Friendly staff, clean and safe. Started out fine with a 5x10 unit/$50/month. A few months later…read morethey DOUBLED my price citing Tarrifs which makes no sense, as they've been doubling other unit prices for years. I was able to have them lower it a bit BUT had to pay for 6 months in order to hold that price! The attendant there (I think Sarah?) is wonderful. I realize this is a company issue, local staff have little control. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND SECURE A FIRM CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING. We are very happy with the location and spent so much time organizing our unit which holds sentimental items hoping to pass on to our children. I would hate to have to go through the ordeal of moving everything out, but if they try to increase our price again in a few months, we may have to I truly wish we did more research before choosing this company OR secured a better contract. I hope they consider making some honest changes and stop this deceitful pricing increase. An honest business will always be the most profitable in the long run.

I would not recommend Prime Storage in Danbury. While the facility itself is clean, the constant…read morerate increases are unacceptable. My monthly rent seems to go up every three months, making it nearly impossible to budget for long-term storage. It feels like they lure customers in with one price, only to keep raising it once you've moved in. To make matters worse, they refused to accept my current insurance policy, even though it provided adequate coverage, and instead pushed me to purchase their insurance. It felt more like a sales tactic than a customer-focused policy. If you're looking for a storage facility with transparent pricing and reasonable policies, I would look elsewhere. Frequent rent increases and pressure to buy additional services make this a frustrating place to do business.

As you can imagine, moving across the country with 3 little kids is already stressful as it is, but they made the moving part much easier on us. I worked with Geraldine for the initial virtual walkthrough to get an estimate of the costs. She was amazing. They have a local moving company in San Diego that they work with. On moving day, the movers came and picked up our stuff and put them into 4 wooded crate containers. We opted for the crate containers because we needed to put our stuff in storage while we shopped for a house in CT. They drove our stuff out to Newtown, CT where they put our items in storage. From the on, I worked with Kyla on billing and let her know when we were ready to have our items delivered to the new house (about 2-3 months later). We paid for a portion of the bill upon pickup of our items and then the remainder upon delivery. We also paid a monthly fee for few months of storage. The overall communication with the company has excellent. The movers on both sides were great. Roberto, our lead delivery person (2 guys) that delivered our items were great as well. Their excuse...people were complaining because their workers kept spilling trash on customers property. How did they fix it? By requiring customers to separate and bag all recyclables.
