Moxy after a visit to April the greatest dog lover and groomer I've ever met.
    Dana W.

Our pets are our greatest joys and little heartbreakers too. Moxy was 15 years old in October and passed away yesterday. She was a loving light in a house of all girls. As she aged she was maybe not as beautiful as she was in her younger years but April made her feel like a puppy every time she had a spa day with her! April is genuinely the kindest person I've ever met. I say that sincerely and with great awe for the human she chooses to be. She cares so deeply for animals; especially senior dogs. She gives them love, attention, levity and dignity. She used to take selfies with Moxy which just warmed my heart and touched my soul. Moxy passed on a Sunday, at home, so my regular vet was not open. I called Banfield and even tho Moxy was not a patient on record they treated us with warmth and kindness like she'd always been theirs. April was in the grooming room and I told a colleague about Mox in case April wanted to say goodbye. April rushed to us with such sincere compassion and concern. April was Moxy's friend and I felt truly blessed Mox got to say goodbye to such a beautiful human. April's hug gave me the strength i needed to say goodbye to my sweet girl. I say all of this to remind us who's there for us when our pets are thriving but also who is there when we face our beloved animal's end. I cannot recommend April as a gift to your pet with more heart because she absolutely stole mine! Please remember to tip your dog's groomer the way you do your own stylist, they are so humble they never expect it but they deserve a reward too! They impact the lives of our fur babies more than we might think. Thank you April, thank you Jasmine and Bandfield for helping us shelter Moxy over that rainbow bridge. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Much loveDana &Mox

Curbisde pickup spots. They're 4 spots available at this location

Placed an order online for pick-up/curbside. Website is going through an update, so confirmation email did not come immediately. Eventually I got the email and received note my order was ready for pick-up. Communication and directions to store was easy and convenient. Tried logging in via their app, did not have button to state I was here in front of store so I called them instead. The staff member answered the phone in a timely manner and came out with my order fairly quickly. I love Petsmart and love them even more as they have Disney100 dog and cat toys. I'm pleased with my purchase and my time at this store. Will definitely come again and use curbside service.

PetSmart always does an amazing job with my little Chihuahua, nari. Nari is a rescue from Austin pets alive, and she is very timid, shy and afraid of the grooming process. But, the folks at Petsmart are so gentle and understanding with her. Plus they do an amazing job in her grooming process. I have noticed that at other places that I have sent her , she comes back, very anxious and scared, but she seems to enjoy her time with the grooming team at Petsmart that's why I come back. Their team always offers what's most needed and don't try to upsell me in any things that she may not need. One thing in particular was her nails which I had told them that she is very particular about and they still did an amazing job to cut them as short as possible. when I picked my girl up their team went through and discussed how the grooming process went when they should schedule the next appointment and just how proud they are of Nari's improvement.

Very easy to pick up online orders curbside or in store. Curbside is in front of the store with reserved spaces marked with instructions to check in. In store you immediately encounter the pick up notification stand where you press a button to let them know you are there. When I arrived and did this, I was greeted quickly. My name was taken and my order was retrieved. It was securely packaged with my receipt stapled outside. I was able to leave quickly. And I did not have to walk very far into the store.

I know I was here one year ago but now my Shorkie is almost two and weights all of eight pounds eight ounces. We still love Pets Mart but she has found herself a great, fantastic groomer Nathaniel ( Nat) and she has been looking oh so good. She had her spa day yesterday and teeth are clean, nails trimmed, hair perfect, loved her oatmeal bath and came home with two red bows that are still in as of right now. Love all the people there, they all talk to you, they all are friendly from walking into the store to the guys stocking the shelves. Great place to shop and get your furry kid looking perfect. Thanks for listening .....

Dog harness and balls for fetch.
    Lisa Q.

Jack the Dog, aka Houdini, despite his 70 lbs could break free from any harness with enough frantic twists and turns. We found someone, Darnell, to help us on the harness aisle. My request was, "I need a foolproof straight jacket for Houdini here!" Darnell talked with me about harnesses in general and then explained in what way the one I ended up buying was different. And then he helped me with fitting it properly on Jack aka Houdini. Then a big dog walked past. Jack, aka Houdini, did his best to twist out of the harness with no luck. No more Houdini!! Darnell stopped by at the register when we were checking out and said goodbye to Jack!!

