because he was overwhelmed. The ladies and I decided to wait outside until everyone else got there. Perfect example of WHITE PRIVLEDGE, my husband and his group of white friends shows up. Goes to the same hosts and he gets told he can go to the bar and wait with his friends. They were told a completely different story on wait time and how they was going to accommodate our guests. They obviously didn't realize we where all in the same party.. He then was able to get a drink a the bar right away. He convinces us to stay and we was able to go to bar right away. After trying to get the male bartender with glasses attention, he tried to break the ice of silence and ask him how his day was going. He replied with a sarcastic comment and continued with " ask me in 12 hours when I give a shit." Luckily my husband laughed it off trying to continue to give the venue a chance. A male server who was working the patio area witnessed the disrespect from the bartender and quickly tried to take care of us and put our drinks in. When the bartender finally returned back to take our order he was clearly annoyed that the server took our order instead. We then gave that server a $20 tip just to say thank you for noticing. A manager did not come to the table until she was asked to. The only reason we stayed and made the best of it is because we were with good company and enjoying our friends and family. Since most of us was from out of town finding a new location was more difficult for us. Thankfully the food end up being pretty good and we had a good time but NO thanks to the actual venue.
