The staff at the Capital of Texas location were great. They were very informative and pricing seems to be reasonable. I really like dealing with informed staff when it comes to being in a pet store and that is a huge disadvantage for larger big boxed generic pet stores. This is a great pet store! Looks like they've had a name change in the last year or so. We happened to be there when the owner was. She owns more stores in Round Rock, etc. The entire staff was friendly, the store has a TON of dog and cat products, and they have some great deals. I could've been in there for a lot longer. I didn't see any wash tubs but I may have missed it. They also have deals on food and toys. Shop local! This is the place to go!!! read more

Hollywood Feed is like a combination of pet and feed store, but elevated. I wandered into this store while on the north side of Austin and was wowed. All the products are of the highest quality and everywhere you look they have options on top of options of newest and tastiest items for your pets. In this case they had so many choices for bully sticks from different proteins of fish, beef, pork, lamb etc. They had items I haven't seen anywhere from the standard Petsmart, Petco, or Paws here in Houston. On top of that there is a large assortment of high quality kibble, frozen chew items and of course are larger choices of leashes, harness, and so forth. I'd say this store was like the Willy Wonka of pet items. After my visit I was told they are located in Houston and to my surprise in Sugarland, Katy and Woodlands. A bit of a drive from my casa but definitely a drive I plan on making immediately. Hollywood Feed here I come! read more

It's like a mom and pop shop, every staff here is friendly and gives treats to your pup. They are educated in pet care and give great knowledge based on what you may be looking for. I came here when I adopted my dog and they have a special where you get two free bags of dog food when you show your adoption paperwork. If you want great customer service and a place to find good quality pet food this is the place to go! read more

This store is fantastic and really the only place I go for my pets anymore. They carry such a wide variety of Fromm products - one of the only places around that has Fromm canned dog food WITH grains. Their non-food stuff tends to be expensive but they always have great sales. I have benefitted from their reward program many times, too! This is a great pet store that sells healthy dog food brands like Fromm. I'm not sure if they carry Zignature as well. It's very similar to Healthy Pet, Krisner's, and Tomlinson's except with a large selection of crates, beds, toys, leashes, harnesses, collars, and bowls. Customer service is terrific as all employees go through forty hours of training. I ended up buying two bowls with a hidden grip underneath. read more

I started shopping here when we were having trouble finding a food that agreed with our dog and throughout the years, the people of Bark n Purr/Hollywood Feed have been the most helpful we've ever encountered. They really go above and beyond to help you with whatever you are looking for and they truly seem to be passionate about animals. I have to say that after Covid hit, my respect for this store rocketed. We have compromised family members and we try to be incredibly cautious because of it. We started using the delivery feature of their website and we could not be more pleased. Same day, super speedy, I have had half a dozen deliveries by now and I've never even had someone call me for help getting into my (complicated) apartment building. They are just so exceptional! The icing on top of the (dog birthday) cake, I ordered a few birthday items for my dog and they attached a handwritten note wishing her a happy birthday! They really go above and beyond.