Wyatt's first grooming. No more smelly puppy.

Great job PetsMart grooming department! You did a great job making Wyatt comfortable with his first bath. When I picked him up he wasn't stressed out and he looked great. And the price was just right. We'll definitely be back.

This was the worst experience my dog ever had . He's been going to PetSmart grooming for last 2 years or so and this time at this location, April called me ten times regarding he is not behaving or he is itching or he is drooling or he has too many scares that it's hard to work on him . Apparently, they Cut him too many times or nicked him too many times that he was emotionally scarred actually. He was bleeding in areas that clearly and obviously was nicked with trimmer. Don't recommend anyone or anymore. He was shaking so bad for hrs afterward.

After shave for lab mix and little dog has grown out a bit.

It's much more wide ranging than training that's only focused on commands like sit/stay/down/etc (though you can work on all of those with the Naked Dog's programs too). Before we signed up for the group training series, I was at my wit's end with our recently adopted dog. He had a lot of behavioral issues, ranging from chewing things in the house, overall excitability, constant attempts to eat pecans and, worse, trash on walks (and often succeeding despite our best efforts & requiring steady doses of probiotics and even a vet visit to induce vomiting), and lunging on leash at dogs and passing vehicles. We also noticed that when we took him to the dog park, he'd play really rambunctiously and generally go 0-60, including running and body checking other dogs (not the best strategy for harmonious playing). The great part about this series is that it's three in-person sessions (we added a fourth for some additional coaching) and the rest is a series of online lessons. This made it easy for us to work through at our own pace. In the online portion, the end of every lesson included video homework that we'd send in and get feedback from one of the Naked Dog trainers -- this was great because it captured us applying these skills in a total real world setting, without the presence of a trainer to coach us or influence our dog to be on his best behavior. Fast forward a couple months, and now we feel confident that we can handle any situation with our dog, including taking him to busy and distracting environments and responding to misbehavior. He's mellowed out so much -- he isn't perfect, but it feels like we've reached an understanding. He went from my problem child to my sidekick. He can walk in a heel, he comes when called, and will wait at the door before we say he can come in. It feels like he's looking to us as leaders and that he's truly settled in as part of our family. We followed the Naked Dog's recommendations for introducing dogs for the first time when we took him over to a friend's house to meet their dogs, and they remarked on what a good dog he is, and that he's better behaved than other dogs they've petsitted, so now we have a worry-free petsitting option. I also now take him by our neighborhood park on walks and let him meet other dogs, which used to be a wild activity full of leash pulling and jumping. The Naked Dog taught us what to look for in reading dogs' behavior so that we can spot polite vs rude behavior and manage their interactions before they start getting too wild, which is a truly priceless part of this training seminar.

Transformative Online Training, Truly Beyond Words!…read more We are so grateful for Allegra and her incredible online training program. We took in two stray dogs who were wild, anxious, and completely untrusting. We weren't sure where to begin and it was chaotic for us, until we found her. Through her online courses and virtual sessions, she helped guide us step by step with patience, wisdom, and a technique that honestly goes beyond words. Even though we never met in person, her presence and deep understanding of animal behavior came through in every interaction. With her support, our dogs have started to trust us, calm down, and settle into their new life. The change has been remarkable. It feels like a miracle to see them open up and begin to feel safe and loved. If you're dealing with fearful or reactive dogs, do not hesitate to work with Allegra. Her approach is compassionate, intuitive, and truly life-changing. Thank you, Allegra, so much!!

