I was able to have them lower it a bit BUT had to pay for 6 months in order to hold that price! The attendant there (I think Sarah?) is wonderful. I realize this is a company issue, local staff have little control. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND SECURE A FIRM CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING. We are very happy with the location and spent so much time organizing our unit which holds sentimental items hoping to pass on to our children. I would hate to have to go through the ordeal of moving everything out, but if they try to increase our price again in a few months, we may have to I truly wish we did more research before choosing this company OR secured a better contract. My monthly rent seems to go up every three months, making it nearly impossible to budget for long-term storage. It feels like they lure customers in with one price, only to keep raising it once you've moved in. To make matters worse, they refused to accept my current insurance policy, even though it provided adequate coverage, and instead pushed me to purchase their insurance. It felt more like a sales tactic than a customer-focused policy. If you're looking for a storage facility with transparent pricing and reasonable policies, I would look elsewhere. Frequent rent increases and pressure to buy additional services make this a frustrating place to do business.

Moving is such a ridiculously stressful pain in the...ah...neck, but after my first phone call with Tom Gleason, I knew I chose the right company. I was all over the place with the dates I needed for drop off, for moving... but Tom worked with me and even threw in some humor that helped me maintain sanity throughout the process. He didn't run from my craziness, he accommodated my craziness. I'd like to think he may have actually even liked my craziness. Maybe that's too presumptuous of me. Anyway, we need more Toms around. The 20' unit we rented was perfect. The driveway drop off locations were perfect. I spoke with 2 of the drivers on the phone and met one for the final pickup just now (at 7:15am. Nice!
