Chilaquiles con Pollo y Huevos

I love this place! I've been coming here for at least 10 years and haven't had a bad experience yet! My go to for Chiliquiles and margaritas!

This was definitely not my first time grabbing a bite to eat at PURE, the food is good but the drinks are GREAT! This time I ordered the rice bowl with shrimp, it was delicious, a bit spicy but still yummy! Service was great and the ambiance screams WELCOME! Love the screened in patio vibes!

Regular marg and the skinny marg!

Excellent! Food was flavorful. Atmosphere was fun and relaxing. Service was amazing! Sophia took very good care of us and her recommendation on my drink was perfect! My new favorite marg! Skinny Love with tajin-Perfect balance! Bar tender knocked that one out of the park! Can't wait to go back!

We got the Farmers Market dates mixed up for Duluth so we ended up searching for a place to eat. Nacho Daddy was closed up and we were in the fajita mood so walked across to Pure. It was a beautiful Sunny day in Downtown Duluth so we sat on the patio. Our waiter was knowledgeable and fast for all the stations he had to work. Those guys work hard so my hats off to him. The Ambiance was nice on the patio with a cool breeze and 72 degree spring day! The shrimp fajitas or as my late mom used to to call them "fatijas " we're good with mushrooms and veggies along with pico de gallo guac and sour cream to enhance the fresh taste . The chips and salsa were a little too hard for me especially but the two salas were really good! In fact I dipped my remaining shrimp in it definitely . Now that spring is here a good place to eat during the week or weekends for brunch, lunch, or dinner!

These are the chicken taquitos that come with rice and beans. Loved it

Haven't been to this place in years and was happy to be back! Not disappointed at all. Food was delicious. Price is reasonable for what you get. My meal was very satisfying. Love the patio and views of the train too! Perfect for a spring lunch Or server was a young lady, very sweet and attentive

I came here for Memorial Day lunch, and since I came right when they had opened it was empty with no wait. I asked to be seated outside, and was content with just waters to drink. I ordered the chips and salsa and quesadillas pollo y queso. The quesadillas came out and looked like huge empanadas, not like regular quesadillas. It was stuffed with cheese and shredded chicken, topped with shredded lettuce, green salsa, guacamole, sour cream, and some cheese. I also got that with rice and refried beans. To say that it was good is an understatement. It was a lot of food with the chips and salsa, so I had some leftovers. The service was mediocre, like it could've been better. Overall, it was a good experience here, and would definitely come again and try something different next time.

Mmm. Mmm. MMM. Sizzle. Pop. Crack. That was the noise of the delicious food melting in my stomach acid. This food was so good it was like biting into a cloud made of honey and stardust, with each chew releasing the faint echo of a symphony played on the strings of the universe's most delicious guitar. tlwmPure Taqueria - Duluth3108 Main Street, Duluth, GA 30096 Pure Taqueria, located at 3108 Main Street in Duluth, Georgia, is a vibrant Mexican eatery celebrated for its authentic cuisine and lively atmosphere. Burrito Ahagado

Always been a fan of Pure. Was excited tonight when pork was their braised meat of the day today, meaning they could make the off menu Torta Cubana, a previous menu favorite that was removed when they stopped regularly having pork. My daughter got the burrito ahagado, with chicken. This thing was huge. We started with chips and queso. The house made chips are great, crunchy, just the right amount of greasy, and great with cheese. Highly recommend most of their menu, but wish they would bring back their original chicken fajitas, those were the best. The new chicken fajita is not nearly as good, although still worth ordering.

The food here was great this was a busy weekend but worth the wait which was not to bad . The restaurant has a cute little set up with lists of lights around with outdoor and indoor dining. The outside view was nice on the patio specially because downtown Duluth had a festival going , the pure is right next to the train which my possibly pass by during your dining kinda loud but cool seeing it go by specially if you have kids on your visit here , kids love trains. The food was good , had lots of taste an came out pretty fast . I wish i can remember what all we ate but i definitely have pictures to show lol if your like me when i go out i like to show pictures of what i want sometimes. One dish i definitely remember and recommend is the Queso Fundido it was so so good and a lot to share. Check out photos below

Guacamole y Totopos

On my last trip to Duluth, GA, I was determined to try this cute spot on the corner. I'm happy I did! Let's go through what we ate... Guacamole y Totopos - this appetizer was so good! Loved the fresh, homemade chips as well. So crunchy and seasoned. We even had enough to take home for seconds. Portobello Fajitas - so filling and you get a TON of food! The side of black beans wasn't as flavorful though. It was a little bland for my liking and that contributed to me moving the star rating to 4 out of 5 stars. Outside of that, everything else was seasoned with a nice little kick. Camarón O Pescado - this was the fried grouper tacos my mommy ordered. She enjoyed them and said they were cooked perfectly. The slaw added a nice crunch and balance as well. Drinks... My mommy had a margarita that she loved. I had the Ginger Mojito and didn't really didn't get the the lemon juice or sweetness I was looking for. I just tasted rum and melted ice. I wish it was better. For Ambiance... It was spacious on the inside and nicely decorated. We sat on the outside patio and loved that there were umbrellas covering each table to help with the heat and sun. Service wise... All the staff was nice and accommodating. Overall, I will be back. I may just change the beans options and I'll need to try another drink. Everything else was great!