However, the two 30 minute to 45 minutes training sessions were supposed to be 1hour sessions but we're cut short because other customers were arriving. We did not have enough time with the trainers to become skilled at reinforcing what our dogs had learned. We did get written instructions and email instructions. But for the price, I thought we would get more thorough training. The owner Lisa is knowledgeable and nice. Austin, her son, answers the phone he is also very nice. Leaving my dogs at their facility was stressful. I was told I would have communication and pictures or videos daily. What they didn't tell me is the pictures our poses and videos that match canned statements, not real communication about my dog and only once daily. I was given the direct phone number of the owner but couldn't reach her until three or four calls were made. I felt upset that I couldn't determine my dogs well-being from the poses and the canned comments that were generic to every dog. It was upsetting waiting for a callback. I couldn't visit my dogs while they were boarded for training and one of the pictures they looked very stressed. So I was upset by the time. I finally got a callback. The owner Lisa was helpful when she called back. I did get more personal interaction from the trainers. After speaking with Lisa. When I had a scheduling issue, she was also accommodating. My issue is when we got our dogs home we were not trained to reinforce what they had learned. We are not trained to get the results we saw when we picked up the dogs from boarding training. Then there are the group classes. They last for six months. I had terrible health problems for two months and could not attend and they will only allow me one month credit even though I offered MD proof that I was sick. So two months later, our two, very reactive Frenchies in tow, we were late to class and exhausted due to late night, long flight delays. I called talked to Austin told him we would be 36 minutes late.. He said no problem come on in, we will take care of you when you arrive. After a 45 minute drive , we arrived and employee Jerry was very rude. Turned us away and said "I don't know what to tell you, class is over why are you here"? I explained what Austin had said, Jerry said again. "I don't know what to tell you class is over" and shrugged. I called Austin back, he said "I don't know what to say, sorry come back next week". Even though we arrived at the exact time, I told Austin we would arrive. I expect better customer service for $6,000. The sales pitch I was given, led me to believe they would be very present knowledgeable, and helpful. that has not consistently been our experience. We attended class today and were pleasantly surprised. Lisa was teaching and it was a good class. We went over the basics of what they had taught our dogs and how to do it at a very basic level. I feel like I should've had today's training and several other training sessions during the time my dogs were being boarded and trained. There would've been more value in boarding them if I was better equipped to deal with them when they got home.

We did get one update after a week but it was simply a few pics below, a 3 second video of her on a leash, and a generic text which referred to our dog as " they." We created an account on their portal which has different tabs including a report card, pics and video updates, etc. Ours was never updated; no pics, no report card, no nothing. The most disappointing was what we received for the $2500. From the first discussion, then reiterated again at the meet and greet, and yet again when we dropped her off, was our main concern potty training. They asked us to fill out in writing what concerns we had when we dropped her off. We noted potty training, again, along with nipping, jumping, leash tugging, stay and a request to teach her to shake/roll over. We also expressed our concern with our puppy interacting with other dogs. 3 weeks prior she was viciously attacked by another dog and thankfully an emergency vet saved her. Since the attack was on her throat, she ended up with a hoarse raspy sound when she breathes heavily. We left our puppy and made an appt to come back in 2 weeks, at 1:00, for our owner training session with Matthew. We arrived on time and thought it was odd that Matthew left for lunch shortly after we arrived. Samantha was very nice and spent time going through what our puppy was taught; ie walking on a leash and sitting in PLACE - which was exciting. Matthew came back from lunch and stopped in to say hello. They thanked us and said we were finished. I then asked how the potty training went? They said they don't offer potty training and the owner of the company does not let them potty train. We explained the other trainer we used years ago with our other dog taught him to ring a bell when he had to go out - which worked perfectly. Matthew jokingly replied that doesn't work because the dog then rings the bell all the time just to go outside to play. Well it worked for us. As we were leaving I asked if they could show us what fun tricks our puppy now knows. He looked perplexed and said "tricks? What do you mean by tricks?" I said like shake or rollover? He then said they don't teach tricks and this is so easy to do myself. Wow.... Samantha asked if our dog had an allergy problem because her breathing was hoarse sounding. I guess no one remembered me telling them about the dog attack which makes me wonder if they did in fact train her around other dogs. They told us they would do this but never mentioned this at our final meeting. They told us to continue using the shock collar for jumping, biting, barking, etc. I had expected these concerns to have been trained over the 2 weeks. In conclusion, if they don't include potty training, our main reason for paying $2500 for the training, they should have told us that at one of the 4+ times we brought it up. And if the "tricks" were so easy to teach why didn't they do this since this was on my initial concern list they asked me to provide? Proper expectations were not set, utilization of their program portal sections were not used and no follow-up so far.
