Our first experience was with having an oriental rug cleaned, which I was very nervous about due to the delicate nature of those types of rugs (and it was quite expensive). Vic was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable upon my initial questions. We had the rug taken to their location to be "deep cleaned", and I must say it was like a brand new rug when he brought it back! They did an amazing job! I didn't realize how shabby it must have been, until we saw it cleaned. The rug came back with no quality issues at all. After our first experience, we have always come to All Purpose for any cleaning services because of the great service and fair pricing. Vic is great with communication and always extremely reliable. Fair pricing and great quality aside, Vic seems like such a nice guy and a good business man, which as a small business owner myself- I appreciate. It's sewn crooked and very poorly. The thread work is sloppy and they sewed a crease into the dress! I was charged $90 for this terrible work, and I when I refused to pay so much for shoddy tailoring they took $20 off. I didn't want to argue further so I paid $70 and left with my ruined dress. They offered to fix it, and said it was an oversight, but I'm so disgusted they would think this dress was ready for a customer that I do not trust them to work on it again. I will never return here. I loved how Nick was flexible with the move time and had no problems with moving it up earlier. The movers (Andrew and Jeff, I believe) were very fast and efficient, and I just had to sit back and relax as they did their thing. They were organized and wrapped all the furniture that needed to be wrapped. I did a move from New Haven to Stamford for a studio and everything was done in less than 4 hours! From the first call to the payment, everything was smoother than I ever imagined and I thank them for everything and their work! To note: clarify your payment method before so you are both clear when you pay!
