I've been with Break Coffee since their earliest days, back when they stood under the humble banner of Forgotten Coast in Johns Creek. I was there for the original tastings, and I say this boldly, as one of their first and most loyal customers: I have never tasted coffee roasted to such perfection. Having spent time doing ministry in Italy, I can say without hesitation we are privileged to have a roaster of this caliber here. Truly, this is among the finest coffee not only in the United States, but in the world. Now, with that said, my one heartfelt critique over the past couple of years concerns the warmth of the staff. There's been a subtle shift a touch of coldness that wasn't there before. It saddens me to admit that this change has led me to frequent another shop, one that simply felt more welcoming. The cafe is located in a shopping center with shared parking. I love the name and the aesthetic of this place. The staff is always really kind and patient. I love the sourdough a the flavor profile of the tuna. I ate the entire thing so fast. I definitely recommend. The menu consist of a few items and they have a lot of sweet treat options available. This was the strange thing that a coffee shop does not have coffee. So I ordered a corn latte that was different. It was really really good. For food I ordered a bagel and lox plate. It came out really colorful and decorative. The stuff on top of the bagel was really good but since I'm from New York City, I give the bagel zero stars. My other complaint is that I'd visited 3 times in the past two weeks, sat in the cafe for at 3+ hours each time, and was in a rush to attend a important zoom meeting, and planned to order after my meeting was over. 30 mins in, I was actively speaking on the video call when the cafe owner interrupted me to say that I couldn't sit without ordering a drink. So many parts of me want to justify her behavior, maybe she's anxious about the cafe not making enough money - but given that she has seen me before and I was actively speaking - that rubbed me the wrong way.