Birria Lamb Tacos w/ Ginger Mojito
Akira C.

Nice location (other than right near the train tracks) but I wasn't a fan of the food or alcoholic beverage. The birria lamb tacos were recommended so I tried two of those with the rice & beans. The tacos were very bland & dry. I would not order these again if I ever did come back here. My son had the kids meal chicken quesadilla & it was literally big pieces of shredded chicken & melted cheese. No sides, no juice, nothing. The quesadilla was on like one taco shell folded in half, not like any other quesadilla I've seen from actual Mexican restaurants. Even those were so dry & not edible. Moving on to my drink. I ordered the ginger mojito & it was the worst mojito I've ever had in my life. It tasted like it wasn't mixed right & either one ingredient was old/expired or they used something that they shouldn't have. Additionally, I had to ask for mint leaves (that came out by the time I finished my food) because they brought me just what looked like juice in a cup with no garnish or anything to actually look like I was drinking a mojito. For the price, I won't go back. I literally had to throw out our food & didn't finish more than 2 sips of my drink. It's way too expensive to dine here for me not have been able to enjoy it.

Lamburguesa Sandwich + Veggie Enchiladas
Soumya K.

Came into pure taqueria not expecting much but was incredibly and pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We got the lamb burger and veggie enchiladas and both packed a bunch of flavor and were far better than what I was expecting. The fries with the burger were amazing as well. Pure Taqueria won me over and is definitely my new favorite inauthentic mexican restaurant!

Queso Gringo with pickled jalapeño on the side
Sandra B.

We were in the area and stumbled upon Duluth's downtown fall festival. We ate at the first place we saw. This is not the typical Mexican restaurant. Some of the foods we didn't recognize. We started off with queso gringo and chips which was delicious. Beware: chips and salsa are not free. For drinks, our party of three ordered a frozen margarita, Arnold Palmer, and some type of limeade drink. They were pretty good. Our entrees were -Burrito Ahogado with chipotle chicken: very tasty and flavorful; -Tacos w/ chicken: dry and lacked seasoning and toppings: no amount of salt helped; would NEVER order again; -Fries: tasty with a slight spicy kick; and -Pollo con Tequila y Limón (chicken dish with rice and beans: pretty good. - Our female server was nice and prompt but offered no suggestions for us newbies. Pure has a casual ambiance with indoor and outdoor dining on two sides. On this particular Saturday, they had a steady flow of traffic. We were 2 to 1 on whether we would eat here again.

I usually pop in pretty late in the evening before they close since the bakery is a little further from my home. Most of the goodies have dwindled down by the end of the night. The owner is a sweet Taiwanese lady who boasts their products don't contain any preservatives. Everything is freshly made - half the time, the bread baggies are seen open and cooling. My favorites are the buns - the custard, black sesame, hot dog and Chanel polo meat floss buns. Their sandos remind me of Family Mart sandwiches in Taiwan. And the bento boxes are massive - definitely recommend the fried pork chop bento box! The combo comes with a drink, as well. I'm still on the hunt for an egg salad sandwich rivaling Lawson's or 7-11 but the one here has good bread! I tried an orange cream sandwich too and the cream left a film on my tongue so not my favorite but it's a nice, light dessert They have a ton of different options though so something for everyone. Next time, I'll have to come earlier to get a loaf of just plain white bread. They only had flavored breads $8/ loaf when I came and I got the sesame but I haven't tried it yet. The more adventurous eaters will go for the bun bo hue because there is a lot more complexity to it. And then you have the banh mi. It's a banh mi. Your proto-typical Vietnamese ingredients from grilled pork (what I got!!!) to BBQ pork to crispy pork belly and the works! The ingredients are one in same with any place that specializes in banh mis. What sets this place apart is that they offer the stick version of the traditional banh mi. Yes!!!! The stick version. Banh mi is traditionally served in a toasted buttered French baguette loaf that acts like a submarine sandwich open hot dog bun style then all the ingredients are shoved in the opening then wrapped up for you to open and enjoy. The stick version however is a long, thin, yet equally buttery, flaky, soft bun but it's almost a foot long and thin but they don't skimp on the flavors of the banh mi! That's what makes this place so interesting and worth visiting time and time again. Plus the price is so affordable for a banh mi. The traditional banh mi's run you at $6 per sandwich. The stick version runs you at $5. Between the two versions, you're looking at roughly a $12-$14 with tax. It's such a fantastic deal for something as filling as banh mi can be and between the two versions of banh mi, you will be satisfied! Highly recommend for a good banh mi!
