I realize this is a company issue, local staff have little control. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND SECURE A FIRM CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING ANYTHING. We are very happy with the location and spent so much time organizing our unit which holds sentimental items hoping to pass on to our children. I would hate to have to go through the ordeal of moving everything out, but if they try to increase our price again in a few months, we may have to I truly wish we did more research before choosing this company OR secured a better contract. I hope they consider making some honest changes and stop this deceitful pricing increase. An honest business will always be the most profitable in the long run.

Moving is such a ridiculously stressful pain in the...ah...neck, but after my first phone call with Tom Gleason, I knew I chose the right company. I was all over the place with the dates I needed for drop off, for moving... but Tom worked with me and even threw in some humor that helped me maintain sanity throughout the process. He didn't run from my craziness, he accommodated my craziness. I'd like to think he may have actually even liked my craziness. Maybe that's too presumptuous of me. Anyway, we need more Toms around. The 20' unit we rented was perfect. The driveway drop off locations were perfect. I spoke with 2 of the drivers on the phone and met one for the final pickup just now (at 7:15am. Nice! When Tom says he'll have it picked up first thing ... he ain't kiddin!). Everyone I spoke with or met is super nice & friendly. Makes a difference when you're having to deal with all the stresses of moving. Oh. The pod itself! Probably shouldn't leave that out of the review. The pod was great too. Tons of rain (I'm talkin torrential downpours) while we had it and not a drop inside the thing. Use this company. Excellent customer service, great product & reasonable prices. A trifecta. But to top it off, I had 3 bins robbed when they had a massive break in and over 50 units were broken into. Their response, immediately increase my rates while offering no new services or protections. And now, every time I've been there since the robbery the front gate that is supposed to be locked and only accessible with a passcode is just left open all the time. I called to complain that maybe, after a massive robbery, they should at least close the front door. They did not. Horrible business. Go elsewhere.

Which I discovered one following the exit signs. He essentially chatted with me pleasantly and then created a situation in which I needed to execute a k turn and exit through a very narrow entrance. Long story short this con man filed a claim against me for property damage. The facility is clean and new but frankly there are better facilities, competitively priced, where there is maneuvering room for trucks. And where the owners aren't two faced cowards.

I did not choose them because a neighbor of mine has a moving company and I got reviews from 5 different people who I know, who thought he was outstanding. Braun was my 2nd choice--although they came in higher. Read your bid carefully because they said if a 2nd truck was needed the bill would go up almost $2K. It's their business--they should know from the home visit the truck sizes needed.
