FRAUD ALERT: Natran Green Pest Control is Scamming Austin Residents…read more I am warning every Austin homeowner and renter: Natran Green Pest Control is a scam operation. They did NOT provide the services I paid for, yet they charged me month after month as if they had. When I questioned them, they intentionally lied about what was done -- completely fabricating service visits and misleading me at every step. This is not just incompetence -- this is deliberate fraud. They are running a citywide scam, taking money from customers while failing to deliver on their contracts. Do NOT trust this company. Cancel your contracts, dispute their charges, and warn your neighbors. I am pursuing every legal and public avenue to expose this business and hold them accountable for this blatant theft. Austin deserves better than companies that prey on our community with lies, fake service reports, and predatory billing practices.

Okay, reducing to 1 star based on the ridiculous response by the owner…read more (1) He said I'm bringing up the rat problem 2 years after his sealing work, and well past the 1-year warranty mark. In fact, I notified him of the rats returning SIX MONTHS after his sealing work (and he didn't reply). I attached a screenshot of my text message to this review to prove it. Did the rats overcome his exclusion methods, or did they survive for six months in the attic w/o food or water and then migrate to where I could hear them? The former seems more likely, but we'll never know, because, as I said, he didn't deign to reply when I asked him about it. Which also means, the warranty is useless if he doesn't actually honor it. (2) He said he "got rid of rats". He did not. He did only the sealing, I caught the rats myself, as per our agreement. (Then six months later, well within the guarantee period, I heard more rat activity.) (3) He said that I "let my warranty expire", putting the blame on me. Not true. First, I contacted him *within* the warranty period, and he didn't reply. Second, he never billed me for the warranty renewal when the time came up. Third, I contacted him again, after the initial warranty period, asking how to continue the warranty (e.g., pay a re-inspection fee plus the warranty extension?), but yet again, he didn't reply. So, it was impossible for me to renew my warranty, because he flat-up ghosted me. (4) I didn't "give a bad review because we won't coach him on doing an enclosure for his rental property", it was because, in part, he didn't REPLY to my repeated inquiries about that (as well as his not responding to my message about rats returning within the supposed warranty period). Multiple other contractors have been happy to take my money to provide some education and training about their trades, and if Matt didn't want to do that, that's certainly his call, and he could have said simply so. But he didn't, instead he just blew me off. (5) It's rare that you see a business owner insult his customers (e.g., "This guy has no life." WTF?!) It's funny because had he made a normal, customer-focused response, he might not have lost any business, but now he definitely will. Who wants to hire someone who's so contemptuous of anyone who dares to relay their bad experience with the contractor? (6) He says "As a customer he gets a no-star rating." So exactly what was my transgression here? Trying to report that rats returned within the first-year warranty period? Asking if I could hire him for additional work? Trying to contact him multiple times and getting no response, *before* posting online that I tried to contact him multiple times and got no response? Yeah, I'm a real jerk that way. If Matt doesn't want bad reviews, he might consider replying to his customers when they make inquiries to him, and then not blaming the customer when they point out that he wouldn't respond to their messages.

I really didn't want to have to write this review because David is SUCH a nice guy; but now I too…read moreagree with previous reviewers about his lack of response and follow through. Some red flags: There's no contract with Dave. He undercuts his competition with very fairly priced bids, but I remember when I agreed to write him a check for a year of service, he said you just have to trust him and yourself to be a good judge of character (which I do!). He was really on the ball at first. But things started to slip a month or so in with missed or late meetings; slow response to texts or phone calls and excuses. Lots and lots of those. Which I get, I have two toddlers! #life We've made it about 9 months into our "contract" year and I've completely lost touch with him. He was able to trap the rats we had in our attic, and seemingly reinforce barriers outside - but it's going to be a continual grind at our house (as in most in Austin) to continue to defend/protect. I have several friends I had recommended him to since this is such a common issue in our neighborhood/area but without the consistency and follow-through, I no longer think I can recommend his business.

I've had some good experiences with Dave/Monarch and some bad. I messaged him in December 2015…read moreabout getting my attic treated for squirrels and he missed the appointment because of an issue with transportation. This first missed appointment I understood, and the next time I asked when he was going to come seal my chimney etc, he said it had been done already. Not terribly clear with communication, but the price was pretty good and he did as he said. At this point I'd have given a 4 star review. Starting in June I messaged him about hearing things on/in my roof, which would be covered by the year warranty he gave me, as well as asking him to look at whether there were hornets making a nest in my attic. It is now September. I sent several emails that weren't answered, and there was one day I stayed home from work to show him the area I was concerned with, because he said he'd be there, and he never came by. I tried once more to schedule a time and that didn't work. At this point I've given up, and want others to know the issues I've experienced. Dave is very kind, seems to know what he's doing, and his prices are good. However he isn't good at communication or meeting expectations he's set. Update - after I wrote this review he wrote me asking if he could come out and resolve the issue, which is good follow up on a review. I chose not to do so since I still don't have faith in him meeting the expectations he's set, however I respect that he wanted to make things right.
