The owner Chris asked for a pic and specs of the unit, then promptly sent me a reasonable estimate; we set up a time via text. JDR confirmed our appointment the day before which I appreciated. Chris and his associate Mike showed up a bit early (great!) and did a wonderful job on what turned out to be a complicated task. It took a lot of maneuvering to get the old unit disassembled and removed, but the guys worked diligently and got it done. Since I hadn't been able to clean behind the old unit for over 20 years you can well imagine the huge dust bunnies left behind! Mike was nice enough to sweep that up without my asking, excellent service all around. So if you need stuff removed, skip the costly national franchises and call the nice local guys at Junk Done Right. I'm glad I did.

They arrived in their trademark lime green hauler. The original estimate was $125-$175 for my washer and dryer. I decided to go ahead with the washer, which though it was working was over 30 years old and wasn't energy efficient. My condo is on the second floor. When they arrived inside they immediately agreed to move the washer unit by itself for $125 -- for the smallest space available on their truck. The closing transaction was conducted electronically, and I had all hoses and power cords secured to the unit, so the entire removal process took less than 8 minutes. 4/5
